Meet and Greet (D5, LA)

Byron turned to looked at the older Jedi to see their reaction. He glanced at Eir as well, since the Sith seemed to emphasize her out of the group.

[Eir]

Eir very much wanted to visit the temples near the vergence, but she certainly hadn't expected an invitation like this. Something about the Darth's continued attentions unsettled the petite Jedi, she was so accustomed to flying under the radar, it was strange to be noticed. She sipped the water Zizzy had given her and fell back on the thing she understood best: knowledge.

The half-arkanian would wait for the Master's to react to the Sith's offer before stepping closer and speaking, "Lord Destrus, I would like to know more about your studies of the Jedi."

"Thank you, that would be helpful." He replied easily, flipping the page of his datapad to a blank form, he offered it to her in much the same way.

"Are you willing to fill this out for me? I'll need most if these measurements if the gown is to fit." He asked, before extending his hand for the fan.

Drascovina gave one of her wintry smiles. "Of course." She said. Casually handing him the fan, she took the datapad in hand. Her fingers danced quickly over the pad.

She handed it back to him, still smiling. "Here you are." At a glance between the numbers and her figure, they looked about right. Perhaps she had them memorized?

Byron nodded to the purple lit visor and then melted back into the shadows to take up his place as guardian, a proper role for Jedi number four.

[Esla Tor]

Corvin grunted. "The first line of the Sith code begins peace is a lie." He chuckled darkly. "I wonder what they think about all of this."

"Uh," Esla murmured at first with a bit of surprise as she found out something new. "Oooh...I see..."

Then, in that case, there seemed to be more than one reason to be wary of the Sith. Perhaps it was silly to think for a moment that this would be a lasting peace between the two factions. "Either way, I think both sides would rather be here than not. I don't know how often Jedi and Sith talked before this."

[Orgus Din]

"In fact..." the purple light turned to the Jedi Master. "I think I want to invite these bright young minds to the Sith temple at the Vergence tomorrow."

Orgus straightened. "That's very kind of you, Lord Destrus." He said sturdily. "And it may be that some will want to attend. We have our own business tomorrow, though, so I don't think anyone can make any promises."

He nodded slowly. "But, if any do want to accept your hospitality, I'll escort them there myself." His tone was firm, as though the matter were already decided.

"Uh," Esla murmured at first with a bit of surprise as she found out something new. "Oooh...I see..."

Then, in that case, there seemed to be more than one reason to be wary of the Sith. Perhaps it was silly to think for a moment that this would be a lasting peace between the two factions. "Not often." Corvin said. There was a sort pause, then he shrugged. "Suits me fine."

It wasn't clear if that was because he disliked Sith, or disliked talking.

He really wasn't suprised, she'd seemed the type to have that sort of information on hand, if not memorized, which is why he hadn't asked to take her measurements himself. "It's lovely craftsmanship." He offered in return as he passed the fan back to Drascovina.

A casual glance was given to the numbers before he stored away his datapad. "I'll get started on it soon." He offered after a few moments. "I take it you'll be here at leas a day or two more?"

Master Orgus Din had spoken and that was that, no need to burden him with knowing that Byron had made plans to visit the temple on his own later in the day. Jedi Cop could be a loose cannon at times… but damn if he wasn’t good at his job.

Esla felt like nodding along but merely returned her attention to the Sith for appearance's sake, especially when a few names of familiar students were dropped by one. She looked at the Sith and questioningly at Corvin, that didn't seem like a typical Sith offering or generosity...what very little she knew of the Sith.

She lowered it, studying Silas with narrowed eyes. "And so I shall have a dress made by a Jedi. What a curious turn of events. Well." She smirked. "If it pleases me, perhaps I shall wear it. We shall see."

"They won't try anything with Orgus there." He growled. "But they're being more chummy than I like. Probably looking for weaknesses. Or trying to pluck one or two of you away."

"Indeed. A few days." She said, bringing the fan up to her lips for a few moments.

She lowered it, studying Silas with narrowed eyes. "And so I shall have a dress made by a Jedi. What a curious turn of events. Well." She smirked. "If it pleases me, perhaps I shall wear it. We shall see."

"Well, time will tell on that account." He would be rather suprised if she actually wore it though. "Even then, I don't think I'll end up with a chance to see if you do." They'd likely be leaving in short order after all. "Whatever the case I'll have it sent to the Hotel when it's done, Lady Malevaux"

[Taime Jorel]

Taime had been keeping his head down and staying quiet, trying to figure out the different vibes and motives going in the room. He hadn't had time when they last met the Sith to really look them over in any meaningful way and this might be his best chance. He wish he dared try to sense them or something, but he wasn't sure how much they would pick up.

So until then, he'd have to do this the old fashioned way: observation. He continued sipping a glass of water, keeping Eir in his eyes in case she looked too overwhelmed.

"No? But Lord Destrus did just invite all of you students to the Sith temple tomorrow. If that's enough time, you could bring it then."

"You will come, won't you?" She fluttered her eyelashes, just a little bit. The fan came up to cover a hint of a smirk that appeared on her lips.

"Oh, that almost sound like you would like to see me again, Lady Malevaux." Silas replied with a slight smile, fairly certain even if she said that such was the case, her purpose in doing so wouldn't be entirely friendly in nature.

"I'll consider it though, as a favor to you. I hadn't thought to attend before you asked. I have a load of things on my plate already." Which was the honest truth, Silas really didn't have any interest in Sith temples, and hadn't planned to go aat all.

Esla gave two blinks at that before she returned to regard the Sith with some caution. It may be strange for the Sith to try to take one of their members away. However, people who were attuned to the Force were hard to come by and taking disciples from the other camp might be a real trend. She gripped her hands together at that thought as her guard went up.

"Well, you must come. I can hardly wait." She paused, taking a sip of her wine. "What do you have, as you say, 'on your plate' tomorrow, anyway?"

"I have a few projects I'm working on at the moment, other then your dress that is. Then as Master Din pointed out we have our own itenarary for tomorrow. Add on to that a shopping trip I have planned, and a few other errands."

He shook his head. "My days can fill up rather quickly, if I'm not careful. I suppose It would help me confirm if I knew exactly when this outing was planned though."

His lips spread into a smile. "You wouldn't be able to venture a guess, would you?"
