"Oh." That was good, and brought a soft smile to his lips. Still it did make him feel a bit guilty, and so he looked a the ground for a moment.

"Thanks Master Murah, but you're right I'm not good all the time." He murmured softly. "Like today I um, kinda hacked a satellite to spy on some slavers."

She looked a bit surprised at first, but as always she had a patient smile. "I'm not going to say that's not a good-natured intention behind such, but you should not make a habit of doing that. It could have consequences for you if such was discovered - and the Jedi too."

"I know." Silas replied with a serious nod. "It's why I didn't want to keep it from you and the other Masters." It hadn't seemed quite right.

"Its hard to tell if I should do things sometimes, even if my intentions are good." There was a short pause. "There are consequences to the choices we make after all, and as you said it might not be just to me."

"I understand. It's often difficult to find balance between doing what is right and doing what is expected within the bounds of what we can do. It's important to remember that we are not above the law, though if this information you found leads you to answers these people need, I am confident they will forgive you for your trespassing. Someone like Orgus or Farissa would probably tell you that it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission," she said with a clever smile.

"Master Ogrus would say that too?" Silas asked with a raised eyebrow. It definetly sounded liek something Ionee would say, but he was a bit suprised to hear Master Ogrus would give the same advice. "Perhaps he was a bit more of a rapscillion then I have him credit for."

Still he nodded. "So should I apologize about it then? That is if we catch these criminals and see them all arrested? Or just let it pass, since no one seemed to notice..."

"You should," she nodded. "We'll see about arranging that. It seems there is a lot going on, and we're trying to get all the pieces together."

"Okay." Silas said with another firm nod. Byron had been there as well to help with the hacking, but it wasn't his place to say that. "It is rather convaluted." Silas agreed.

"I'm pretty sure there are several pieces we're still missing. Hopefully a look at the site will answer some of out questions though."

"Hmm... just be careful, and don't attempt any hare-brained heroics. A bit difficult sometimes, but it is better that you return and tell us what you've found than getting in over your heads." She smiled a little. "I know that that is sometimes the most difficult lesson to learn at this age."

"Well, I think most of us aim for limited Byroning." Silas replied, with a small smile. "Still, I'll remember that, we aren't there just to end up requiring rescue after all."

Which is why they hadn't gone into any of the hangars yesterday.
