Exploration Unknown. (Day 5 LM, Jedi Temple)

It was a feeling he was rather used to, and a rueful smile made it's way onto his lips. some of the other kids would likely have a field day with this. With a shrugg mostly to himself he continued his exploration, peeking into the openings that jutted off of this main room to see if any were just adjoining rooms, or all were long hallways

Maybe there was a liabrary or something around her after all.

Silas had enough familiarity with Jedi temples that he would be able to estimate where the library was. There was a bit more debris in this section than in the previous ones. Bits of old crafted wood were scattered about.

A familiar burbling noise was heard. Silas would see one of the lemurs, staring at him from where it stood atop a small pile of junked electronics.

"Hi." Silas smiled at the Lemur. "Any of those work you think?" He asked as he moved closer to the junked electronics. His eyes movign over the pieces as his senses sought out anyspark of life withing the machines, as he moved alongside them. Sadly the dark was all that answered his call, and he had no want to pull on it.

He wasn't sure if any of them would ever work again, but it wouldn't hurt to try. We has a bit interested in what had happened here.

Burbling, the lemur hopped a few feet away.

It's not great, but it's not nothing. Most of the electronics were fairly generic, but Silas could get a few usable pieces, anyway. (Silas gains 40 credits of salvage).

Of special note, though, was a datapad. It was ancient, but still seemed functional, if only just.

"Huh, this looks neat." Silas murmured as he picked up the data pad. "Happen to see anything like this in other places around here?" The young man asked of the Lemur, though as always he didn't really expect an answer.

Putting the useful parts in his back back he picked up the datapad, and started to look over it, he didn't want to break it or anything by turning it on. If it proved to be in good enough shape though, turning it on he'd look at it's contents. Maybe it held some of the secrets to this place.

The lemur burbled and stared at him, tilting its head about ninety degrees.

Upon examination, the datapad would probably turn on just fine. It had probably suffered some amount of memory corruption. Only attempting to operate it would determine how extensive that was. Well, at least it wouldn't make things any worse.

"You have a really flexible neck, you know." Silas murmured to the Lemur. "I probably couldn't turn my head half that far." Not that he was going to try. Still he kinda wished he had brought some snacks he could share with the creature. Maybe if he came back?

Turning his concentration to the datapad he used the controls to bring it to life. Hopefully what files on it weren't just static and noise.

A quick study indicated that the datapad belonged to a student. From how long ago wasn't clear. Most of the data was unreadable, at least without better equipment, but the last entry in a journal came up quickly.

I failed.

I didn't know it would be so hard. They didn't tell us what we'd be doing. They didn't tell me what I would face. But I guess it probably wouldn't have helped. I never would have expected her, anyway. Not again.

Master Kowuks hugged me, after. I failed, but maybe it's okay.

Huh, that was pretty interesting. Master Kowuks? He didnt recognize the name, but he wasnt really surprised. Maybe he could look it up in the database later?

Or at least examine the datapad more thoroughly on the last hope. Slipping it into his utility belt he rose to his feet, dusting himself off as he rose. "Well." He turned towards the lemur. "It was nice talking to you, but I think I'm going to go try and find the Masters room."

He offered the lemur a wave as he left the room, heading to where he believed the masters would keep their quarters. Making sure to map out his route along the way.

The lemur stared at him as he left. It didn't follow. Of course, they seemed to have ways of coming and going.

The master's rooms were back down one of the other corridors. Each master would have gotten their own room, unlike the students, but they weren't very large by way of consolation.

They did tend to offer views to the outside of the building, letting plenty of sunlight stream in.

they were pretty impressieve all things consider a good view, and spacious ot a certain degree... What silas really wanted to find though was something of use...
