Down in the Dark (Silas)

[Orgus Din]

"Well..." Orgus grimaced. "Unfortunately, our bodies have a certain amount of control over us. We just need to keep our needs and desires separate. We need to eat, for instance. We might desire, say, ice cream. And while it's okay to have in moderation, of course, we can't let our desires control us any more than anything else."

He grimaced again; even the straight-talking dad-Jedi felt a little awkward. "And with the sort of thing we're talking about... you need to be extra careful. It's easy for feelings to develop... not just yours, but your partner's. Even if they're not a Jedi themselves, a Jedi should avoid causing pain. Even if you avoid attachment, it's no good leaving a trail of broken hearts behind you."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Silas nodded thoughtfully, that seemed like it could be an awful lot of work, now that he heard it. "I think this is going to be something I have to think a lot about." The young man replied after a few moments.

"There is alot to consider there, and I imagine some of it you don't even have control of." He sighed softly.

"You know, it was kind of weird. Norvin said going back would be hard. Right before I left that place, I guess that is a little bit of what he meant."

[Orgus Din]

"Pretty much." Orgus said blandly.

After a moment, he reached out, clapping Silas on the shoulder. "You're doing fine. You've got a good mind and a good heart. That'll get you through most of this."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Thanks." Silas offered with a nod, he seemed to have gone over most of the major points of his experience in the vergeance, and gained a few extra things to think of as well. Some which were pretty intresting tidbits about girls, and kissing.

He glanced up at the older man, Orgus had never actually said if he had kissed a girl, though Silas was pretty certain thwmaster had, at least a few times. Dismissing the lingering question about if he had ever kissed Master Murah, he smiled instead. "I'll try my best."

"I think that'll be good enough." Orgus nodded. He, too, was willing to let the subject of kissing girls pass.

"We can talk about it more later, if you like. Once you've had time to think about it a bit. But that's up to you."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I'll come by if I need to." Was Silas's reply with a serious nod. He thought they had mostly covered the topic of girls, but Master Ogrus was right, there was probably things about it he hadn't considered yet.

"Thank you, Master Ogrus."

Orgus smiled. "Anytime, Silas."

From there, it was an easy trip back.
