Things I learnt about Eir: good with kids, a crack shot.

I didn't interact much with Eir in this. From my understanding, she had some Dark Side leanings. Did you create her with this intention?

Eir doesn't have Dark leanings, but her father is a fallen Jedi; so there were ties back to the Sith that the GMs picked up and ran with. I think the GMs did a good job with that, and I would have loved to delve into that a lot more.

I had a good time in my threads with Eir. Especially pegging her with a snowball by surprise. :P

Would she be interested in working with Silas on other projects in the future?"

Definitely! I really enjoyed our threads, few as they were, and I think Eir and Silas would work well together. I was surprised that Eir wasn't as annoyed by her nickname as I expected, but Silas was Good People.

I really enjoyed Eir, particularly when we went off into the Meditation chambers and our trip with Corvin. The Lord Destrus stuff was great too and if I had been more available at the time I would have explained about the vision Zizzy had.

What surprised you most about how Eir turned out?

How did Eir surprise you?

She was a lot more personable than I expected. I'd just stepped away from a game in which I had a lot of trouble connecting to the other players, and the friction resulted in me dropping out. I think I expected things to be similar here, and I had been bracing myself for more of the same, but everyone was very welcoming of Eir and made it really easy for her to get along with them, so that was great.

Eir was also pretty great with kids, which ... kids scare me IRL.

I noticed how good she was with kids!

Eir had a lot of good stuff. Glad she could be here!

What would you say was Eir's best scene?

Was there anyone that Eir got on with better than expected? Errr, besides kids.

Towards the end of Eir’s vision in the Vergence, I got into some really dramatic writing, I guess I’d say that was her ‘best’ scene.

The sibling relationship between Eir and Taime was probably the most surprising. A day or two before pre-game we realised that, through Chriala, our characters would have known each other for a while. During the pregame thread I thought to myself “what kind of things would have been allowed between kids, that might be weird now that they’re teens?” which is how I came up with the idea of Eir getting into Taime’s bed. Taime was amazing and just ran with it.

Eir was interesting to read. And her background allowed us to do so much more with our sinister Sith Lord who was originally just there to be spooky and creepy. :D So good work!

I look forward to what Eir will be doing now that she's a Jedi!

And thank you for playing with us. It was good to have you. :)

Having Destrus around really helped cement my vision of Eir having that “I don’t need your help” attitude.

Thank you for the scene! Sorry Esla was a bit of a pain in the beginning. I assure you, she was equally a pain to me as well.

Any difficulties with Eir, also anything you'd change after game start if you could?

Also, love the avatar, I really like the gaze for some reason.

I love Eir’s baleful “so done” expression in her avatar, I had this very specific idea going in of a sullen pre-teen and I think I captured that.

It was interesting to play opposite a character that Eir didn’t immediately get along with, it’s something that I enjoy doing, but I worry that people will think it’s personal, when it really isn’t.

If I could make any changes to Eir, mechanics-wise, I would swap out Sense for Ebb/Flow. I didn’t have the full list of available powers when I was building the character, and just picked from what I saw. Beyond that, I’m pretty happy with how Eir turned out.

Sorry we didn't get around to that thread in the end, it could have been interesting to explore Ares' thoughts on Eir's parentage. Still, she was fun and glad you had fun!

I'm wildly curious about how much of Eir's Sithy backstory you planned ahead, and how much came out during play!

I expected there might be more friction between Eir and Zanja given how similar they were in a bunch of ways (Criminal Background and Presence 1 high five!), so it was interesting and surprising to me when they actually got on well. If Eir ever needs help rescuing future-Jedi kids from peril she should definitely give Zanja a call

Actually very little! The GMs really did a great job on turning a sentence about a fallen Jedi into an intriguing plot hook.
