Character Creation

1. After starting XP, each character gets an additional 120XP. Please note your starting XP spendings and your additional XP spendings separetely, and remember that Characteristics can only be increased with XP with your starting XP. (Note: you need not spend all and may save up XP if you wish)

2. We will be using Obligation from Edge of the Empire as this game's mechanic. All characters start at a minimum of 5 Obligation, and can on more Obligation during character creation for more XP or Credits. The maximum starting Obligation is 20. There might be opportunities to gain more Obligation during play, with unique rewards.

3. All Careers and Specializations from Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire, and Force & Destiny are allowed, including Specializations from their related splatbooks. The Clone Wars books (Rise of the Separatists, Collapse of the Republic, and Dawn of Rebellion) will not be in use this game, except for the following:
  • All listed gear (in case of items that have printings in other books with different Rarity and pricing, you may use the one found in these books as they better represent the prices and availability in the Old Republic)
  • Death Watch specialization (for Mandalorian characters only)
  • Force Adherent specialization
  • Force Sensitive Outcast specialization
  • Pirate specialization
  • Scavenger specialization
  • Ship Captain specialization
  • The following species are also allowed for play: Drabatan, Geonosian, Gigoran, Harch, Iakaran, Karkarodon, Tognath, Umbaran.

4. No Jedi or Sith characters will be allowed for this game. Neither will characters secretly working for either the Republic or the Empire. Characters may have backgrounds in the Republic or the Empire, but the GMs want the focus on this campaign to be about the characters who are unaligned. Force Sensitive characters are still allowed.

5. We will be allowing most published races, as long as there's an in-universe reason for them to be there. Not all races are discovered in the Galaxy yet in this timeline, so please ask if you are uncertain. Miraluka (courtesy of Dapper Dog) is available.

6. The game setting will be taking place in the same universe as Dapper Dog's Star Wars games (with permission from Dapper Dog, thank you!), so players are welcome to draw inspiration from those games. Read the timeline here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=27

7. We will be using the Backgrounds, found here, for Character Creation. Bonus skill from Backgrounds cannot take a skill above 2 as per normal character creation rules.

8. All characters start with an additional 6000 credits for pre-game purchases. Starting items will be capped at Rarity 8. Restricted items are fine to purchase at this point too (you're the scum and villainy of the galaxy, after all). No one item may be worth more than 4000 credits.

9. Your character needs to be tied to the Main Contact in some way, either through previous experience with them, or being part of a crew that has a connection to them. Players may form crews if they want. [Previews about these NPCs will be coming in the future]

10. Character submissions can either be sent to togashiayame@gmail.com, through PM here, posted in PF here, or through PM on Discord to either myself or Hatoful GM.

-------------------------------------

Obligation

We will be using Edge of the Empire's Obligation rules, with the same tweaks as used in Dapper Dog's games.

Each player will begin with 5 Obligation. From there players can increase their starting Obligation, to a maximum of 20.

In addition, characters may get a ship for 5 points of Obligation. This will be a Light Freighter, capable of space travel.

At the start of each session, which last 3 game days, the GMs will roll for Obligation.

It will be possible to reduce or even gain Obligation in play.

The nature of each character's Obligation (or multiple Obligations) is up to the player, and the GMs may use story-hooks offered from Obligation to enrich the game.

If you choose to have a ship, you may choose an Unrestricted Starship up to the value of 140,000 credits. This does not come with any crew apart from yourself and any other PC that is a part of the ship's crew.

Known criminal organizations in the galaxy...

Black Sun
Leader: Salarr
Black Sun is a rapidly growing group based on Coruscant. It's still a young organization, but what it lacks in age it makes up for in brutality and by sticking their fingers into all the pies. Smuggling and piracy might be what they're most known for, but that is just the tip of the iceberg as they've involved themselves in every known type of illegal activity. The more experienced souls in the underworld see them as an up and coming rival to the Hutt Cartel and Exchange.

Circle
Leader: Bolan
A Nikto-only group of slicers, the Circle are a tight-knight clan of tech-obsessed Nikto. They see technology as the only power in the galaxy to rival the Force, possessing the ability to transform lives, societies, and cultures, and to determine the outcome of wars. They are most often paid in technological gadgets rather than credits when hired to do a job, and their group have some of the best slicers in existence as part of their clan.

