Byron replied, “Of course, the line will be wide open. Stay in touch and if you encounter anything dangerous let me know I can probably lock them behind a bulkhead and if not retreat. May the Force be with you.”

When Eir agree, Silas took off towards Grey Event, it shouldn't take them too long to get there with the doors open, and with luck they wouldn't find any functioning droids along the way either.

Suspicious, but frankly too cold to argue the point, Eir nodded and followed the others to Grey Event.

As Byron tried to reroute the power from the lower levels, the controls were against him. "Warning: Blue Taurus is Gold Perpendicular Priority."

The others though encountered no droids on their way. It seemed those in pods had not been activated just because of the power. And the elevator was functioning too now!

"Going up?" He asked the ladies, as he moved to open the elevator doors. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to use it, but everythign seemed to be in fairly good working order. So it should be safe enough.

Byron worked to see if he could Override the systems or figure out just was going on and why it was a priority.

Zanja was a bit suspicious of the elevator--it would be a terrible place to get trapped, that was for sure--but... "Yeah, why not." She hopped in with Silas and the others.

Byron spoke over the comm or internal communications, if he could, “I am trying to lock down whatever is going on in Blue Taurus, but if I can’t you may lose power here shortly. I will be sure to warn you before it goes out.”

Byron moved to pull up a system control to see if he could monitor his team through the internal systems to track their progress as he worked to thwart the system.

"..." Silas sighed slightly as he stepped out of the elevator.

"Lets take the service ladder up."

[Eir]

“Good call, if I’m going to freeze to death, I’d rather it not be trapped in an elevator.” She indicated for Silas to go ahead and that they would follow.

It wouldn't take long to climb the ladder, and wind up at the door they'd stopped at yesterday. Hopefully this time the door would actually be open, and they wouldn't need to try and force it with a fire axe. "You know, it's kinda weird that we haven't found anybodies."

“If this is some kind of vessel, perhaps they abandoned it,” Eir suggested, “Blue Taurus is probably the engine, that’s why it’s drawing so much power.”

"Green Obtuse. Green Obtuse." The computer-voice intoned in a warning.

Meanwhile, the others had traversed the elevator's maintaince ladder with ease, and had now returned to the door of Grey Event, which was opened thanks to the earlier works of overriding the systems. It did seem to be like a command bridge of a ship, though all the controls and panels did not seem to have been made to suit humanoids like themselves.

Byron spoke over the internal comms, "So good news, I think I overrode the system. Not so great news, it keeps warning me about Green Obtuse. I am going to assume that is bad. We need some eyes on what is going on down there."

"So we need to take the elevator down there?" Silas asked as he glanced around the bridge? Maybe he would see something of note?

"What do you two think?" He looked towards Eir and Zanja.

"I swear, if you gearheads accidentally blast us off in a bloody Gree ship..." Zanja shook her head, not sure whether to laugh or scowl.

Well, if this was the bridge, maybe there'd be some kind of command terminal that would make sense of what was going on. Or maybe the previous Republic researchers here conveniently left their notes behind...? A girl could hope.

Silas smirked. "I'm not really worried about blasting off in this ship, if it is a ship. I'd be more worried about whatever powerplant that's on this thing melting down ot something and blowing us all up."

"I mean the Gree had to abandon it for a reason after all, if it is a ship that is."

“Byron, if you’ve copied the logs, just shut it all down,” Eir preferred the dark over the possibility of the engine going critical.
