Down in the Dark (Zanja)

[Zanja]

"I don't really know. Not that." Zanja shrugged, curt. "Everything was, like, normal. But weird." From her unsettled body language, it would be fairly obvious this was an understatement.

"How do you know if somebody passed?"

[Jaric Kaedan]

"It is difficult to tell. Some are spiritually shattered after confronting their visions in there. Some just need some time to digest what happened," Jaric explained calmly. "It is why you will have some time before the final parts of your trials on Ilum. It allows us to be there and help you through such a difficult experience, because in the end Jedi stand together."

[Zanja]

"Yeah. I need to think about it. I guess." Zanja gave Jaric an oddly intense look at that Jedi stand together.

[Jaric Kaedan]

The master's look in return seemed more soft and understanding than he usually was. Despite his harsh nature otherwise, judging from his eyes he did seem to care.

"Whenever you feel ready for it, I or the others will be there for you."

[Zanja]

"Okay." Her voice was rather gruff, but that was hardly unusual. She didn't feel much like talking anyway, and it was undeniably strange having this conversation with the real Jaric when the equally real-seeming Jaric of the vision--fake, fake, but still--was so fresh in her memory.

[Jaric Kaedan]

"Shall we return to the temple?" he dusted off his robes, which had some dirt on them from when he had been waiting for Zanja.

[Zanja]

"Yeah." She nodded and wiped her own slightly damp and dirty hands on her robes. "Let's get out of here."