Corellian Run Scoundrels
Leader: Temmo'onak'hrurcin
Mostly operating in the Corellian Run from which they get their name, the Corellian Run Scoundrels are a group of smugglers that often act on behalf of the Republic as unofficial privateers. Their smuggling operations usually don't involve the worst kind of goods, and they have often sabotaged slavers, which has led them to have a better reputation than most scum and villainy in the galaxy.

Crimson Fang
Leader: The Red Huntress
A small gang operating in Wild Space, the Crimson Fang is a new and notorious group of mercs and hired guns. Led by Elarea Aldraste, better known as The Red Huntress, the group follows the same modus operandi as their leader; a dead target is better than a living target.

Drayen Crime Syndicate
Leader: Nok Drayen
Nok Drayen was just a small-time smuggler, until he put himself on the map in the most spectacular fashion by destroying the shadowport of Mandellia, killing the thousands of pirates and gangsters who resided there with a single shot. He accomplished this by dropping out of hyperspace in his freighter, and broadcasting a demand that the settlement's residents surrender to him. When they refused, he fired a proton torpedo loaded with a nerve toxin stolen from the Imperial Navy, which slew every last resident in minutes. Drayen then plundered the accumulated wealth of his victims, becoming one of the wealthiest criminals in known space and using the proceeds to establish his own syndicate.
Drayen's ruthlessness in the accumulation of underworld influence was legendary, and he was credited with having slain half the members of the Hutt Cartel in a single night, with no one ever able to discover the method behind his feat. Having been granted control over an entire quadrant of the galaxy by the Cartel as a peace offering, he later consolidated his power and added to his infamy when he personally destroyed the Rath Cartel and the Vandelhelm Combine during the Syndicate Wars.
While the Drayen Crime Syndicate does not yet have the reach and power of the Exchange or the Hutt Cartel, it certainly has the ruthlesness to back up its ambitions.

DX Annihilator Network
Leader: DX-TX (mk.IV)
Operating out of Nar Shaddaa, the DX Annihilator Network is a criminal organization consisting of droids only. At a glance, the group mostly involves itself in smuggling, slicing, and selling information, but its most lucrative business is in assassination. If one has enough money, the Annihilator Network will live up to its name and annihilate a target, including scrubbing the target's information away from the Holonet.

Exchange
Leader: Compeer (title)
The Exchange is one of the biggest criminal organizations in the galaxy today and has maintained that position for the past couple of hundred years. Since its inception is has grown considerably and keeps on growing, and today is a solid rival to the Hutt Cartel - question is how long the Hutts will tolerate its existence. They deal in spice refinement and smuggling, extortion, weapon trafficking, slave trading, and bounty hunting. The organization is active on many planets and has had several notorious bounty hunters in their employ, recently including Jewl'a Nightbringer, one of the highest paid bounty hunters in the galaxy today. The Exchange isn't afraid of the Empire or the Republic, which includes its Force users, as seen during the First Jedi Purge when they actively put out bounties on live Jedi. Bounties large enough to purchase an entire planet. Their operations are mostly centered in the Outer Rim territories, but they're known to be involved in many other places in the galaxy.

Freebooter's Trade Union
Leader: Unknown
The Freebooter's Trade Union is a black market organization. The Union is known for being able to acquire items for its clients regardless of trade rules and whether or not the items are owned by someone already. Accomplished thiefs, cat-burglars, and smugglers are part of their ranks, and for the right price, they can get you anything. Anything.

Gauntlet
Leader: "Big Boss" Jeerik
While small and mostly involved in petty crimes, the Gauntlet is most famous in the underworld for putting on death-duel tournaments that are broadcasted for profit. They put on shows with deadly ordeals for participants, who must overcome the challenges for rewards, which has drawn many desperate folks in without the Gauntlet having to resort to using slaves. All participants in their shows are there of their own free will, though the legality of it all is highly questionable in any civilized world.

GenoHaradan
Leader: Unknown
The GenoHaradan is more myth and legend in the galaxy, even in its underworld. Supposedly the best hunters and assassins, its unsure if they even exist anymore as its said that they disappeared with the end of the Xim Wars at the third Battle of Vontor thousands of years ago. And yet... there still persists a rumor that they are out there still, working their clandestine guild and taking only the most difficult and high-profile targets.

