The Scenic Route (D3, Early Afternoon)

[Zanja]

Zanja, at least, was familiar with the term 'gank.' But Mir could figure out code-switching on his own.

"How?" she asked bluntly, with the straw of her juice drink still between her teeth.

[Esla Tor]

She gave an alternating glance between Zanja and Mir, wondering if she was trying to pick on Mir once more. With that looming in her thoughts, she decided to turn her attention to the monuments and rose from her seat slightly to get a better look before they could pass them.

[Mir]

"It's certainly possible you can go back there some day, Mir," she said with some confidence. "But I hope you do so when you have learned more and grown a little more."

"I'll... do something about it, but not before I am ready." he nodded at Farissa. "I swear it by old Bonewhisker." there was a strange determination in the young farghul's voice.

"How?" she asked bluntly, with the straw of her juice drink still between her teet

"By flying there with a ship, duh?" Mir flopped one if his ears down while the other remained alert.

[Zanja]

"I mean after you get there. You got your ship. You land it on the planet. Then what happens?" " Zanja nibbled on her straw. "I guess you got a while to figure it out."

[Mir]

"Things happen to bad people. I'll figure it out when I get there. It worked out for Guanyin." He left out the fact that Guanyin was not an actual person, but a legendary figure in farghul lore that was known for her bravery nearing foolishness. Yet, she almost always managed somehow. Gyanyin had become farghul nickname for persistent, hard to kill isopods on Doloran.

"And then I'll set everyone free. Everyone." Mir nodded with determination.

[Esla Tor]

Esla blinked at the mention of Gyanyin and glanced off toward the view once more at nothing in particular but at someone who was looking at her surely in the distance from afar. What a strange name.

She eventual looked back at Mir with a small encouraging smile. "I think that's a good goal to have. That will encourage others and give them hope if you are successful."

[Zanja]

"I like the last part of the plan, anyway." Zanja clearly had doubts about the earlier, more Underpants Jawa-style steps. "Who the frak is Gyanyin, though?"

[Mir]

"She's a farghul..uh.. hero. A spirit. A hero that once was, and that can be again. She's very very brave." Mir nodded knowingly. "Alas, she always tries to do too much. Like when she tried to steal the Orbs of Lanka from the Bonewhiskers she got greedy and tried to carry them all, one in each paw, clutching one in her tail and one in her mouth. Then she tripped as she was running down the Evertree and two of the orbs broke. And that's how the river of stars was born. Or so goes the legend. The fragments of the orbs became the stars. My mom told me all of these stories." he added, sounding a little sad.

"Oh and once Gyanyin decided to host a huge party among the.. uh... gods? Those who have been before and are still around us? Anyway, she was afraid that the gods would fight, so she split them in three rooms in her house. But then most of the gods did not bother, for Gyanyin is not very formidable spirit. So Shadowclaw... uh, spirit of hunt, pretty important spirit, ended in a room on her lonesomes. And the story goes that ever since Shadowclaw has despised Gyanyin."

[Esla Tor]

Esla raised her brows at the chronicled farghul mythology. It was probably a bit hard to follow along and wrap her head around. However, she did start to wonder if anything they saw or heard would be part of the trials. Perhaps she should be paying more attention, it would be embarrassing to miss the answer if it was in front of them all along. "Oh...uhm. It's still nice that she tried to make these three rooms. Did all of these spirits eventually find peace?"

[Mir]

"Uh, well the story goes that Shadowclaw is still chasing Gyanyin for leaving her alone. But Gyanin is crafty as she is daring and keeps eluding her. There are several stories of how Gyanin manages to squirm out of traps set by Ghostclaw. She, uh, dallied with Vesna, a spirit of spring and such. Vesna agreed to hide her so that Shadowclaw wouldn't find it. And that is why sometimes the spring's late. Because Vesna is busy... err... hugging Gyanin in the house of seasons." Mir sounded bit flustered as he explained the farghul mythos.

Esla gave Mir a wide blink at that. She was sure it was in galaxy common but she didn't understand it. Instead, she merely gave Mir polite smile and a few nods before her gaze slowly drifted to the view of the city they were passing by. It seemed her attention stayed her indefinitely.

[Mir]

"Uh..." Mir began to explain himself but figured that she might not be that interested in the weird farghul beliefs. After all, here Force was the only thing that mattered. Coughing softly, he too looked out, though making a point to chose a different direction. an awkward silence followed.
