Jaric managed a brief hint of a smile as he stepped forward, patting Orgus briefly on the shoulder.

He looked at Master Syo. "It is probably no surprise that I say this, but I will take on Ares Pax as my padawan. I have already guided him these past years in the study of Juyo, and it is only natural that I continue as his teacher and mentor." His gaze turned to Ares now, giving the young man a firm nod.

Master Syo nodded to the two of them and smiled to Ares. "Congratulations, Ares. You could ask for no finer master to help you follow in your parents footsteps."

Ares smiled, though he tried to rein it in. "Thank you Master." He glanced back at the holo. "It"s a legacy I wish to live up to... and take higher."

Corvin unfolded his arms long enough to point at Zanja. "Zanja." He grunted. "You're with me."

He folded his arms again. That was it, apparently.

“Huh.” Zanja nodded. “Okay. Good.”

She had a great many more thoughts than that, but she wasn’t much for speeches either.

Syo laughed warmly at the exchange. "It seems even Knight Corvin found someone to take on as a padawan. It is a good day. Best of luck to you both."

Murah smiled as it felt like it was her turn. "It is sometimes a difficult choice to make; choosing a padawan. I want the best for all of you, and one must realise that everyone has different needs. Sometimes, the need is a steadfast and patient teacher... at least that is how I feel. Mir," she looked to the cat-like student with a calm smile.

"I promise to you to be a good teacher and to guide you on your path, to help you and support you. There is much you have to learn still, but we know your heart is in the right place in that you wish to help people."

"And so it will be. May the Force be with you all," Syo nodded.

"There is one last matter, and that is the Sith defector, Kerren, who have joined you." He spoke with a more serious expression now, even if Kerren had not been allowed to be a part of this ceremony. "We have discussed the matter at length ever since we were notified after Auratera, and while there are some voices on the council that believe him to be a potential danger, the consensus is that we should not turn him away to be left on his own when he has chosen to come to us."

"I'm sure some of you might want to have the pleasure of giving him the news that he will be welcome to come to Coruscant, where I will take him under my wing to help him adjust into the Order - so that he too will be a Jedi like you have now become."

Zizzy seemed pretty pleased with the outcome for everyone, especially Mir, and gave Kerren an encouraging smile. "Good luck to you Kerren, may the force be with you."

It felt like an auspicious start to their careers as Jedi, a new beginning. She wondered about the vision from the day before. Was that normal? Had anyone else seen it or just their class?

Eir, on the other hand, seemed angry, and impatient to leave.

Byron nodded and said, "Kerren is in good hands, I look forward to working with him for the betterment of the Galaxy."

Syo chuckled and smiled to Byron. "It is our hope that it will be so. We will have to trust in the Force to show him the way as well."

The Council-member looked to the masters and gave a bow. "Be proud of this fine group of Jedi you have guided. Today is a good day. I will leave you to the new duties that lie before you all now." He looked to everyone gathered with a kind expression. "May the Force be with you all. Always."

And with that, the transmission ended.

"I guess I'll meet my master soon then." O'vala smiled to the others, cause she had totally been graceful when her turn had come. It just hadn't been written about.

She crossed her arms and looked to the ceiling. "Corellia? Am I going to be talking to Sith all the time?"

Taime thought his heart might burst out of his chest. They were all staying together. But...Eir didn't look happy. Maybe she hadn't wanted that.

He sighed to himself. We'll figure it out. We have time.