Howling Tempest Gang
Leader: Shrieker
The most daring and ruthless pirates of the Gordian Reach, this little group is slowly becoming an annoyance to the Imperial ships that pass through the Gordian Reach as the pirates seem to care little about the reputation of the Empire and the Sith. There's some rumors that they have connections to various rebel-elements in the Empire's territories, but nothing has been confirmed.

Hutt Cartel
Leader: The Supreme Mogul
Nearly synonymous with the phrase "scum and villainy", the Hutt Cartel are some of the most powerful forces in the galaxy outside of the Republic and the Sith Empire, and even those two take care to consider things when the Hutts are involved. The Cartel is involved in almost all things that will get them a profit, be it illegal or legal. Even most criminals have been involved with the Cartel in one way or another over the course of their careers, as their influence stretches beyond the borders of Hutt space. For the Hutts, this is almost as much part of their culture and history, and they do not take competition lightly - and as it is, the Exchange is looking to be dangerous competition for them, especially since the Exchange is more than willing to step on the Hutts' seniority in the field.
Being so established and deeply entrenched in the criminal underworld also means that the Hutts are a solid route to go to for many making to make a start in a life of crime, as the wealthy slugs can be persuaded to invest money in the possibility of having an indebted business partner, and many smugglers owe their ships to the sponsorship of a Hutt benefactor. Of course, there are those who believe they can just skip out on that debt, and they learn the hard way the cost of crossing the Hutts.
So far, the Hutts are the only criminal organization that can claim to own and control several planets, as well as having its own governments that can set their own rules.

Hylo Visz's Smuggling Contingent
Leader: Hylo Visz
Founded by the Mirialan woman named Hylo Visz, Hylo had previously worked for the Hutt Cartel until a botched smuggling run which caused her to ditch working for the Hutts and strike out on her own. She grouped up with a crew of skilled pilots and accomplished smugglers who also were going independant, but also did not care for the Sith Empire, and started a loose organization that had strong Republic sympathies. While the war was still going on between the Republic and the Empire, Hylo and her Smuggling Contingent were slipping through Imperial blockades to deliver supplies to occupied worlds, and smuggling refugees off world. This unofficial alliance with the Republic has benefited their bank account while the war was going on, but there is speculation around what they're up to after the Peace Treaty was signed...

Kintan Kings
Leader: The Mountain
Until very recently the Kintan Kings was just a group of Nikto warriors serving Bareesh the Hutt, until the Nikto known as The Mountain killed the Hutt and usurped leadership of Bareesh's assets. Now they're violent gang that stages operations against the Republic.
The group consists of a mix of mostly Nikto, but also Weequays, Drabatans, and Rodians.

Mecrosa Order
Leader: High Lady Prishya
A secret order of assassins and spies, the Mecrosa Order has existed for a thousand years. Rumor has it they're trained in the ways of the Dark Side of the Force, and that their members are forced to drink poisonous cocktails to develop immunities to poisons. They could've been almost as mythical as the GenoHaradan, given the low profile they keep, but they still keep a profile. They are specialists in poisons and unarmed combat, and have an extensive network of spies and information brokers across multiple systems, with the strongest presence in the Colonies.

The Nova Blades
Leader: Ralen Margok
A gang of pirates based on the planet Rishi located in the Rishi Maze dwarf galaxy, they started a loose conglomerate of pirate crews that shared resources. Eventually, they joined together and began to collaborate tactically, extensively preying on the galaxy's major hyperroutes. Today, some corporations have established a line item known as the "Blade Tax" to account for the expected lsses due to the Blades' attacks. Their main flagship is the corvette amed Aggressor. Barring major groups like the Hutt Cartel and Nok Drayen's gang, the Nova Blades have the most manpower and firepower.

Old Tion Brotherhood
Leader: Merik Shar
The Brotherhood dominates the underworld of the Tion Hegemony, and have made a fortune of smuggling spice from Hutt space to the territories of the Tion Hegemony. They prefer to stay away from the big rivalries going on in the criminal societies of the rest of the galaxy, and don't seem to be expanding their smuggling operations. In nature, size, or territories.

