Mildly worried for Eir's ability to breathe under so many kids, Taime said "Yeah! Eir usually has great adventure plans. Where do you think we should go Eir?"

Somewhat reluctantly, the kids stepped back from Eir, giving her enough space to breath and speak. Still, they looked at her expectantly.

The girl pretended to think about it, expression exaggerated, “how does everyone feel about a trip to Brickland?” The successful building block company that definitely wasn’t an expy of a certain famous Danish brand, was currently doing an exhibition on spaceflight.

"Bricks are cool." Replied the edgy swordsman.

"Oooooooooohhhhhh..." That got an approving chorus.
Except for one. "What Brickland?" The Mon Calamari asked in a small voice.

Taime was right there with the little Mon Calamari. Maybe he could make that work? "I don't know either, but I'm sure Eir knows all about it!" He said, looking at the little squidling.

"All right, this way then," Eir gathered up the kids and pointed them in direction of Brickland, where an afternoon of letting their imaginations run rampant with colourful building blocks awaited them. Followed by deep fried ice cream (and doughnuts for the Mon Calamari), of course.

Taime went to bring up the back of the line, standing next to the little Mon Calamari. "I'm kind of glad you said doughnuts, cause I like doughnuts better too." He whispered, in a fake conspiratorial voice to the squidling.

The mon calamari perked up a little. "Yeah? They're good. Especially ones with cinnamon on them."
She deflated again, just a little. "I just can't eat cold things. Ice cream sounds good, but..." She shrugged.

He nods. "I know, its just sooo cold. Plus, when donuts are fresh and warm? They smell so good."

Again, the Mon Calamari girl brightened for a few moments before subsiding again. Still, it seemed her mood was on an upward trajectory.
"I'm not used to this place, I guess." She sighed. "I knew it would be different. But it's really, really different."

Taime nods along. "I know. I didn't realize so many people would be here. I'm used to just a few people, so its taken me a little while to get used to it."
He said with a soft smile. "Maybe we can figure it out together."

The girl made a soft burbling sound before smiling up at the young man. "Okay. Yeah."
Again, the burbling sound. "Ummm... where are you from?"

Taime seemed to be doing well with the young Mon Cal, so Eir left them to it, steering the group towards their destination.
The Brickland Discovery Centre was a large building with a pair of massive version of the toy's trademark 'human figures' flanking the doorway, their arms raised to form a welcoming arch. The group were waved through the ticket gates, their trip had been pre-arranged, and they found themselves in a vast lobby.
In one direction was an indoor playground with slides and things to climb on, and the oversized bricks for the really young kids, opposite that was a cafe. Ahead of them, three entrances led to the main attractions: there was a massive exhibit of spaceships built from bricks behind glass, a '4D' cinema where the audience was blasted with puffs of wind and jets of water and the seats moved a little, there were three rides (a knights and castles themed one, a pirate jungle adventure ride, and a ghost train for the older kids), there was even a factory tour where you could watch the bricks being manufactured.
There were also several play areas where the kids could build to their heart's content, each with a different theme, including an area where kids built mini race cars and could run them on the provided track.

Re: Adventures in Jedisitting (D3EA)
If Eir expected that something like this would appeal to Jedi children... she was 100% correct. The little group oohed and aahed as they looked around.
One of the young boys tugged on her sleeve. "Where should we go first? Or... maybe we should do two groups?"
Behind, where Taime was, the Mon Calamari girl looked up at him. "Do you think we could go to the building room?" She asked in her incredibly soft voice.

"There's three of us," Eir pointed to Ares and Taime, "so if you guys want to pair up, we can manage that. Does anyone want to go on the ghost train?" she asked the kids.

In a soft voice he says, "I'm from pretty far away. I haven't seen my planet since I was a baby. But the Jedi have taken good care of me, so that helps."
Looking around, he was desperately grateful Eir had been here and planned this. He wouldn't have come up with anything nearly so cool.
He nodded. "Yes, we can. And anyone else who wants to go to the building room can come with us. The only rule is you're not allowed to make fun of anything someone else is building or knock it down. "

Re: Adventures in Jedisitting (D3EA)
After some whispered consultation, three of the children, including the Devaronian boy, wanted to go with Eir to the ghost train. Besides the Mon Calamari girl, a small human boy who'd paled a bit at the mention of ghosts went to join Taime.
"It's not too scary, is it?" The Devaronian boy asked Eir.
...
Over by Taime, the two students looked somewhat awkwardly at each other, then up to Taime for guidance.

"I'll be right there with you," Eir promised, "courage isn't about not being afraid, it's about standing up to our fears and knowing we can face them."
