EVENT: Decieved (D6, Early Night)

Time: Early Night
Location: Jedi Camp near Acablas
Participants: 4 PCs.

Being on the side of caution, the teachers have decided to go with guard-shifts at the Jedi Temple near Acablas. But even they need rest and so four volunteers are needed for a few hours.

On the bright side of being on guard duty in the few dark hours allow for a spectacular view of the starry sky.

The scene will play out after all 4 slots have been filled and players have posted their entry in the scene.

[Mir]

Mir was there, standing guard with his goggles on his eyes. He was wrapped in his robes. Occasionally he would reach to pat his pockets to remind himself of the slugthrower he carried. The heavy weight of the antique gun felt good in his paws.

[Byron Mik]

Mir had been… unstable the last few days and the Masters said he should try and be there for the Jedi in training so here he was, well that and because there was work that needed doing and Byron was always willing to volunteer. He pulled his robe close around him and kept his hood up while he waited in the dark for hopefully a dull night.

[Ares Pax]

Ares was glad to take up the spot, holding his sword dear. He still remembered Ayura's warnings, and decided to pay heed to them.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy had volunteered as well, partly to help out and partly to keep her tendrils focused on Byron and Mir. It also meant that she could watch the stars for a change and not think about the dark temple. Her flashlight was loosely held in one hand, just in case something stirred in the darkness. Her robes were comfortably warm.

[Faily]

The star sky was quite a marvel. Coruscant had too much city lights that drowned out the light of the stars, but out here at Acablas, there wasn't much light to compete with for the celestial bodies. And it spread out over the sky like a river of shiny crystals.

But something was moving towards the Jedi Temple.

Byron was alert to anything out of the ordinary.

Whatever it was it would not get past the keen eyes of Zizzy Roosh! Her senses told her that something was off.

But kitty saw something shiny instead that had almost looked like a fish.

Three of them could notice the approach of a robed figure. Zizzy could see that the figure didn't seem to be making much effort to sneak up on them, but it was also trying to avoid being noticed by something (advantages).

The figure seemed to be about a hundred feet away from the group when they took notice.

Byron had to move close in that direction to see the figure, the branches of trees buffeting his face as he moved quickly to get a good vantage point.

He called out to the figure, “Hey, you lost?”

[Faily]

The figure grumbled and continued to walk closer, drawing down its hood now that it had been spotted.

"Do I look lost to you?" the cadance of a male's Imperial accent was unmistakeable.

[Zizzy Roosh]

"No. You look like you're trying not to be seen by something though, and not us. So what's going on?" Zizzy scanned the area to see if she could make out anything else moving around out there.

[Mir]

Mir reached to grab his slughtrhower though he did not pull it out from his pocket - just yet. His eyes were intent on the figure while his ears twitched around, scanning the night for something they might have missed.

The pureblood Sith apprentice approached, holding up his hands to show he had no weapons in them.

"Permission to approach, jedi?"

[Byron Mik]

"Granted, what can we do for you or Lord Destrus?" he asked.

[Ares Pax]

Ares kept a close eye on the sith, keeping his thoughts to himself, but standing firm and vigilant, just in case.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy kept her eyes on the surrounding area just in case the Sith was being chased by something. She expected that the others could handle him if he did something stupid.

[Faily]

"I..." he paused, clearly suspicious of the group. Particularly Ares. "I wish to speak with one of the Jedi Masters. Alone."