Rath Cartel
Leader: Seth Rath (deceased, presumably)
Now wiped out during the Syndicate Wars, the Rath Cartel (no relations to the Sith clan Rath) had a stranglehold on smuggling operations in the Core Worlds, particularly smuggling illegal goods to the high and mighty in the wealthy Core worlds. One could say that in removing them, Nok Drayen indirectly allowed for the Black Sun to later expand their horizons beyond Coruscant.

Red Hulls
Leader: The Scarlet Maw
The Red Hulls are an upstart pirate group in the Outer Rim, infamously known for being cannibals. At the moment they are trying to establish ties with other factions to build themselves up more, but so far they haven't had any luck with finding someone willing to sit down with them over a meal to strike a deal...

Rescued Property Appreciation Society
Leader: Dealer
Not a criminal organization as such, the Rescued Property Appreciation Society (or RPAS) is more like a travelling bazaar. They specialize in selling anything and everything one can possibly want, and usually leave brief messages signalling where they will show up. Their bazaars are practically an underworld scavenger's feast for the eyes, and many other criminals use the RPAS as a medium to sell stolen goods.

The Shroud
Leader: The Shroud
The Shroud is not a group, as far as people know, but a single entity. A freelance spy of legendary feats, such as infiltrating the Czerka Corporations most secure vaults and computers, causing the Great Czerka Datacrash incident where Czerka lost an untold amount of secret data. It's said the the person calling themselves The Shroud only communicates in text messages or in messages voiced by droids. Whatever the true nature of The Shroud is, it will be hard to find out, as they've gone silent after the Peace Treaty between the Republic and Empire was signed.

Terror Brigade
Leader: Vik "the Sneak" Viszla
A group of ex-Mandalorians, or Dar'manda as the Mandalorians themselves will call them. They are known as crazy thrill-seekers who will do anything for their own entertainment, be it ambushing military groups, wrestling wampas, or hunting rancors. Due to their thril-seeking nature, they have been persuaded to pursue dangerous bounties that include Jedi and Sith alike, as no danger is too great for them. Currently they have no permanent base and are roaming the galaxy aboard a Mandalorian dreadnaught named The Decimator.

Vandelhelm Combine
Leader: Gustav Vandelhelm (deceased, presumably)
Once a crime organization of secret origins, the Vandelhelm Combine was wiped out by Nok Drayen during the Syndicate Wars. According to rumors, Drayen found their secret base in the Vandelhelm Cloud asteroid field, and proceeded to bombard it all. When they were active, they were a group of skilled slicers and spies that preferred to avoid violent confrontations as they considered it a failure and horribly low-class. They were often employed for cyber-security for various criminal gangs, so it is very likely they had had very deep pockets that Drayen must've looted after they were eliminated.

The Veil
Leader: Veil-One, Veil-Two, Veil-Three
Consisting only of a trio of cyborgs, The Veil is an enigmatic group that engages in cyber-crimes from their base on Nar Shaddaa. Their actions, if someone managed to track them, would appear almost erratic and without meaning, but from all impressions it would seem that The Veil is playing some sort of very long long-game to achieve a greater goal.

Tenel Olon

Human | Runs a Good Crew | Has Many Secrets | Knows Many Secrets | Crime Mom

Species: Human or near-human
Age: Unknown
Hair: Greying
Eyes: Grey
Height: 1.73
Build: Very thin
Background: Unknown

As the saying goes, it's not what you know, it's who you know. Tenel Olon has made a career out of doing both.

Tenel entered criminal society about twenty years ago by pulling off a major theft, stealing a sizeable sum of credits and artifacts from the Hapes Consortium. Despite being unknown, she seemed to know exactly what to do, going to just the right people to fence the artifacts, and managing to keep interested parties at bay through a combination of promise and blackmail.

A foothold was all she needed, and she has spent the last twenty years acquiring allies, resources, and more secrets. She trades in information, but also makes use of it herself. Her crew is believed to be behind a number of jobs throughout the years, although nothing as large as her first heist. Her jobs have a reputation for running smoothly, as she uses her skills both to help plan the mission, and to select the perfect crew.

As mysterious as she is, Tenel has a reputation for being fair. One that is balanced by her reputation for remembering when she is crossed. This extends to those she considers to be part of her crew, or her "children" as she sometimes jokingly refers to them.

