Jedi Breakfast (Day 10 Mid Morning)

Silas was just returning himself, a box in his hands. You just didn't carry around dresses over your arm or something. Of course it wasn't wrapped or anything, but that was fine. He had taken the time to tie a cloth ribbon around it though. Something he'd made from scraps of cloth.

Aina got a broad smile as he spotted, her and his steps quickened as he moved towards the table.

Esla lifted her hand and gave Silas a quick friendly wave, despite having already met and talked earlier. Her gaze went to the box and rather surprised that it was boxed as a gift, which perhaps made her a little more unsure about presenting her side of the gift. She sat down first and smiled at him. "And you also had time to box it too, it looks like something right out of a store."

"Well, the box was really just something I carry around to store things in, but since you liked opening your datapad so much I thought it would be worth a little bit of extra effort to put a bow on it." He set the box on the table and pushed it towards her. "It's not like I had any gift wrap or anything thought, so I guess it's a bit half done."

Sitting down he offered her a warm smile. "Go ahead and open it when you're ready."

"It's not..." Esla gave the box another look over and shrugged with a smile on her face. On the second impression, it did seem rather jury-rigged but the presentation was still appreciated. It seemed rather fitting, considered it seemed to her that Silas could make anything. "...but I still think it looks very good and I like the effort."

She was about to tear into it until she stopped herself, touching the item in her inside coat pocket as a personal reminder. "Ah....uhm, it is fine if I give you mine, first?"

Silas was more then a little eager to see the scarf, so he was quick to nod. "Sure!" He offered with a bright smile, his breakfast forgotten in all the excitement. If nothing else this served as a good distraction from the coming quest into the crystal rooms, as it was also somethign he had been looking forward to.

It was now to never with her gift. She reached into her coat and produced a handmade scarf. Unlike Silas, she didn't have too much time to prepare it and she had just barely finished. It was done through crocheting, using black wool that faintly had other colours blended into it with some blues, greys and gold here and there. The tail ends were squared off in a simple design, although she might have done some tassles if she dallied around more with it.

She presented it with both of her hands and offered Silas to take it, shyly watching for his reaction.

"Oh wow, that's beautiful." The grin the spread across his lips was probably a little infectious, and soon enough he was reaching across to take it, his fingers brushing Aina's hand in the process. Closer inspection didn't diminish his smile and soon enough he was wraooing it around his neck to try it.

"It's great." He replied beamign a smile at Aina, before sitting up a bit straight. "What do you think? Does it look good on me?"

Esla couldn't help but blush brightly as she slowly took her hands back and looked down at the table. Maybe she found her buttered bread very fascinating right now? "Thank you...It's nothing really."

She slowly lifted her gaze up and smiled bashfully at Silas finally, nodding enthusiastically in approval. "It looks really good on you! I mean...if you think it does. If you like it..."

Silas politely looked away for a moment as the young lady composed herself, though his smile still remained. Taking the moment to inspect the cloth of the scarf a little better.

Her approval only got his smiled to broaden and he left the scarf in place, even if it was a bit warm in the temple for it. "Of course I like it!" It was a homemade present for a girl, abd it looked great as well. He really wasn't sure how anyone could hate such a thing. "I'll be sure to get good use of it too!" Maybe he'd wear it during the crystal trial, well if they let him.

His warm smile remained up his lips as he looked from aina to the box. "Why don't you open yours now?" He offered afre a moment. She couldn't exactly try it on right now, but at least she could see it.

"Great!" She exclaimed out and let out a small giggle, rather relieved that it was received well. "I'm happy to hear. I didn't know if it was going to be enough or long enough. It doesn't itch or anything, right? Uhm, if it unravels or anything before the end of the trail, you could let me know..."

She quickly shook her head, as she was probably babbling too much now. "That's good, I hope it helps with today."

"Oh!" She said as she was reminded of the gift in front of her. With that, she took the box into her hands delicately and carefully tugged on the wrap to take it appart. Silas did a lot of work in the presentation, after all.

"No, it's nice." He reached up a hand to adjust the scarf. "Not itchy at all." Just a tad bit warm. Taking up the end he inspected it for a few moments. "I think the ends will stay together pretty well, they look like they will. If somethign happens though I'll be sure to tell you."

He fell silent though as she moved to open the box. If was his turn to wait a bit nervously for her reaction. He thought he'd done fairly well on the dress, but there was always a chance she didn't like it as much in reality as she had in the pictures. The skirt could be a little shorter then what she had been expectign or somethign after all.

Esla gave the contents of the box a big blink, rather surprised to see the dress before her in person and made true from Silas's plans. More taken aback that it was made reality and not just a blueprint. She reached inside it and delicately touched the fabric to feel the material, then the embroidery and finally the buttons. Upon realizing that her jaw might have dropped, she pressed her lips together and gently lifted the dress from the box.

"Ohhh...you did it and it looks very nice, even better in person..." She murmured.

Silas sat silently for a few moments, waiting to see what Aina thought of it, and seeing her reaction a soft smile made it's was onto his lips. You didn't react like that if you didn't like something right?"

"You think so?" He asked after a moment. "Do you think it's nice enough to wear to a nice event then?" It probably was a question that didn't need to be asked.

Esla stood from her seat and held the dress against her. It wasn't quite trying it on but she got a better idea how it might look on her than just looking at it in the box. She looked at it a few times on her and then nodded in sure approval. "I think it's a very lovely dress, I'd wear it for sure to something formal or fancy!"

"Awesome!" Silas replied with a grin. It would likely need a few accessories, but that wasn't something to worry about at the moment. "Maybe we'll have a chance for something like that when we return to Coruscant."

"Either way though, I'm glad you like it."

Esla hugged the dressed and was a little giddy about trying it on soon. However, there were priorities involved and they had perhaps the toughest part of their trial looming later this afternoon. She smiled sheepishly and began folding the dress neatly so that she could put it away like how she found it.

"I do hope we get to return to Coruscant first, before whatever they ask of us," she seemed almost sure of that, considering she was sure they didn't take everything with them. "If not, I guess I can send pictures on the datapad?"

"Pictures on the datapad never hurt." Silas replied with a grin, more then happy with the result of his work as well as Aina's happiness in reciving it. "But I do hope to get to see it in person." He smiled before shaking his head.

"I guess we should get breakfest eaten though... shouldn't we?" He offered after a moment as he moved his bowlk back towards himself.

Esla couldn't help but let out a small giggle and bobbed her head. They should but it was rather hard to focus now that she had the last trial and the dress on her mind. At the very least, she had high spirits to start the morning.

After packing it up as neatly as she could, she made her way over to where Silas was seated and gave him a hug from his side to thank him.

The hug was a bit of a surprise, and his cheeks went a bit red in response. He didn't try to escape either, though it was hard to return it from the angle she picked

Esla backed away from Silas with a small smile on her lips, slightly embarrassed that she did that but she wasn't going to take it back. It seemed like what she wanted to put across without needing words. With that, she returned to nomming the remainder of her meal with Silas across from her in content silence.
