The Show [D1 Mid Evening, Dealer's Den, open]

"It's different." Silas offered taking a sip of his drink. "Like, I could make you an outfit like one of the girls from Froushyyyk pretty easy. It's harder to think of something on your own that looks cool."

Did that make any sense? "Still, no harm in trying!" He offered with a grin, taking note of the way Di's eye wandered. "If I do well though, maybe I can make something that stands out a bit for you?" He offered with a smile, probably misreading her intentions. "That way you have something to wear to the next concert you go to?"

[Zanja]

"Uhh. I'm good, but thanks." Even as she swayed to the music, Zanja's shoulders hunched a little, involuntarily, at the thought of being in front of a big crowd in an outfit that 'stood out' like the FrouShyyk costumes. "Do you like making that kind of stuff? I guess it's more creative than armor."

"If your sure, though I think you'd look good in something like that." It certainly couldn't make her look worse. "I like making all kinds of things." He replied thoughtfully. "Stuff like this can be fun every now and again, so can the kinda stuff you see in video games and comic books though. I'd like to try my hand at some of the costumes in Force Caliber 6 someday."

He chuckled. "I just need to find more people I can dress up I suppose. It's boring just to make things for me."

[Faily]

The news from FrouShyyyk had been well-recieved by the crowd. "Now let's continue this party! Woooo!!!" Music began blaring again, and the area infront of the stage was filled with dancing people wielding colorful glow-sticks.

[Zanja]

Zanja reached up with her free hand and caught an errant flying glowstick that would otherwise have bopped her right between the horns. "So now we do that concert thing, where you try to dance and drink at the same time, huh?" she said, looking from the cup in one hand to the glowy toy in the other.

"I guess." Silas mused, looking over the crowd, before shooting the Zabrak girl a smile. "Have I told you I am a terrible dancer?" He asked as he began to try and get a feel for the beat. "But I suppose the main point is having fun!" The young man finished finished, begining to dance in earnest. He really wasn't very good, but he at least managed no to spill his drink.

Zanja was a bit more coordinated, managing some pretty smooth moves in addition to protecting her drink. It might not be enough on its own to disprove the contention of certain gentlemen adventurers that Jedi couldn't dance; then again, Zanja was not a Jedi yet.

And, surprisingly enough, she actually did seem to be having fun. The concert crowd was large, colorful, and indifferent enough that the subconscious fear of drawing too much attention faded from her mind and she could simply enjoy herself, playing around with the acid yellow afterimages the glowstick left in the dim house lighting.

"Aw, you're doing fine. Everybody's looking at the stage anyway!" She had to raise her voice to make herself heard over the strains of the next song.

Likely because said adventurers might conjecture it wasn't even dancing yet, but merely moving to the rhythm, dancing was something far more bold after all. Not that such things were really on Silas's mind in the least. After all, he was dancing, one might even go so far to say he was dancing with a girl. A prospect that occupied his mind far more then it probably should.

Still it was good to see Di having fun, and a smile was on his lips as she complemented him. "Yeah, but you're really good at this!" He replied his own voice raised to carry. "Are you sure you haven't done this before?"

Like they had speculated about before, the camera did indeed make some sweeps over the dancing crowd they had joined. So they probably got a few seconds of fame there.

[Zanja]

Having attention drawn to her own movements made Zanja rein in a bit, especially when the cam remote swept nearby--reflexively, she tossed her head to throw a curtain of straight black hair between her face and the little bot's field of view. However, this bit of self-consciousness isn't actually enough to spoil the mood. "Never said I hadn't," she replies, grinning with slightly serrated teeth.

Silas didn't mind that camera, well that or he simply didn't have luxurious dark hair to hide his face behind. Either way he didn't try to hide. It seemed like a silly thing to do.

"Keeping secrets, Di?" He replied a teasing smile on his lips. "That you actually love this type of dance music, and want to join Valee's dance group?"

[Zanja]

"O'vala has a dance group?" Zanja blinked. "Who's keeping secrets now?"

She swallowed the last gulp of her soft drink and scrunched up the flimsy cup in her hand. "Sure, it's not bad. I mean, I've been to shows down here before. I like seeing all the the people who come to these things."

"Well, she is forming a dance group." Silas corrected the Zabrak. "Did you want to join it? I could make you a feat outfit too!" Something probably told Di she would get a costume regardless of her answer.

"You should tell me the next time you go then!" Silas said with a grin. "It would be neat to go to more of these."

[Zanja]

"Uh. I don't know... I don't really like doing stuff in front of a load of people," Zanja admitted, fidgeting with her glowstick. "I'd rather be down here than up there." She flicked her gaze in the direction of the stage.

"If you like this, though, yeah, we could go to another one sometime. Sure." Her lips curve into a half-smile. "If we have time for concerts, once we're Padawans and all that."

"Ah, it's not like it would be for big shows. Just for fun." He offered Di a encouraging smile. "Still I think I understand, I'm more a backstage fellow. Maybe I can throw some sort of mask in with it though?" The last part was said thoughtfully.

"I bet concerts are hard as padawans." He conceded. "Especially if we're on back water worlds or something." Such thoughts were for later though. "Still I bet we can still manage some!"

[Zanja]

"A mask? What, like Revan?" Zanja asked. "You may call me... Dark Lord of the Dance!?" She broke into gravelly snickering.

"Anyway... I'll think about it," she added once she'd recovered. "Might just stick to the audience part of dance shows, though."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Revan more a mask?" Silas hadn't known that. "But no, more like a cloth mask, like a ninja wears?" It could look cool if done right. He couldn't help but join her in laughter a moment later though. "Okay, Miss Dancelord."

"How about this! I make it, and you decide after that? If you don't like it you don't have to wear it." HE grinned. "Either way, you won't have to join the dance troop."

[Zanja]

"Well... in the holomovie special, when Vera Hawke discovers Revan's tomb, the ghost has a mask." Zanja stepped closer so she could explain without yelling over the music, looking a bit sheepish. "I looked up Revan in the archives later 'cos I thought that was a cop-out, you know, not showing the face, but it turns out she really did wear one. Or he."

She shrugged. "Anyway. Sure. As long as I don't have to dance in front of anybody, right?" Her chuckle at this tried to sell itself as 'laughing it all off' and mostly succeeded, though it did have a certain nervous edge.

"How can they know if they wore a mask, but not if they had boobs?" Jedi robes weren't that concealing... Unless Revan was flatter then Valee. He shook his head dismissing that train of thought.

"Cool." He offered a smile. "Hopefully I'll have it done before we leave!" Finishing his drink, Silas glanced towards the bar. "Want something else to drink? My treat!"

[Zanja]

"Armor, I guess," Zanja shrugged, looking a bit bemused. She'd definitely never thought about Revan's assets before, and wasn't quite sure she wanted to do so now. She perked up a bit more at the offer of another drink. "Yeah, sure, what are you having?"
