Reporting for Canyon (Day 10 Early Evening)

They had found somethign of interest in that weird gree ship, somethign that probably shouldn't be left alone give the option. Though Silas wasn't really sure what could be done about it either, you just didn't leave super weapons lying around for just anyone to find though. So he sought out one of the Masters, one that knew a bit abotu fighting.

JMaster Jaric would probably be in his quarters or out trainign somewhere. Either way Silas tried to let the force guide him to wherever Abs' favorite person was.

Jaric was found in the meditation chamber, having discarded his thermal cloak as he sat on his knees in deep thought. Though he was instantly aware as Silas approached.

"Yes, young student?" he said with his usual serious tone as he opened his eyes.

"Sorry to disturb you, Master Jaric." Silas offered in return, trying to figure out it he should ease into the topic or just spit it out.

"But I figured you'd be the man to talk to about this. A couple of other students and I went exploring the ruins in Holnesh Canyon... Well, it turned out to be some sort of Gree ship that seemed to have crashed three hundered or so years ago, and inside is what I think is some sort of super weapon?"

Jaric seemed displeased with the news, but that also seemed to be his natural reaction to a lot of things. "Gree super-weapon? Please, sit and give me the details, Silas." He gestured with military precision to the opposite place on the floor.

Silas nodded and moved to take the Seat across from Jaric. "Well, that's my theroy We say the Droid, locked behind some pstisteel Doors, it was probably by far the llargest droid I've ever seen, The way it was built too? The joints and limbs were reinforced, which leads me to believe it was designed for battle."

He frowned a moment thoughtfully. "Of course I can't be entirely Certain, but when he powered up the ship's drives, it tried to divert the majority of power to turning the thing back on. The droids artifical intelligence seemed to run some things vital to the ship? I was thinking it was probably the defenses? As their were pods scattered allover the ship housing smaller droids, likely for defense?" He pulled out the datapad they had found on the ship. "There was a little explanation in this, but I have a hard time comprehending Gree concepts."

Jaric listened with a harsh and stoic expression, like a commander listening to the reports of his scouts. "I see... you're doing the right thing in alerting us to this, Silas. I will speak with the Frey Base commander and we will arrange a proper expeditition to the place."

"I do not understand much of Gree myself.... their language operates differently from ours even when they use Basic, as I understand it. It has to do with how the Gree percieve the galaxy, due to their philosophies and their evolved senses."

He nodded. "The ship seems to be in pretty good shape considering. I'd suggest caution in any investigations though, some of the droids did wake up in our first foray inside. They were rather dangerous."

As the conversation turned to Gree he nodded. "Yeah, we could figure out a little of what the meant, but by and large it was all like a different language, even in basic." He frowned. "It's like you would need a expert on the subject to really understand. All we could really work out was something about the atmosphere here interfered with the giant droid and caused the gree to abandon the vessel."

"Hm, very strange... but I'm no expert on Gree technology, nor on atmospheric occurrances for this kind of planet. We will proceed with caution," he assured Silas with a firm nod. "It is a good thing you went there in a group. Who else was with you?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Well, the initial trip was Byron, Eir, O'vala, Zanja and myself. The following trio had everyone there but O'vala. I dont think exploration is really her thing." Silas explained. "It seemed wise to be cautious in our exploration, so I invited quite a few people."

[Jaric Kaedan]

Jaric seemed to be a little approving of the team roster, judging by his expression and the firmness of his nod. "I see. There aren't many in the Order who are experts on the Gree, but I think it will be for the best to report this to the Order as well to see if we can get someone knowledgeable on the Gree to have a hand in the situation."

"Is this something you wish to follow up on after your trials, Silas?"

That made Silas pause. "Really, I'm not sure." He offered after a few moments. "I'd like to, but it would probably be more akin to satisfying my curiosity. I dont think I have much I can really add to the investigation here."

"Gree and Droids arent really anything I have much experience with after all. Plus if I had to choose between studying here and exploring the greater galaxy and helping people. I'd choose the latter." He smiled slightly, it was probably a bit wordy of a answer, but there it was.

"Not a bad answer," he reassured the boy. "There is wisdom in acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses, and seeing where you can accomplish the most. Research and science isn't for everyone."

"I think I might like it more when I'm older." When he had seen more of the galaxy. "But not right now." There was so much more he wanted to do.

"One of the others I went with might be interested though."
