I wasn't super surprised, because he was one of the masters she seemed to share especially good (and/or entertaining) chemistry with. Part of Zanja is going

but I think they fit pretty well. Not too much talking, get the job done, grump a little bit but essentially mean well?

I could imagine a plausible future for her with almost any of the masters on offer, so I'd have been happy however it turned out, but I think there are interesting possibilities with Corvin!

I really liked our early threads with the Red Hawkbats etc . I think Zanja being so wonderfully blunt and snarky may have made me go for a sassier Zizzy than I originally imagined.

What did you think of Shien? Any standout moments for you, for Zanja and any other characters?

What would silas of had to do to get slapped really hard?

Zanja talks tuff but actual violence is very much a last resort for her. That's one thing that surprised me a bit, actually--it emerged as one of the odder overlaps between her tiny street kid past and her Jedi present. If Silas pushed past a clear 'no' and kept getting in her personal space in some unwelcome way, then maybe, but that seems unlikely? Or if one or the other of them was in a moment to crisis/high emotion. She probably would hit someone in a "snap out of it" context, too. Hmm.

Zanja was intended to be a "problem child" Jedi, because I was coming off of Tethys, who pretty much had her feet under her. The Artful Dodgerness:Angstiness ratio came out slightly differently than I expected, though. She had more fun at the concert on Coruscant than I would have anticipated, for example!

I didn't get far in Shien at all--as far as the main stat-swap talent, and that was it. I went into it because I didn't want Zanja to suck at lightsaber combat but high Brawn didn't really fit the character and the other things I wanted her to be good at; pretty much all the rest of the XP went into Force powers and so on. So the tree looks fun, and in a hypothetical future I'd pick up a bit more of it, but likely branch quickly into Investigator or Sentry and go deeper there. Utility rogue, basically.

There were a lot of moments I really enjoyed, some plotty and some not--babysitting and the subsequent rescue mission, unexpectedly spatting with Mir in pregame, climbing with Ares, the concert with Silas, the tattoo stuff, the visions... I could go on! I feel like I was far from the most active player, but thinking back, there were almost no scenes that felt like filler; something was always happening or I was always learning something new about the character. I do regret missing beach day and the Sith soiree, though.

With respect to other characters, I could probably name something for almost everyone, but Zizzy playing a seductive barfly on Coruscant and Eir/Taime's sibling dynamic stand out off the top of my head. Oh, and Mir's increasingly elaborate kitten pantheon!

Kind of wished I got more scenes in with Zanja! Although, that's how I feel about most of your characters. I have to admit that it seemed Esla might have difficulties hanging around Zanja. At least, she got the impression that she wasn't a person she'd want to upset and also so seemed like she had some sort of feud with Mir., which made her less wanting to seem like she was taking a side.
