Fishing for Food (Day 5 Early Evening, Plaza)

#1 Postby Silas Myles Pearson » Tue Jan 29, 2019 4:56 pm

Silas was hungry. half starved even, it had been eons since lunch at the beach and the overly vaautious part of him had skipped out on the resfreshments at the sith shindig. Theere was likely nothing at all wrong wiith them, but that didn't mean he really wanted to accept their hospitality, that probably came with consequences.

Wandering the streets of the plaza he looked around for a tasty looking place to stop in. His first instinct was pizza, but Master Murah would likely scold his if he had that for dinner two days in a row. So prevent the possible occurance he looke ffor something new, anythign should do as long as it didn't have bugs in it. Though strangely enough Meli seemd to like bugs, so maybe they weren't all bad.

Outside a local eatery, Farissa was carefully surveying the menu on display for potential customers. It seemed to be a seafood-place, judging by the depictions of fish and octopi on the front of the shop.

He hadn't expected to see Farissa out here, and Silas' feet came to slow stop. Maybe she would want to eat together? Well, it was no harm in asking.

Trying and somehow succeeding to not look to eager at the prospect he walked up to the older woman. "Heya." He offered with a bright smile. "Mind if I join you?"

Farissa turned her head to the familiar voice. "Oh, hi, Silas." She gave him a brief look of surprise. "Sure thing. I'm surprised to see you out here walking about on your own. You alone?"

"Yeah, Mir and Ares ate a lot of those appetizers at that little gathering, so they weren't hungry. Anyways I do quite a bit of wandering on my own." He took the seat across from her with a grateful smile.

A thoughtful expression made it's way onto his features. "Though I suppose with all the Sith here I should be a little more cautious."

"Well, always safety in numbers, Silas," she patted him on the shoulder. "Do you like seafood? My treat. I need something to eat too after that meeting."

"Yeah, well as long as it doesn't have too many tentacles." Something about tentacles didnt seem tasty... Maybe that was some of the images he saw online talking.

Which was the last thing he needed to think about sitting at the table with a cute girl. Fighting down the urge to blush, he shook his head to clear it. "Did you avoid eating the refreshments too then? I know it was probably paranoia, but I felt like it was a bad idea to accept the Sith hospitality."

Farissa waved him inside the establishement and they were shown to the tabe by a host. "Me? Well... honestly, I don't really eat much when I'm on the job. And hanging out with Sith means I'm on the job like double more than usual."

The Knight rather unceremoniously flopped down in her chair. "Ooof... so much to do with these trials. Had I known this when I was doing my trials, I wouldn't have caused so much trouble to my teachers."

"You look like a lady that deserves a massage." He teased with a grin, as he settled into his seat. "But I'd guess it would be hard work."

"I have enough trouble keeping track of myself, having a couple handfulls of students to keep track of, and looking fashionable while doing it. Must be exhausting."

He paused for a moment and glanced down at the table. "I can imagine you got a bit of a tongue lashing too when we came back from that mission too. Which probably doesnt help."

"Ah, that?" she chuckled and picked up the menu. "No biggie, really. Master Jaric wasn't too happy, but he and I got a lot of different opinions."

She smirked. "You're also far too young to be trying pick up lines on me, Silas."

He arched an eyebrow, then stuck out his tongue. "You're the one that told me I need to practice, Farissa." was followed by his lips spreading into a wide grin. "I figured that was your way of volunteering."

He looked towards the ceiling, his head tilting back. "Not that I even know how go give a massage anyways."

He smirked and dropped the subject, as he picked up the menu and looked at. "Still, I'm happy to hear you didn't get into too much trouble "

"Ah, I suppose I did," she chuckled. "But yes, I rarely get into too much trouble for stunts like that. I mean, the other masters agreed that you guys were ready for a responsibility like that, as long as I was around to step in at any moment's notice. And well, doing things on the sly like that is pretty much my job."

He couldn't help but flash a grin as she laughed. "I will stop if you like though, I know you think of me a kid after all, plus Corvin likes you so that must be trouble enough."

"I suppose it's just easier though? Half the girl trainees don't even seem to notice when I'm flirting." It was his time to chuckle now, and he shook his head.

"But I'm glad you didn't get in trouble, it's hard to tell sometimes what the masters think we're ready for." He hadn't expected a rescue operation to be one of those things. "I suppose they would let us know if we took on too much though."

"I thought it was pretty hard too when I was your age. As for the flirting, well, I think the girls now are more crushing over Corvin. They'll grow out of it, eventually." She wasn't sure if he found that to be comforting news, but he probably had noticed it a bit too. "I don't think Corvin is into me though."

A waiter came over to take their orders.

"Him and Byron." Silas murmured in reply, pausing a minute to order as the waiter arrived.

"I've never seen Knight Corvin as eager to do anything as he was to play volleyball after you joined." Silas offered his tone probably a little teasing. "Of course that might of been because you looked super hot in your swimsuit."

"Still you probably know better then me." His smile became a little mischievous. "Of course if you're curious you can always let me make something a little sexy to wear for our dinner, and you can see how he reacts."

Farissa placed her order for fried calamari rings, and grilled rainbow trout.

"Heh. Well it was pretty hot... I think I prefer cooler temperatures than this, myself. Ilum is going to be a bit too cold though." She didn't feel like elaborating her relationship with the quiet Knight further with Silas. "Wait... make me something sexy to wear?" the Pantoran looked at him with a raised eyebrow in confusion.

Fried fish had been Silas' first instnict, but had decided that would probably appear a bit childish so ordered blackened Snapper instead, with a salad on the side. The latetr being a nod tote heal consicous jedi masters.

He couldn't help but smile a bit sheepishly at her reaction, his eyes looking towards his water glass somewhat awkwardly. "Just a little sexy. Most of the girls want something cute, or sporty, and I don't really get a lot of time to practice for anything else." There was a small pause. "Though I suppose I could try to get one of the guys to wear something a little risque."

"Ares, would probably agree."

Farissa blinked a few times.

"Oh... right... I remember now. You do like designer stuff in your spare-time, right? I recall you won something back on Coruscant before we left." She nodded now that some pieces fell into place. "Well... I won't say no, but it might be a little inappropriate, no? At least before you've passed your trials."

"Yeah, second place. Forushyyyk is going to wear some of my designs in a music video." Which was pretty super cool in it's own way, and he had to admit he was a little proud of the achievement.

At her answer he nodded, that seemed fair enough. "Okay, i'll send you some designs a bit later, and you can pick one out then." It gave him some time to think of what migth be appropriate too. "Oh, that reminds me. Are we going to have any time together after the trials? I mean me and the other trainees. Or do we go and meet our knights straigth away?"

Their drinks arrived swiftly and the waiter left again.

"Well... after Ilum, you'll be back on Coruscant. The paper-pushers want to update the paperwork for you guys, and you get to have your ceremony and all. From there, depends a lot, I guess. On who your master will be, and how soon there will be duties." She took a sip of her fresh-pressed juice. "Eager to get into action already?"
