EVENT: Knightfall (D4, EE)

[Byron Mik]

Once the Sith have left he said to his fellow trainees, “That went just as the Force meant it to.” He added to the ithorians, “I apologize for your treatment this evening, I hope no one was seriously harmed?”

Byron tried to be reassuring for those that were terrified and said, “The Jedi are here to protect you from such bullying.”

[Taime Jorel]

Drascovina's eyebrows arched noticeably. "Is a display of power something that would interest you, Byron?" She smirked. "It would interest me as well."

She snapped her fingers; one of her minions brought her a small, stylish handbag. Fishing through it for a few moments, she pulled out a number of credits, which she deposited on the Ithorians' table. "Sith do pay their debts. All of them. Something to remember." Her white teeth flashed at the Jedi.

Again, she eyed Taime, smiling. "Thank you for the warning. Has anyone told you that you're rather handsome for a non-human? Pity. In any case, allow me to give you a warning as well." The smile vanished suddenly, the blue eyes going ice-cold. "Watch your back."

She spun on her heel. The same confident strut that brought her to the group brought her to the door of the restaurant. The rest of the Sith followed, except for the one which scrambled ahead to open the door for her worshipfulness.

Happy as any teenager can be when poking at another, he merely cheerily waved as they all departed, the picture of comfort.

When they left, he sagged just a tinch and turned to Eir. "If I ever start sounding like that, please twist my ear or tickle me or something. I couldn't bear it."

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy gave Taime and Mir and smile, nodded to Byron and moved over to the Ithorians. "If you don't mind my asking, did they just come in and start making trouble? Or did something happen that got the Sith all riled up?"

She didn't have much experience with Sith, but those ones just seemed like nasty bullies.

"Punch to the face tends to straighten most folks out as well," Byron added towards Taime with his carefree smile.

[Mir]

"Yeah and then they come and gank you while you sleep. It's a risky plan to sort problems out. Now, shiv to the neck and then we'are talking." Mir wrapped his paw into a fish and made a cutting move. "Good night, sleep tight kriff-butt."

[Taime Jorel]

Taking a small breath, he turned to Mir and the others. "It might be wise if perhaps we changed subjects. I am sure these people have had enough...excitement for one night."

And talking about killing people with a knife to the neck may give some folks interesting ideas about the Jedi. He thought to himself.

[Byron Mik]

"Yeah and then they come and gank you while you sleep. It's a risky plan to sort problems out. Now, shiv to the neck and then we'are talking." Mir wrapped his paw into a fish and made a cutting move. "Good night, sleep tight kriff-butt."

Byron was more stern and said, “Mir, that is talk not becoming a Jedi. Maybe you need to return to our conclave and meditate on proper course of action.”

Byron frowned, he would have to speak to the Masters about that outburst.

[Mir]

"Punch to face, dagger to neck. What's the difference?" he hissed, ears flat against his skull. "Also, frikk you, your parents and their parents. And anyone else named Byron, just in case. I'm out." With that the farghul turned to leave...

and would make his exit unless stopped!

[Zanja]

"And talking about showing everybody 'the power of the Force' hand in hand with some Sith is so much more 'becoming'?" Zanja rolled her orange-gold eyes.

"Hey, anyway, if these people are okay, we should either order some food or get out of their shop." Without really thinking about it, she looked over at the little restaurant's menu her stomach rumbling quietly.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy looked around at the scene, quite horrified. She turned back to the Ithorians. "It seems as though something unusual is happening to force users today. I'm sorry, maybe you would just like all of us to go away and leave you alone?"

[Eir]

The diminutive Jedi-to-be sidled over to the agitated kitty, "hey," she murmured, "he's not worth it." Eir shot an angry glance at Byron, this was just like when they were supposed to be helping Jaric, the older boy taking it upon himself to tell others what they should be doing. "You hungry?" she attempted to distract Mir.

"And talking about showing everybody 'the power of the Force' hand in hand with some Sith is so much more 'becoming'?" Zanja rolled her orange-gold eyes.

"Hey, anyway, if these people are okay, we should either order some food or get out of their shop." Without really thinking about it, she looked over at the little restaurant's menu her stomach rumbling quietly.

“We are the Power of the Force, Zanja, the Force is a great power that we use in pursuit of aiding others. You don’t have to twist everything to be cynical,” he said calmly to the younger trainee.

“But that is a discussion for another time we should make sure the people are okay and then leave them to their evening. We are done here.”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Hey guys, Meli is right we shouldn't fight." Silas offered with a look around the room. "We're being just as much a nusiance as the Sith were if we keep this up."

He glanced at Mir an offered a smile. "I think I understand what you're saying, Mir and I won't stop you if you want to leave. It might be a good idea anyways, some of us should talk with the Masters and explain what happened."

"I'll go if everyoen else wants to stay and eat." He added after noticing Eir's satement, no reason for all of them to miss dinner.

“Coddling him for being rude is not helping him get better, Eir,” he said with a shrug.

Seeing that no one was injured he opened the door for his fellow Jedi in-training, since it seemed it was time to leave.

Taime, seeing an ally in keeping the peace in Zizzy, felt a surge of gratitude. "I don't know about you all, but I'm a bit hungry. We should try some of the local food. That's why we're here, right? Learning and experiencing and understanding. " There was a slight emphasis on the last words that might be evident to some.

"Do any of you want to join me?" He said. He also raised his eyebrows at Eir and gave a little head tilt, indicating she and Mir could come along with them.

[Zizzy Roosh]

"That sounds like a great idea Taime. Let's leave these nice people to their evening...er, what do you call meals when it's the same lighting all day?" She pondered for a moment then shrugged. "Doesn't matter. The point is, yes I'd be delighted! Let's explore."

[Byron Mik]

“I agree, but I am actually in the mood for a place down the street but you all enjoy yourselves. Just try and keep out of trouble… let me know how the food is,” he offered holding the door for any that wanted to leave.

He detested cliques and really even if they all stayed, he would feel more at ease somewhere else away from all the… angst.

OOC: Confused is Taime insisting they stay or go elsewhere... Byron is on team street seafood down the way.

[Eir]

"I was thinking we could go look for this toydarian vendor that we got some fish from earlier, it's pretty good," Eir offered, ignoring Byron's comments. He could be a frustrating know-it-all, but this needling coming from him seemed more self-righteous than usual. Whatever had gotten up Mir's nose was probably affecting Byron as well, and it seemed Zizzy had sensed something Eir hadn't.

[Hatoful GM]

The Ithorians were a bit slow to react to all of this, heads swiveling back and forth as various people spoke. Still, finally, one of them rose to their feet.

"Thank you." He (probably) rumbled in a deep voice; a device he wore around his throat translated into Basic. "We were afraid they would do violence to us. Especially to our daughter, who drew their attention somehow." Slowly, he pointed to a small Ithorian towards the rear of the shop.

He looked back and forth, blinking. "Do you not wish to stay for a meal?" It seemed as though they didn't quite understand what was going on.

Byron reached out with the Force to sense the daughter. The lingering anger from the arguments and the Sith was all he found and he released his grip on her presence before he gave in to that darkness.
