The Show [D1 Mid Evening, Dealer's Den, open]

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Um, I was thinking Valley Nectar." One might recall the caffeine laden soft drink that was the drink of choice for young gamers.

"Unless they have something tasty I haven't tried before." Was that a sparkle of mischief in his eyes? Maybe.

[Zanja]

"Sounds good. Let's see what they got." Zanja grinned and made to follow Silas toward the counter.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

He lead the way, though it took him a bit longer to navigate the crowd and arrive at the bar as he had less experience.

Arriving, he tried to look casual, should they try something this alcohol? Would they sell them alcohol? "What do you think?" He ask Zanga as he looked over the bar. "See anything that looks good?"

[Zanja]

"Dunno." Zanja caught up to him and cast a jaded golden eye over the bar back. "Juice?" She would have been a little surprised to know Silas was thinking furtive thoughts of liquor, since she considered him a fairly serious and 'good' kid. Not seriously appalled, no, but surprised, yes. "Maybe with one of those dumb little paper parasols on top?"

"Juice it is then, with a frilly umbrella for the, Lady!" He confirmed with a flourish, before waving over a bartender to place a order. Juice wasn't Valley Nectar, but it was still pretty good. The exchange didn't take too long, though the bartender might of rolled her eyes a little when asked foe a paper umbrella for the juice.

Moment's later Silas returned with two plastic cups full of a bright orange liquid, one of which was sporting a lovely pink paper umbrella. "Here you are, Di" He offered the drink with the paper umbrella to his friend.

[Zanja]

"Thanks." Zanja smirked at the little umbrella. "Cheers, Silas." She raised her cup to him in a sort of toast.

"Hey. How come all of us have nicknames but you don't, anyway?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Cheers, Di!" He raised his own cup in kind before taking a drink.

"I suppose no one has ever given me one." He explained after a few moments. "And it would be weird to give myself one, wouldn't it?"

[Zanja]

"I guess. You could sell it if you seriously wanted to, though." Thinking about it, some of the kids with cool noms-de-guerre she'd run with back in the day had probably nicknamed themselves and made it stick. "D'you want one, or do you like being the one guy in your world who has a proper name?" she asked with a gravelly laugh.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I dunno? I've never really given it much thought..." He took a sip of his juice sans gin. "I suppose I wouldn't mind one if someone gave me one." His eyes sparkles a bit, perhaps with excitement. "Why? Did you have something in mind, Di?"

[Zanja]

"I'm not good at that--"junk, no, she mentally revised slightly--"stuff. I gotta think about it." Zanja raised her eyebrows at Silas. "You told those kids you could only do one per day, and I don't have as much practice."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

That got a rather guilty looking smile from Silas. "I might of been bending the truth a little when I said that." He admitted after a few moments. "It's not always easy to come up with nicknames after all, and I didn't want all of them begging me for one all at once."

He flashed the Zabrak girl a smile. "Don't worry about it too much though, one will come when it comes."

[Zanja]

"Smart." Zanja smirked. "Gotta manage expectations." She tipped her cup in a salute. "Anyway, I'll give it some thought. Wouldn't want to stick you with one name, and then think of a way better one the next day."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"That's easy enough, but the golden rule of nick names is no regrets." He finished the sentence with a few firm nods. "Or is it don't second guess yourself?" There was a lingering pause. "well, one of those two!"

"Still, I'll look forward to it."

[Zanja]

"There can be two rules," Zanja says with a gravelly chuckle. "So, how d'you feel about going up toward the front of the crowd? You ought to get a good look at what all these people are wearing for your design project."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Sure!" Silas offered with a grin, it would be awesome to get to see the cute girls and short skirts up close. "If you don't mind at least." di had seemed to not want to get too much attention after all.

[Zanja]

"Yeah, I don't mind. Let's go." Zanja grinned back. "We'll steal their moves for O'vala."

Besides, at the front of the crowd she'd be even less noticeable, if anything, with all those people crowded together wearing much more eye-catching stuff than she was.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Alright!" With that the young man took off towards the stage, trying to to push too many out of his way on the journey. Though there was plenty 'sorrys' and 'excuse mes' along the way.

[Zanja]

Zanja was considerably less apologetic to the people she pushed past, though in fairness to her she was also somewhat subtler about doing so. "Whoop! Made it!"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah!" He flashed a grin at his compatriot before turning his eyes towards the stage, coming had been a great idea! "I'm glad I came, but coming with you is alot better then coming on my own. I wouldn't know what to do if I was here on my own."

"So, thanks!"

[Zanja]

"Hah. My pleasure." Zanja returned a toothy smile. "You should get out more. Anyway, since we're up here..."
