On a Mountain Side (Day 5 Mid Afternoon)

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Mine." Silas grinned. "I figured they would make his shoulders seem a little broader?"

"Que helped me pick what to actually use though "

[Eir]

"It's good, it would have looked kinda plain without it," she nodded firmly.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah, and can't have a good looking guy like Que walking around in plain clothes." Silas frowned for a moment.

"Though I think he kinda likes plain. Well at least if I take his beachwear into account."

[Eir]

Eir turned a little pink, before being distracted, "wait, what did he wear to the beach?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Oh ho? Maybe Pixie had a bit of a crush on Que? Well, it wasn't his place to pry.

"I'm not sure? It kinda looked like plain white pajamas though. I dont think it would be very good for swimming."

[Eir]

"Did he swim, though?" she knew Taime could be nervous about trying new things.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Not that I saw." Silas replied thoughtfully. "I know Mir said something about trying to teach him, but I'm not sure if he ever did."

He'd been far too busy looking at other things... Not that he needed to think of that right now.

[Eir]

“Sometimes he needs a shove,” not that caution wasn’t a valuable trait, especially in a Jedi. “So long as y’all had fun, though.”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Splash! Right into the Ocean." Not that he would actually do that to Que, but it was an amusing thought. "But yeah, I think I've seen a bit of that, it was pretty hard to get him to play Force Caliber Vi after all. But he got pretty excited about it after I showed him those videos."

"Maybe you can teach him a bit about swimming tomorrow then?"

[Eir]

Eir laughed at the thought of physically shoving Taime into the water, the image was made funnier in her head when as she imagined it was her doing the pushing.

Laughter tended to be contagious and soon enough Silas joined in. "I see you like that plan." He offered as the laughter died down. "You think Que would forgive us if we actually tried it though?"

[Eir]

As the bubbles of laughter simmered down, "yeah, he's a good sort, just awkward, y'know?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah, I dont think he has had many friends." Or that's how it had seemed to him.

"But that will change I think, well soon enough."

[Eir]

“He,” Eir screwed up her nose, trying to think of how to describe it. “He’s an all in kinda guy? Like, if he gets to know you, then he’s invested. Family and stuff is really important to him. So much that he has two families, Master Chriala, and his birth parents.”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Oh." That seemed to be a rather novel approach to life, Silas approached things a bit differently himself. Not that he could actually put the how into words.

"I suppose that makes sense? What about you though Pixie? Are you like that too? All or nothing?"

[Eir]

The girl thought about for a while. “I dunno,” Eir finally admitted. “I mean, everything goes away in the end. Like, after this we’ll all go different ways, and that’s kinda inevitable, y’know? And T’ame’s like ‘we’ll stay in touch’ and ‘I’ll always be there’ and that’s nice and all, but,” she trailed off, shrugging helplessly.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Mmm... " Silas nodded at that. "I suppose I can see where you are coming from. Though what he is saying might come a little from Master Chriala."

"She said that all of that pass the trials together share a connection through the force. So maybe in a way we'll all never part?"

[Eir]

"The Force is huge, no matter where you go, you're always touching it, so maybe yeah, we're all still connected in some way." It made sense that Master Chriala would have taught Taime that, she was his adoptive mother and, in a more abstract sense, Eir's mother figure.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"It makes sense at least a little." Silas agreed with a grin. "So those things Que says to you might not be all that wrong. Or wrong at all." He looked up towards the sky. "It might not be quite the way you were expecting though."

"But even then, who says as Knights that you will all that far apart."

[Eir]

Eir shrugged, but she was smiling, "I've been trying to ease him into the idea of going our separate ways, and in his way he's been trying to help the galaxy to be a less lonely place."
