EVENT: Knightfall (D4, EE)

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Oh. Well if you aren't tired of our antics too then I'd love to stay for a meal." She moved over towards the small Ithorian at the back and gave her a warm smile. "Hi, my name's Zizzy."

[Hatoful GM]

The Ithorian child seemed a bit quicker than her parents. She brightened a bit, both mouths smiling. "Glade." She said, putting one hand to her chest. "Do you speak Ithorian?" Her rumble was noticeably more high-pitched than her father's. Unfortunately, she lacked a translation device.

The father began walking slowly back towards the kitchen. "Who is staying? And of those, how many eat bugs?"

[Ares Pax]

A lud grumbling noise escaped from Ares' stomach, and he tried to hold it back futilely. "Erm... I guess I can join as well. Glad you're not hurt."

[Taime Jorel]

Turning back to the Ithorians and bowing, though he desperately wanted to go to that fish stand with Eir and Mir, he said "Of course. We merely didn't want to disrupt your day. I am Taime."

At the mention of bugs, he kept his countenance just barely. "Uhh. What kind of bugs?" He asked, trying to practice his diplomat skills.

[Eir]

Curiosity piqued, "I'll try some bugs," the terrestrial kind or the seafood kind, either way Eir was looking forward to the experience.

The Ithorian's shoulders rose and fell. "We have Ithorian bugs, for the traditional style. Some local bugs, too. They're pretty good that way. If you really can't handle bugs, we're trying some fish that have a somewhat similar taste." He shrugged again.

[Esla Tor]

Esla let out a relieved sigh once the situation was defused and remained behind as the padawans chatted with each other. She stood by the periphery of the group with a small smile on her lips. At the very least, she could pretend like she was included in the gang, right? Away from the capital, it seemed that they were more together for a reason than happenstance.

She dipped her head in greeting to the Ithorians and looked rather bemused at the mention of bugs. Personally, she'd rather not have bugs but was too polite to say anything. Eventually, did eventually find her out. "Uhm...I'll have some fish..."

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy turned to the owner. "Ooh, ooh. I like bugs!" She smiled back at the daughter.

Hello Glade, I do speak Ithorian! My grandmother made me learn it, and some other languages, when I was growing up on Mikkia.

Byron smiled that things were going in a positive direction and then left.

Taime decided there was no time like the present to try new things. "I will try a few bugs and some fish. I've never tried either."

Really, Silas had lost his appetite for the most part after the exchange, and bugs didnt do much to bring it back. So with a polite wave to the others he headed towards the door.

"I'm heading back to the hotel. Later."

[Zanja]

"Sounds great." Zanja grinned at the proprietor. 'Ithorian food' had been a little worrisome, since she thought she remembered Ithorians could be primarily herbivores--they sure liked plants, anyway--but bugs? Heck yeah. "I'll try whatever's good. Thanks. Just realized I'm starving."

Maybe that was why Mir and Byron were so cranky, come to think of it. Even if they didn't have two hearts to keep fueled, hunger could put anyone in a bad temper.

She gave a curious look to Zizzy and the littlest Ithorian. There was still too much tension in the room for Zanja to get a good read on the youngling through the Force, and she couldn't understand the Ithorian language (though it was kind of soothing to listen to), so all she had at her disposal to make sense of the situation was body language.

Taime heard Silas's goodbye and turned to wave at him. "See you later Silas!"

[Hatoful GM]

The father nodded, the mother rising to help him. "Okay, some with bugs, some with fish. Maybe we will have some bugs on the side. Just in case. Coming right up!" That may have been a little optimistic, given the slow pace that they moved towards the kitchen.

Meanwhile, the Ithorian girl practically bounced. "Oh! It's very nice to meet you, Zizzy! I've never met anyone from Mikkia before." She hummed. "You and your friends are Jedi, aren't you?" It was possible that others would pick up the word 'Jedi'.

[Taime Jorel]

Taime turned at the word Jedi, realizing the little one must be talking about them. He found himself wishing he'd spent more time on languages and less on training. To Zizzy, he says, "Is she asking about us?"

[Eir]

Eir understood about half of what the girl said, but picked up enough context to know that she was asking about them being Jedi. She nodded to Taime, focusing on trying to understand the girl.

Zizzy waved to Byron and Silas as they left. She nodded to Taime. "She sure is Taime." "Well Glade, I'm glad I'm your first Mikkian! My friends and I, we're all training to be Jedi. Right now we are trainees, hoping to become Jedi Padawans."

"Hey, Esla, there are a couple of seats here, want to join?" After asking, he slowly extended his senses, trying to pick up the individual he sensed earlier... but it was not to be.

"Mmm! I had a feeling that I would meet Jedi." Glade hummed brightly. "It's good that you came.
And that you're going to eat bugs with us! Do you want to try some local bugs, or some Ithorian bugs? They're both good!"

"They will try both bugs, Glade." The father called from the kitchen. "I hope you do not mind my daughter. She has a very active imagination."

[Zanja]

"Yeah, it's fine." The promise of food was having a positive effect on Zanja's temper (though not even tasty bugs could completely cure Resting Zabrak Face), and she sounded almost airy as she reassured the proprietor. "What was that about Jedi?"
