"Where... where is this? I don't recognize this place, or you," she asked with some hesitation.

[Eir]

“This is the Fray Landing Base on Ilum; we’re Jedi trainees, Eir, T’ame, Silas, and Esla,” she indicated to each of them in turn. “It’s [YEAR],” the half-arkanian added.

"Could we ask where you're from?" Silas added, perhaps trying to get some information in return before turning towards the others.

"Using force powers on it or near it seems to stabilize the signal. Should we use some more?" He asked quietly

[Faily]

"Jedi...?" she blinked in surprise. "How long since I have encountered jedi... and it would seem that it's been over 300 years since I was last activated... I'm not quire sure, my memory is not what it once was. The names of Ilum and this base is unfamiliar to me..."

At Silas' question, she seemed puzzled for a moment. "... I was from... Corbos. I once was... a jedi. Or rather, a padawan."

[Eir]

“Were you calling for help?” that’s what Silas said he heard. The name Corbos didn’t mean anything to her.

"... yes," she nodded. "I could feel your presence through the Force, and it gave me a little bit of hope. While my last encounter with a Jedi was not a good one, I am relieved that you are not Sith."

"Activated? Is this device some sort of holocron?" Silas asked thoughtfully, it seemed rather likely at this point. He didn't know of the place either, but then. That wasnt very suprising.

"You've encountered Sith before?" Was the question that came a moment later.

Silas thought it was a planet that was in the Outer Rim, but couldn't remember anything specific about it.

"That's... a lot of questions, I suppose I should give some answer," she gave a painful smile. "I am Clipse, my master was XoXaan - it has been... a couple of thousand years since our time. We were the Dark Jedi. We rebelled against the Jedi Order and the Council, us and many others. It tore the Order apart, but in the end, we lost... and we were exiled." (This is a Lore or Education against Average difficulty as this story is more well known)

"We... we found planets, people strong in the Dark Side; the Sith. Or rather, the aboriginals known as the Sith..." Clipse flinched a little. "I'm sorry... this might be known history to you?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Silas nodded, he had heard the story before, but it was ancient history to him. So ancient to be almost like legend.

"Yes, I've studied it before. Though it does make me curious why you don't want to meet the sith... Weren't the dark jedi quite like them?"

"We are... were... the founders, of what would become the Sith. My master and her peers established the Order and the religion of Sith, which is more like what it is today. Or, I mean, what it was like at least 300 years ago." She seemed a little pained as she gave a brief smile again in apology.

"My master though she... nothing was off-limit to her. I followed her because I believed in the philosophy that the Jedi Order deemed wrong; that the Dark side was worthy of study to broaden our knowledge of it. Master XoXaan was... driven for much more. A simple holocron was not enough for her, she wanted one that had... all the power and essence of the gatekeeper, rather than just the knowledge." Clipse gestured to herself. "This is the result."

[Eir]

Eir nodded as the padawan spoke, those who went against the tradition of the Code, and the founding of the Sith, was a personal point of interest to the half-Arkanian who found the current state of affairs to be a little restrictive at times.

"So she turned you into this." Silas mused looking over the image of the woman. He wasn't very intrigued about the knowledge she held, the dark side held little interest to him.

"Was it with your permission?" Something about how she explained how she came to be suggested it was not.

[Faily]

"Not exactly... or rather, she was not honest with me of what it would entail. I was... not prepared for this. This existence," Clipse looked at herself with some disgust. "In a way, I feel like a ghost."

Eir and Silas were both familiar with the Dark Jedi, the schism, and the Hunded Year Darkness surrounding those events. XoXaan had been one of the ringleaders of the Dark Jedi, along with the likes of Ajunta Pall, Remulus Dreypa, Karness Muur, and Sorzus Syn. These people had lost the schism war and had been exiled from the Republic and the order... and had somehow found the homeworld of the ancient Sith, where they had brought knowledge and technology to the Force sensitive aboriginals. The Sith today were descendants of these Jedi intermixed with the original Sith.

Corporal Raz came back in and did a double-take as she saw the projected image. "Holy mother of...!" she took a moment to steady herself. "Uh... I spoke your Master Chriala...?"

[Eir]

“In a way, you are. But,” Eir frowned thoughtfully, “you said Ilum was unfamiliar to you? Where is the last place you recall being?”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Corporal Raz came back in and did a double-take as she saw the projected image. "Holy mother of...!" she took a moment to steady herself. "Uh... I spoke your Master Chriala...?"

"It's alright, Corporal. Everything is under control." Silas replied offering a smile to the woman. "You said you talked to Master Chriala?"

Turning back to Clipse, Silas nodded. "I see." He said simply. "Not to rush you with too many questions again, but is that what you want help with then? This existence of yours? Or is it something else?"

[Faily]

"Uuh... yeah. *ahem* She said, I quote; I have full faith in our students in this particular matter. We trust their judgement. So, yeah, that's what she said." The corporal wasn't sure if that's what the kids wanted to hear though.



Clipse glanced to the new arrival, but what was one more stranger to her?

She looked to Eir, her brow furrowed in painful thought. "I remember Dromund Kaas last. A Sith, named Darth Nyriss, was the last one I remember to own this holocron, for lack of a better word. Before that I have passed hands many times, as the Sith all want the power and knowledge. She was going to entrust me to an ally of hers, but I do not remember who, and I don't know how I ended up here. All I know is I was alone, and I could not feel much outside of my own existence..."

As Silas spoke, she spoke hastily. "Yes!" Clipse took a sharp breath, or the ghost-equalent of. "This existence pains me... I do not know how to end it... I just want to be free. To join the Force again. Perhaps I can be a part of it again."

[Eir]

Eir looked uncertainly at the text in her hands, she had expected that answer, but wasn’t sure how to execute it, and Master Chriala isn’t coming.

OOC: Lore against Daunting difficulty, and I will use Destiny to upgrade once. You can also work together on this with a maximum of 2 assisting. The Duality of the Force also applies in this case.

"Which is why you didn't want to be found by Sith again." Silas replied quietly before looking too the others.

"Should we see what we can do for her?" Silas asked, it was something they had to agree on. They were once enemies after all.
