[Day 5 - Mid Evening] Denizens of the Deep

[Esla Tor]

"A little bit of both, I would imagine...I know the Jedi and the Sith have been enemies with each other until recently, at least. We don't exactly see eye to eye, but nothing out of my personal experience." She admitted with a few nods.

[Byron Mik]

"Sounds like a great time to actually meet a Sith in a semi-controlled environment," he countered.

[Esla Tor]

Esla found herself conceding to Byron's wisdom with a few reluctant nods. "You're probably right...I guess I can talk to one if they want to talk to me."

[Byron Mik]

"Just a thought, if you're serious I am sure I can rope one into chatting with you," he replied.

[Esla Tor]

Esla raised her brows at that. "You mean that you keep contact with one of them? Here I thought we're only meeting them on special occasions."

[Byron Mik]

“What can I say, I have a magnetic personality. Sith love me, even when they are trying to kill me,” he said in a joking manner.

[Esla Tor]

Esla gave Byron an abrupt blink, clearly not getting the joke. "What makes you think that? If they are trying to kill you, don't you think that's something you should tell the Masters?"

[Byron Mik]

Byron chuckled lightly and said, "It was a joke, I have no idea if any of them want to kill me specifically. The Masters have enough on their plate herding the vinecats that are the students."

[Esla Tor]

She was a little relieved at that and gave a few nods. "They may not like us very much but I don't think they're trying to kill us...Not that I know them very well but I can say that much about them."

[Byron Mik]

"it's more of a general kill than specific, they hate us just for being Jedi, but I doubt we have made much of an impression beyond that," he responded.

[Esla Tor]

"Do you know think we'll run into them again? I mean...really soon. They probably have a good idea where we might be going just because we're all not real Jedi yet."

[Byron Mik]

"Them going to Illum would be... problematic as it is nominally a Republic world... not sure if officially though," he said.

[Esla Tor]

She pressed her lips together as she could feel some creepy fabricated premonition about this. "...And do you think they'll actually listen to rules? Do they seem like the type?"

[Byron Mik]

"Well then you better get real good with a lightsaber or stay behind me," he said warmly patting her shoulder.

"If the nasty Sith come after us I won't let them hurt you without a fight."

[Esla Tor]

Her shoulders went rigid at the idea that the Sith might attack them during their time in Ilum. "Thanks...that's even if we have our light sabers by then but I'm sure the Masters and Knights will watch over us. We seem to outnumber them at least."

[Byron Mik]

"Even if we don't training sabers can do much in a pinch," he said warmly.

"Whatever will be, will be, and if we must return to the Force then so be it, but I have Faith that we will see these trials through to the end."

[Esla Tor]

"Right..." She nodded at that. "I guess it's hard enough trying to pass the Trial. There's probably no need to worry about other things that may or may not happen. Thank you for listening."

[Byron Mik]

"My thoughts exactly," he agreed.

[Esla Tor]

"That seems pretty easy for you, it almost looks like you don't worry about anything," Esla said, perhaps admiring the stance he seemed to have taken.

[Byron Mik]

“I worry about others; I worry about the innocents, but myself… not so much. What will be, will be,” he responded.