Syneisha "Syn" Versathi

Lethan Twi'lek | Red Right Hand | Lightest Touch | Deadly| Thief
"I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way."

Species: Twi'lek (Lethan)
Age: Unknown, likely to be in her 30s
Skin: Cinnabar with black tattoos
Eyes: Gold
Height: 1.71m
Build: Dangerous curves
Background: Criminal

A Twi'lek with a colorful past, showing all signs of someone with a prestigious upbringing. Syn first appeared in the criminal scene on Coruscant, starting with small-time stunts before joining up with the Black Sun for a life of crime and violence.

Syneisha rose in the ranks of Black Sun with her looks and wits, she left Coruscant to reach new heights with the Black Sun. And so she did successfully, as she seemed poised to be ready to assume one of the highest ranks of the organization, but all those expectations were thrown out the window when she stole huge amounts of resources and money, killed one of the gang-leaders and skipped off on her merry way to set course for the rest of the galaxy.

With a ship and cash at her disposal, Syn set her sights more on doing whatever struck her fancy, and in the following years she became quite the accomplished cat-burglar and thief, stealing only the finest things for herself - or on occassion, working for the highest bidder. Which at some point, led her to cross paths with Tenel Olon. After some period of contention and rivalry between them, the two women were smart enough to realise that they could accomplish much more with a partnership than as rivals. And they've been as two peas in a pod since...

Gruwmun

Wookie | Bodyguard | Muscle | Old In Spirit | But Young

Species: Wookie
Age: Wookie teens
Hair/fur: Light brown
Eyes: Blue
Height: 2.1m
Build: Muscular, yet not a fully grown wookie
Background: Slave origins

Already a hardened veteran of the fighting pits of Nar Shaddaa despite his young age, Gruwmun got the scars to show for his rough life as a gladiator. That life changed some years ago for him when Tenel Olon was on Nar Shaddaa to visit Yara the Hutt to engage in some extreme high stakes gambling.

Against all expectations, Yara the Hutt was completely defeated in the Sabacc games, having wagered away great amounts of her fortune and assets, including many of her prized slaves - such as Gruwmun. While the other slaves were sold off or let go, Gruwmun chose to stay with Olon. Mostly out of a sense of obedience he had been taught since he became a slave, but also because he didn't know where else to go. Tenel didn't object and let him tag along.

Gruwmun is too young to have learned about the Wookie custom of Life Debts, but he feels obligated to Olon nevertheless, and has over the past few years of following her come to regard her and her ragtag team as his new family. And he is quite ferocious when it comes to protecting all of them. For his chosen weapon, Gruwmun uses a Kashyyyk Spiritblade that he came across not long ago, as he is quite enthusiastic about all things Wookie-related and he tries his best to emulate what he believes is the ideal Wookie-behaviour (with influence from holovids).

Kaurin Vizla

Mando | Bounty Hunter | Has Two Guns | Finder | Friendly for a Mandalorian

Species: Human or near-human
Age: Middle-age
Hair: Black, hints of grey
Eyes: Dark Brown
Height: 1.9m
Build: Solid
Background: Bounty Hunter

Not every Mandalorian is a member of one of the clans. Kaurin, formerly of Clan Vizla, has been working with Tenel Olon's group for almost twenty years now. It was only supposed to be a year or two that he was away from the clan, but, well, he just hasn't gone back yet.

Kaurin's specialty is finding. Sometimes that means tracking people. Sometimes that means object retrieval. A lot of the time that means asking around in sketchy bars. Kaurin likes to say that drinking people under the table is part of his job.

Perhaps it is because of how much time he has to spend talking to people, but Kaurin is notably friendlier than the average Mandalorian. Of course, being friendly is part of the job, so his outgoing manner is almost certainly just another layer of professionalism.

Port Nowhere, Criminal Haven

"Some might call this place a wretched hive of scum and villainy, but in all honesty, this is more like a pleasant retreat for us shady folks rather than a so-called wretched hive. The place is clean, the entertainment isn't too bad, and as long as everyone agrees not to break the rules of neutrality and not cause too much of a mess, I might even call it nice. Not that the place is completely safe of course, as no where is safe for folks like us, so do be careful, darling." - Syneisha Versathi

Port Nowhere, originally a decommissioned Hutt-dreadnaught known as the Potentate's Pride, is a floating haven in uncharted space. It is a spaceport, a cantina, and a neutral meeting ground in space for all sorts of people who want to avoid attention from the big factions in the galaxy at large.

