Saber's are Hard (Day 4 Mid Afternoon DLH)

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I know." He offered o'vala a gentle smile. "I just didn't know what else to say. I just know it's hard for you to talk about your sister though." ther was a lingering puase. '"Still I am sorry you lost her."


Wwhen O'vala's eyes eyes moved to her chesy his shifted to the side. "If you're wanting to attract boys? MAybe?"

[O'vala Aeser]

Or girls. Or both. O'vala shook her head at herself. That wasn't the Jedi way. "O'nera liked to keep up appearances. Sometimes I wonder if she had a secret boyfriend or something."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Maybe?" Silas mumured thoughtfully. "I bet if she did it was someone stylish, since she went through the trouble of keeping up appaereances."

"It would be weird if she dated a slob or something. Right?" Of course he couldn't say for certain he hadn't know O'Nera.

[O'vala Aeser]

"Yeah, definitely not like her to be with a slob. She'd want someone dedicated, just like she was." O'vala closed her eyes. "I guess I would have heard from him though after what happened."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Probably." Silas agreed with a nod. "Though maybe he was a recent fling or something like that?" Those sort of things seemed to happen from time to time.

"But you're likely right and she didn't have one."

[O'vala Aeser]

"I just wish I knew. There's a lot of stuff I don't know. She wasn't the type to leave a diary lying around or whatever."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Oh? No secret diary in her datapad or something?" They would of sent Valee her things right?

"Maybe filed under a more inconspicuous name?"

[O'vala Aeser]

"Not that I know of. I guess I could give that a shot."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

He nodded. "Look for something out of place, like her Lunch menu or I dunno list of favorites shows. Something you think she probably wouldn't bother to keep track of."

[O'vala Aeser]

"I see." O'vala smiled at Silas. "You're always so smart! See, this is way harder than just like reading books. You gotta have like a natural inclination for that sort of thing, I feel."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Maybe? But being naturally fit helps with doing flips too." At least as far as he knew. "Of course hard work can mean anyone can do either, I suppose it all just really depends on what you find harder?"

"Like how you find studying harder then exercise."

[O'vala Aeser]

"And you find studying easier, huh? You don't get bored sitting there and reading for a long time?" The thought sent a shiver down her spine.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Sometimes I do, but other times not so much. I suppose alot of it has to do with what I'm studying. If I'm interested in it? It's fun."

"Do you find all types of exercise fun?"

[O'vala Aeser]

"I don't really like to lift weights too much. Most of my stuff is gymnastics and stuff, not really long cardio, now that I think about it."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yup, studying works kinda the same way. You do the stuff you like, and kinda avoid the rest of it. Course you have to find the subjects you like, which can be pretty hard in its own way."

"Not that you have to study if you don't want to though, we all have our prefrences."

[O'vala Aeser]

"Huh." O'vala thought for a bit and then sighed. "Let's get my saber done. This is all too much."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Ok!" Silas replied, looking back to the work.

"We're almost done anyways."

[O'vala Aeser]

O'vala, at least, seemed more chipper than before. "What do we do now then? To finish this up?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Put it back together." Silas replied with a grin.

"Then see if it works."

[O'vala Aeser]

The miralian picked it up and did her best with putting all the parts in the right places. She held it up to Silas, looking for affirming nods or something of the sort. "Hm, you're sure we fixed everything inside?"
