[Day 7 - MM] Jedi Cop III: Sith on a Plane

[Silas Myles Pearson]

After all the hacking he had done in the last couple days, silas was reeally starting to wonder if he was a bad kid.... Really, he was just trying to get to the the truth of things.

"Well." Silas let out a slow breath. "It looks like there is activity aat one mine... Mining operations manily... If that's where lord Destrus is though. well I can't really tell."

[Byron Mik]

"It's a lead the worst that can happen is nothing is there. Either way we need to let the Masters know and see if we can find these people," he said to Silas.

[Kerren Sek]

"If it is possibly one of Destrus' hiding places, perhaps one of your masters will be able to keep him occupied elsewhere while we check it out? That way, it will avoid a possible confrontation with him." Kerren suggested.

[Byron Mik]

"I bet Master Orgus Din would love to do that," Byron quipped.

"They could have a spot of tea and talk about the good old days."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Kerren seemed almost as interested in this as the rest of them, and that brought a small smile to Silas' lips.

"He would probably be a better person for the job for than some of the others, and Destrus has invited some of us to visit the Sith temple. Could be we can use that to distract him."

[Byron Mik]

"So we just need Master Din to be on board," he responded.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"One of the other Knights or Masters would be a good idea too." Master Din probably wouldn't want them doing this on their own.

"Another student or two may not be bad either, I think Ogon knows we have been looking into them, so back up is probably a good idea."

[Byron Mik]

"Sure just as long as the old Knights don't slow me down," he said jokingly.

[Faily]

Byron came up with a cunning plan.

"We'll figure it out." Silas replied as he sat his datapad and slicing gear to the side.

"I guess we go tell the Masters our plan now?"

[Byron Mik]

"Yeah... so Kerren, you need anything just ask. Also was your lightsaber like the real deal?" He asked.

[Kerren Sek]

Kerren tried not to bristle at the insinuation that it had been a fake. "Of course it was. I have already passed my training on Korriban."

[Byron Mik]

"No offense, just wondering. What was it like... assuming you made it yourself?" He asked.

[Kerren Sek]

"Made it myself," he said with a good dose of pride in his tone. "It's a... different process. Not just like working on a speeder or some computer. I suppose that much must be similar for Jedi and Sith."

[Byron Mik]

“Yeah, I have studied the schematics and I know I can do it… but to do it for real would be a different experience. Is it made out of a predator’s tooth or anything, I know some folks get crazy with it, even saw a Jedi with one made from kind of hardened wood,” he said warmly.

[Kerren Sek]

"No. I took apart and reconstructed a hilt that has been in my clan for generations... it's original hilt belonged to a sword." There was for sure some pride there now.

[Byron Mik]

Byron nodded, “Damn that is amazing. Maybe the Masters will give it back to you, minus the Sith crystal on Illum? Something like that sounds like quite the legacy and it should be yours to continue. I mean if that is something you want to happen… I mean I just assumed you wanted to be a Jedi… but maybe you just want to not be a Sith,” he responded.

“I know you mentioned seeing another lightsaber in your vision.”

[Kerren Sek]

The line of conversation did become a touch personal, and Kerren silently scowled at first.

"... I saw myself wearing the robes of a jedi, wielding a blue saber. I am not sure if it was the same saber, but with a different crystal."

Silas let the pair chat, he was still a little wary about the sith apprentice, not that he intended to act on that. The Masters had this in hand, and it wasn't really his place to interfere.