Image

System: Uncharted space
Population: Number unknown, but the port is staffed by various pirates, smugglers, and other criminals in the employ of Delcan Finyaft
Government: None
Terrain: Inside of a modified Azalus-class Hutt dreadnaught
Gravity: Artifical standard
Services: Cantinas, gambling, trade, night entertainment

Rarity cap: 7
Special: Characters using the Black Market Contacts Talent need only increase the price by 25% rather than 50%, due to the availability of goods and services at Port Nowhere. Characters may also use Black Market Contacts to get a hold of Restricted Items, at a 20% cost increase.

The station started out as an Azalus-class Hutt dreadnaught, originally owned by Barabulla the Hutt. The Hutt sold the station to starship mechanic Delcan Finyaft at a steep discount without his full comprehension. Finyaft spent the next six years deconstructing and refitting the station and re-opened it, renamed as Port Nowhere and advertised as a floating cantina. The spaceport is a haven for pirates, smugglers and other criminals due to its anonymous location, which shifts from time to time as the mobile station travels between the Core Worlds, Outer Rim Territories and Hutt Space. Port Nowhere provided several features including bars, gambling, and "night entertainment".

There is no night or day in Port Nowhere, and services are open at most hours. The station offers a selection of cantinas for drinking and gambling, a shopping district where all sorts of goods are sold and bartered, and various services and entertainment for visitors. In addition the station has a fully operational hangar for all visitors - this means that ships do not have individual hangars, they all share the same space. This of course means that suspicion is pretty high in this kind of company, so Port Nowhere offers security in the fee of 100 credits for visitors (players only need to pay this once).

Port Nowhere follows no galactic laws or regulations, but Delcan doesn't tolerate too much trouble or mess in his place. An informal rule of neutrality is the practice, where visitors will not instigate confrontations because of business or rivalry, but that doesn't mean the occassional bar brawl, duel, or good old murder doesn't happen. Brawls and duels are tolerated, but murder is frowned upon even if it happens. It just becomes a matter of getting away with it, or not be seen doing it.

Forum will open 24th of July
You may register under your planned character name or any other username (we can later change your name for you), and we will set you up with a PF in this time. This time is for settling in and getting things ready, as well as talking more with the GMs about your character - we're here to help everyone, whether it be questions about the setting or character creation.

Submissions will open on the 26th of July
You can email to togashiayame@gmail.com, PM here to the GMs, or on Discord, or simply post your character sheet + background in your PF here. You may post it in your PF before this date, but we will not be approving characters until this date.

Pre-game will open up on the 30th of July and last to the 1st of August
People can join the pre-game as soon as they are approved. If there is a matter of a simple math-mistake on the sheet, but everything else is in order, you will be allowed to join the pre-game.
For pre-game, the following rules apply:
- You only have 4 timeslots (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night) at your disposal. Using the Night-slot will not impact your character's rest between Day 0 and Day 1.
- Location will be Space or Port Nowhere.
- No dicerolling.

Game is set to start the 2nd of August
Game will be 10 IC days, split up into 3 sessions. XP will be rewarded at the end of a session (so you can spend XP at the end of a session that will then be available for the next session), and at the end of the game. There will be a Day 11 for wrap-up. Each IC Day will last 3 days, and each session will last 3 IC Days, except for session 3 which will last 4 IC Days.

Ok, new dates and announcements!!

We will open the forum before Christmas for people to browse and register. This has no firm date, but we will do it before the New Year.

You may register under your planned character name or any other username (we can later change your name for you), and we will set you up with a PF in this time. This time is for settling in, as well as talking more with the other players and the GMs about your character - we're here to help everyone, whether it be questions about the setting or character creation.

Submissions will open 4th of January
You can email to togashiayame@gmail.com, PM here to the GMs, or on Discord, or simply post your character sheet + background in your PF here. You may post it in your PF before this date, but we will not be approving characters until this date.

