Return to the Temple of Bloom (Day 6 MM JT)

[Eir]

Eir looked up and gasped. From their fluffy coats to their banded tails to their huge golden eyes, lemurs were jam-packed with adorableness. "I think they heard you coming."

[Hatoful GM]

Another brief bit of burbling, and the lemurs scampered down through the gap in the ceiling. They moved along the walls seemingly as easily as they did the floors, their clever paws easily finding their grip.

They descended on the fruit eagerly, the little burbling noises turning distinctly happy. Paws came up, seizing fruit, and stuffing it in their little mouths.

They turned to look at the Jedi as they chewed, eyes wide.

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Hehe, cute." Zizzy watched their antics for a while. "I guess you made some new friends Silas."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yup, but these Lemurs are friendly types, you all should be friends with them soon enough." He should really let the girls feed the next batch they came across.

"But what do you think of the carving? A prank by local's or the original jedi inhabitants?" Havign a second opinion on it would be a good thing.

[Eir]

Still watching the lemurs, “it would be pretty ballsy to flaunt something like that right here in the Temple,” Eir opined. “Isn’t that the exact kind of faux attachment Jedi are supposed to avoid?”

[Zizzy Roosh]

"It's probably just some locals who decided to visit the Temple and thought graffiti was a good idea. Or some Sith thinking it would be funny to leave that on a Jedi Temple." She shrugged, it didn't seem that likely to her that it was done by Jedi, but you never knew.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Well, Master Ogrus said so himself, what the Jedi order does and how it operates has changed some over the centuries Maybe this is from a time when attachments bewteen jedi were allowed? Or maybe they were mroe lenient abotu them?"

Silas shrugged, and began to move out of the room. "I suppose you two are likely right though Shall we head to the next stop?"

[Zanja]

((popping in with Silas's permission, if that's okay with the rest of you...))

"Next stop?" Zanja's light, quick footsteps clattered to a standstill as she caught up with the group. It hadn't been too hard to catch up, even though she'd been late leaving the landing site. The others weren't exactly hurrying or walking single file to hide their numbers, after all. "Hey. Late, sorry."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah, We're heading to the main chamber next. Or what I think was the main chamber." Silas replied flashing a smile at Di. "It's super pretty, and really neat." He stepped into the hallway sliding past Di.

"After that we can get to the real exploring, all I really saw after it was the old Liabrary. So don't worry about beign late, you arrived just in time."

[Eir]

"Hey, Zanja," the diminutive trainee slipped her datapad out of a pocket inside her cloak and snapped a photo of the engraving. "We've still got heaps of time," she assured.

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Zanja! Hey, nice to see you." Zizzy gave her a smile and took a closer look at the engraving once Eir had taken a picture. She gently touched the stonework.

"What do you think, does it look old or new? Is expect lichen growing in it if it's old."

[Eir]

Eir also ran her fingers over the damaged stone, looking up at the damaged ceiling, "what do you think the rainfall is like? If it stays pretty dry in here, it would take longer for the stone to wear, and lichen to grow."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

If the girls wanted to investigate the mystery he really wasn't going to rush them along, leaning against the wall he watched then take a better look. "You two are both a bit more meticulous about this then me. The placement on the wall seemed to be the weirdest part of it. I can't imagine the bed here being intact for very long after the temple was abandoned after all.

"And if it was a haunt for locals I figured i'd spot more things like this, but I didn't..." HE frowned. "Of course I could of missed them."

[Hatoful GM]

The walls seemed to have only a modest amount of lichen on them. The carving was in a small bare spot.

On the other hand, it seemed as dirty and worn as the rest of it. The original carving must have been a thorough one if traces of it could still be seen so clearly, from however long ago it was there.

Ares waved to Zanja, then moved next to Silas, and leaned against the wall next to him. "Lichen is not my strong suit." He stated simply as he looked around. "This must have been full of bustling in its heyday."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah, I figure it was abandoned in the time of Revan." Silas replied looking around the area. "I found a datapad that looks to be several hundred years old, and what little I found on it leads me to believe it belonged to one of the students who used to stay here."

"I guess the order just hasn't had the rescources to restore this place since then."

[Eir]

Eir whipped around, “you found a what? lemme see?” her eyes seemed to glow a little brighter than usual.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"A datapad, and you can see it later, it's back in my room." He hadn't thought to bring it with him today. "I was hoping to find more stuff like it, which is why I invitied you all along."

"If you two are done looking at the love note, I suppose we can go to the next place though?" This time it was Silas's eyes that were sparkling. "Then we can start really exploring."

[Eir]

“Ready when you are! Zizz?” she encouraged, putting her own datapad away for the moment.

[Zanja]

Zanja was also decidedly not a lichen expert, but watched the others investigate it with a sort of grumpy fondness.

"Yeah, let's go see this chamber," she agreed. "Didn't realize this was a treasure hunting expedition again. I'll keep an eye out," she added with a gravelly chuckle. "If somebody found my datapad in a few hundred years it'd be pretty boring for them, but you never know."
