- During the night, a couple of the missing people return to Dewbright in a dazed state. They're all anemic and seem to suffer from partial amnesia, and they all show signs of malnutrition. They're diagonised with PTSD, partially because of their volatile emotional state. Among these people is Luc's wife.

- The Jedi Masters finally manage to arrange a meeting with Dewbright's government representatives, as well as the chief of police, and the leader of the Defenders of Dewbright-organization. Byron, Silas, Zanja, Mir, and Zizzy are all present as the masters present the evidence of the Ogon Trading Company's dirty deeds, and it's not hard to strengthen their case when they take a trip out to the excavation to see how the OTC managed to provide such cheap labour. A spokesperson of the OTC claims that the cheap labour was provided by a third party, the Sith Lord Destrus, but that they were not made aware of its true nature.

- The collar found at the excavated site turned out to be both a monitoring device, often used to by slavers to make sure that "workers" do not stray outside of designated zones, as well as something incomprehensible to modern science. The Jedi Masters speculate that it might have been keeping the dead bodies animated, but do not wish to study such a dark contraptions too closely.

- Despite her skill, there is nothing master Murah could do for the workers, as they were animated corpses. The victims seemed to be elderly and frail.

- Following the implication of Lord Destrus, the police went out with an arrest order, but the Sith Lord had already left the planet before they could apprehend him.