Pre-game will open up on the 8th of January and last to the 10th of January
People can join the pre-game as soon as they are approved. If there is a matter of a simple math-mistake on the sheet, but everything else is in order, you will be allowed to join the pre-game.
For pre-game, the following rules apply:
- You only have 4 timeslots (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Night) at your disposal. Using the Night-slot will not impact your character's rest between Day 0 and Day 1.
- Location will be Space or Port Nowhere.
- No dicerolling.

Game is set to start the 11th of January
Game will be 10 IC days, split up into 3 sessions. XP will be rewarded at the end of a session (so you can spend XP at the end of a session that will then be available for the next session), and at the end of the game. There will be a Day 11 for wrap-up. Each IC Day will last 3 days, and each session will last 3 IC Days, except for session 3 which will last 4 IC Days.

Gambling and games in the Galaxy

  • Bako: A game played with tiles and dice. Popular with Hutts. Same as Mahjong.
  • Bakurat: An ancient game that has fallen out of popular trends in most of the galaxy, said to have originated in the Byss Run. It's similar to Tarot, and is used for both cardgames and fortune-telling. Most of it's remaining popularity (which isn't much) is to its use for fortune-telling.
  • Barlaz: Originally from Corellia, it's a dice-game that is played in the fanciest casinos to the slummiest cantinas. Same as Craps.
  • Batana: A form of gambling played with physical credits rather than cards or dice. Also known as "The Trickster's Game". Same as Liar's poker.
  • Challenge: A so-called Living Card-game, this game requires players to invest a hefty sum of credits into attaining cards to create their own deck to use in games against other players. It has cards with various names and their own numeric values that determines how powerful a card is (in this time-period, it is sold as a Republic vs Empire type of game, and have names related to those factions, like Republic Commander, Imperial Soldier, Senator, Dark Councilor, etc. It is similar to A Game of Thrones LCG).
  • Dantooine Double-Hand: Considered to be the precursor to the very popular game Sabacc, Dantooine Double-Hand is still very popular on less refined planets. Similar to Brag.
  • Dejarik = A game of strategy and favored by thinkers. The game is played with pieces, physical or holographic on special dejarik-boards. Pro players often comment that while flashy and entertaining to watch, a true player prefers the old-fashioned pieces - on worlds like Alderaan and Coruscant it's very popular to have pieces and boards made out of expensive materials like gemstones or rare wood. Similar to chess.
  • Helcos: A trading card-game with the same idea as Challenge, though Helcos is known for being a money-drain on the coffers of competitive players, as there's a multitude of expansions being released regularly, and new cards are needed to stay on top of the competition. Similar to Yu-Gi-Oh.
  • Horansi: This cardgame is mostly played in the Core worlds among the lower classes, and is almost never played by upper class folks. It's also known as "Fighting The Landlord" on Coruscant. It's similar to Dou dizhu.
  • Klikklak: A game from a little known world in the Outer Rims, Klikklakk is a preferred game for those looking for simplicity or a more Zen-like approach to gambling. It's sophisticated nature has made it a popular game in various parts of the galaxy that know it as Klikklakk. In the Core worlds, it's known as Soule. The game is an interactive session between two players as each try to determine if the other has a card that is of higher or lower value than theirs.
  • Lady Luck: A popular casino-game as it is more up to chance than actual skill. Also known as Roulette.
  • Laro: A comparing card-game played between a "player" and a "banker". Laro is said to originate from Chandrilla, and it is a popular casino-game as it is easy to play, though difficult to master. It's gotten a rise in popularity the past century because of a series of Republic spy-movies that often has the protagonist engaging in a game of Laro. Same as Baccarat.
  • Lugjack: A type of slot-machine.
  • Pazaak: One of the most popular games in the galaxy. It's a cardgame where the challenge is to be as close as possible to the number 20 at the end of a round.
  • Sabacc: Sabacc is infamous for being the high-stakes gambling game, and many people have won their fortunes at clearing prolific tables. And countless are the people who have lost their fortunes to a game of sabacc. It is a game that is highly praised for its complexity and challenge, and many skilled players that it takes as much nerve as skill to play well.
  • Shah-tezh: A very old game, it's closely tied to games like chess and the much more popular dejarik, and by some scholars is considered to be the precursor to those two.
  • Yarno: A gambling game played with dominoes. Similar to pai gow.
