[Mir]

The morning hours found Mir knocking Farissa's door. The young farghul fidgeted as he waited for the door to open.

[Farissa Kho]

The blue knight stifled a yawn as she opened the door after a few minutes. "Hngh... good morning, Mir." Even if she was tired, she gave the cat a smile.

[Mir]

"Good morning." Mor bobbed his head downwards, his ears flopping along. Blinking his eyes slowly he regarded the knight. "Would you have some time now or later today? To talk about what I saw at the Vergence."

[Farissa Kho]

"You're here now, aren't you?" she smiled. "No time like the present. Besides, Corvin's already out so we got time alone."

Farissa stepped away from the door to allow Mir entry. Like all of the other rooms in this temple, it was incredibly spartan.

[Mir]

"You could be busy?" Mir offered. Older people seemed to have a lot of important things to do. "Oh you sleep with Corvin. Nice." he quipped before stepping into the room. "So. Can I sit down?" Mir's eyes looked for a chair as his tail swung nervously back and forth.

[Farissa Kho]

Farissa snickered. "No, I don't sleep with him. We just room together. But yes, take a seat." There was a bit of lack of chairs though in the old temple, but there were round stone benches to sit on.

[Mir]

"Uh?" Mir tilted his head to the side, not entirely sure what Farissa meant. "Right." Locating a stone bench Mir plopped hips down on it while reaching to brush his tail out of the way so he wouldn't sit on it. "Uh, so..." fidgeting his paws, Mir tried to figure where to look. "So in my vision there was a fat human who insisted I had killed him."

[Farissa Kho]

Farissa took a seat on the opposite bench, legs crossed in her seat. It would've almost looked like a proper meditative pose if she didn't slouch so much to one side.

"Oh? Was it someone you knew, or...? I take it there's more to it."

[Mir]

"Noppe." Mir shook his head vigorously. "Never saw him. Not that I can remember. He said I killed them all. One by one." he sounded ashamed, looking down at his toes as he talked. "Even if I haven't killed anyone!"

[Farissa Kho]

"I know you haven't, Mir," she responded reassuringly. "The vergence often shows possibilities, or our worst fears. Sometimes it just twists our thoughts and expectations."

[Mir]

"Mhhm. He insisted I went back to Doloran and killed everyone." Mir confessed. "That while I started with the masters, then I lost control and started killing everyone working for the masters. My paws were red." he held up one of his clean and groomed paws up for Farissa to see. He had spent a good while making sure that his fur had no blemishes.

[Farissa Kho]

Farissa looked at his presented pretty paws, nodding thoughtfully. "How did that make you feel then? When you heard this?"

[Mir]

"Uh, I didn't like it. Never thought I'd kill that many people. Or that killing people would cause so much violence. The guilds seemed to be very selective. They'd kill people who they didn't like but there was no wars or anything."

[Farissa Kho]

"Mm," she nodded slowly a couple of times. "Maybe you should tell me all you saw? Since now you're talking about war?"

[Mir]

"Well, then I thought about not killing the masters. That way they wouldn't try to send people to kill me. Since that seemed like a bad idea. So I figured I'd arm the slaves. Have them claim their freedom. But then some of them began to fight for the power." he huffed. "Or that's what the wake-dream said. Then I suggested saving few here and there. Under they eyes and noses of the master." Mir explained, pausing to inhale. "The wake-dream then showed kittens unhappy with me. Save us all they said. But I told them to suck it up because I didn't want to end like Palach the Redsnout. And then the vision faded."

[Farissa Kho]

"I see..." Farissa murmured as she thought about what Mir told her. "It sounds like it was trying to show you the worst outcomes of your thoughts, though also with some caution provided to you."

She gave the cat a curious look. "Have it made you rethink this?"

[Mir]

"I guess." Mir mused, his gaze still returning to the floor. "I mean, I didn't like what I saw. I don't think I want to become that.. whatever that was. But but.." His blue eyes sought out hers. "I want to help more than few people. I want to help everyone."

[Farissa Kho]

Farissa's yellow eyes looked back at Mir. They were warm and understanding. "That's good. Wanting to help people. It's not always easy, sometimes it's very difficult, but we do what we can."

"When it's dangerous situations, like dealing with criminals and slavers, we also have to make sure that we don't do anything rash that ends up hurting the ones we're trying to help."

[Mir]

"Well, I want to figure out how to do more." he proclaimed proudly. "Free more people. If I have to start small, fine. But I want to free as many as possible! Uh, even if it means poly-ticks. Getting more people help me."

[Farissa Kho]

"But you'll have more people who can help you soon, Mir," she said with a big smile. "When you become a Jedi, you will have your fellow Jedi to help you. Help you plan on how to best do it, support you in your initiative, and help you with seeing it through. Surely you have made friends with some of your fellow students who would come along too if you asked?"
