Meet and Greet (D5, LA)

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Thank you, though I doubt I'll have to pick refreshements for a young lady at a social gathering all too often, Lady Malveaux. So any ability I have in such will fade soon enough." He offered with a rueful smile, reaching a hand up to run it through his hair.

He eyed her for a few moments. "So then, did you still want to hear what my plan was?"

[Corvin Zell]

As Corvin turned his attention to the Sith, Esla did the same. Her attention went to Silas and Drascovina. She bit back her lip to stop herself from frowning. It seemed even after that incident at the restaurant, she wasn't going to take it easy on them. Barbs within pleasantries.

"So." Corvin grunted to Esla, without quite taking his eyes off of the unfolding scene. "What do you think of all this?"

[Hatoful GM]

"Oh. Yes. You did say something about some sort of plan, didn't you?" Drascovina carefully considered this as she sampled one of the little cucumber and fish items, the morsel disappearing between her lips without touching them.

Tilting her head, she regarded him with narrowed eyes, thoughtfully tapping her fan with one finger. Finally, she nodded, with a hint of a smile. "Very well. Let us hear your plan."

"Well, it's fairly simple really. While Imperial fashions have their own charm. I'd like to introduce you to some of the current core worlds styles."

He paused for a moment trying to figure out if he said something she would take as a insult. "So I'd like to design and craft something for you. To help you get to know core world styles better. That is if it was something you would be interested in." He wasn't sure why exactly he was offering, but he was fairly interested in what her reaction would be.

The eyebrow went back up. "Design something? Are you really some sort of, what, Jedi fashionista? And you want to design something for me? How droll!" She laughed softly; it apparently wasn't quite so amusing as to warrant scathing peals of laughter, or a hand covering her mouth. It rather musical, in the manner of a villain from a children's program with a singing part.

And yet... she eyed Silas speculatively, lips pressing together. "Despite my better instincts, I find myself somewhat curious about what it is you can do. Do you have sketches you can show me? Renders? Is anyone here wearing your work?" She glanced around, lips curling into a smirk. "I trust not."

[Esla Tor]

"So." Corvin grunted to Esla, without quite taking his eyes off of the unfolding scene. "What do you think of all this?"

Esla blinked when the master spoke to her and offered him a quick glance before looking back at the scene. "Uhm...I think it's a good opportunity to meet the Sith at such a time of peace." She said carefully on the matter.

However, she couldn't help shake the feeling that they were going to be snide, prickly and potentially take advantage of them.

Esla blinked when the master spoke to her and offered him a quick glance before looking back at the scene. "Uhm...I think it's a good opportunity to meet the Sith at such a time of peace." She said carefully on the matter.

However, she couldn't help shake the feeling that they were going to be snide, prickly and potentially take advantage of them.

Corvin grunted. "The first line of the Sith code begins peace is a lie." He chuckled darkly. "I wonder what they think about all of this."

"Despite popular belief jedi do have hobbies." Silas replied with a slight smile. "I imagine sith have some as well." He glanced around the room. "You can't spend all your time politicking after all."

"But you're right, I've made some outfits for some of my peers, but none of them are at this event today." He pulled out his datapad. "Some of my designs are going to be appearing in a music video though."

"But what did you wish to see, Lady Malveaux? Something formal? Something casual? Something in between?"

[Faily]

Byron listened and although the response had been a bit flippant he judged the answer as truthful in it’s way. He glanced at the younger Sith and then back to the purple light and said, “I think I understand that does not seem all that dissimilar from what we have been taught. Learn from our masters and then forge our own truth.”

“I thank you, that was informative.”

"I am delighted that you find some nuggets of wisdom in my words, young man. Indeed, I have done my share of studies of the Jedi too in my years, and I find it most enlightening to see both sides of the spectrum. Your good Master Orgus has been such a good study too."

The purple light seemed a little brighter for a moment as he surveyed the young students around him. "Pray tell, may I learn your names?"

[Ares Pax]

"Ares Pax." Ares' reply was clear, and he glanced between the sith gathered, curious whether any of them might show a sign of recognition at the last name. Meanwhile, he picked up a glass of red liquid, looking at it uncertainly.

[Mir]

Mir had already introduced himself so he didn't bother doing that again. Instead he just stared at the sith, his eyes quite open. He didn't have smiles for them, not after what Murah had told him.

"In a music video? Really?" Drascovina smirked. "Perhaps you missed your true calling by becoming a Jedi, Silas."

She considered a moment, then nodded. "Something formal. If it is worth making a public appearance, it is worth being formal. Casualwear is for riffraff."

"Byron, if I did not mention it earlier," he responded.

"In a music video? Really?" Drascovina smirked. "Perhaps you missed your true calling by becoming a Jedi, Silas."

She considered a moment, then nodded. "Something formal. If it is worth making a public appearance, it is worth being formal. Casualwear is for riffraff."

"Formal wear it is then." Silas replied, though he didn't exactly agree on the idea that casual weaar was for riff raff. Still he began to scroll through a few of the designs he had that matched popular trends, long, flowing garments many of which resbemleved robes in some fashion. Many were in subdued tones, though severalweren't and some were even quite daring.

He wasn't really expecting a positive reaction, but then the girl probably didn't give many people positive reactions. It was easy to tell she thought herself above the common folk. Still in for a penny, in for a pound, and anyways this was a learnign experience, Master Ogrus had encouraged that.

Frowning, lady Drascovina studied the images. "Lame. Lame. Ick. Lame. Is that one for tweens? Ugh." Still, she did pause thoughtfully once or twice. And gave him an arch look at the last one.

"Hmmmm..." Reaching out, she flipped quickly through the images. "Could you make this one in a color that would suit me better? A dark red, perhaps." She was a Sith, after all.

"And here I thought you enjoyed blues and greens." He replied a amused smile making it's way onto his lips. It seemed to be what she wore most times.

"But yes, that's something I could do. Perhaps a shade to compliment your fan?" His eyes drifted down to the red and black item in her hand.

[Eir]

The purple light seemed a little brighter for a moment as he surveyed the young students around him. "Pray tell, may I learn your names?"

“Eir,” the girl answered.

"And here I thought you enjoyed blues and greens." He replied a amused smile making it's way onto his lips. It seemed to be what she wore most times.

"But yes, that's something I could do. Perhaps a shade to compliment your fan?" His eyes drifted down to the red and black item in her hand.

"Indeed." She snapped it open authoritatively. It was made of a fine fabric, colored in blood red through black, the one fading gradually to the other.

She held it out to him. "You may examine it, if it will help." The fan had the same scent she wore, something floral, but with an underlying spiciness.

"Thank you, that would be helpful." He replied easily, flipping the page of his datapad to a blank form, he offered it to her in much the same way.

"Are you willing to fill this out for me? I'll need most if these measurements if the gown is to fit." He asked, before extending his hand for the fan.

[Faily]

Lord Destrus looked to each in turn for their names. "Mir. Ares Pax. Byron. Eir..." once again he seemed to linger on the half-Arkanian for a moment longer than the others. "All such promising students. Master Orgus must be very proud."

"In fact..." the purple light turned to the Jedi Master. "I think I want to invite these bright young minds to the Sith temple at the Vergence tomorrow."
