On a Mountain Side (Day 5 Mid Afternoon)

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I think there is probably something in the jedi cool about bragging about how we got our cool scars." Silas grinned and gave pixie a playful wink. "Especially since I'd need to be shirtless to show off like that."

"You're right though, having a few scars from it would of been cool."

[Eir]

"It's not bragging if they ask," she countered playfully, the tips of her ears turning pink. "I'm sure there'll be other chances, just try to avoid grenades."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Good point." He agreed with a grin, perhaps missing the way her ears turned pink, perhaps not as he turned away, likely a manuever to hide the pink that lightly tinged his cheeks.

"I'll be sure to avoid grenades, too." The young man murmured as he squinted into the distance. "Is that something over there." He asked pointing at a bit of movement a short distance away.

[Eir]

Eir took the offered distraction and padded closer, light on her feet, until she could make out the shape of a lizard that had come out of its hiding place. “You said you wanted to see some reptiles? Check this out,” she beckoned the boy closer, her other hand pointing to a shadow cast by an outcropping. “I bet the suns never reach under those rocks, it would be almost cold for an ectotherm. It must get too cold too stay in one place all day,” the lizard settled itself on some shady rocks, still protected from the full force of the twin suns.

"He's a cute little guy." Silas replied as he moved into beside the you younger girl, the proximity perhaps exagerating the difference in height between the two of them. "Looks like the types to eat insects and the like." Which made him pretty useful to have around a home.

Well if you didn't like bugs that is.

[Eir]

Thoughtfully, “huh, there’d be no real nocturnal insects here. I’m surprised we aren’t being plagued by insects that use the midday heat as protection from lizards that want to eat them.” Eir didn’t really notice the height discrepancy, she was accustomed to being knee-high to pretty much everyone else. It was a wonder she didn’t have a permanent crick in her neck.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Well, they have sharks that are supposed to be nocturnal, I suppose they have adapted, hunting during the day in short bursts, or during the twilight."

He leaned in a bit closer, and the lizard noticing, scurried away into the underbrush. Which caused Silas to sigh regretfully. "I suppose as Master Murah said, they adapted."

[Eir]

"Living things will do that, I don't know if I could get used to living here, it's so bright all the time, but I guess I would, eventually." the lizard's tail disappeared, so Eir returned to the trail, alertly looking for other lifeforms.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I think it would be nice for visits to the beach." Silas mused, remembering the volleyball match from earlier in the day.

"But I do miss night time." He shifted his gaze towards the mountains. "I suppose there is something slightly exciting about going out late."

[Eir]

"I haven't been to the beach, isn't all that sand kinda horrible?" she squirmed a little.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"It's pretty itchy and scratchy... But it has it's good points." There was a small pause. "Volley ball was a lot of fun, and well swimming is too, maybe you and Que might want to go tomorrow?"

"Not that I want to pforce you too or anything."

[Eir]

“That’d be cool,” she agreed, “gotta try things once, at least. You missed a great dinner last night, we had all these crazy ithorian foods. Really crunchy, very tasty.”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Really? I think the bugs made Que a bit queasy... You're right though, you need to try new things" Silas paused thoughtfully.

"Maybe we can find the time after the trip the Masters take us on?"

[Eir]

“Sure,” she answered cheerfully, not yet thinking ahead to what their trials might bring, “I’d love to see Glade once more before we go, too. Uh, that’s the ithorian’s daughter. Sweet girl, Force sensitive.”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Oh?" That seemed like a bit of a coincidence. "Did anyone tell the masters?" It seemed the wise choice.

"Either way, you should go see her again, we wont be staying long, but it's good to leave positive impressions of our order."

[Eir]

She actually hadn't followed up on that, "uh, I'm pretty sure Zizzy said something. That's why that Sith girl was harassing them, though." The small girl was light of step, barely disturbing anything as she walked, "where did you guys go after, anyway?"

Zizzy had a good head on her shoulder, she probably had told one of the masters. Still he might mention it the next time he saw her.

"I went back to the hotel, and worked on designs for a while. Not too sure where Byron went too. Probably someplace close?"

[Eir]

"Make anything interesting?" she asked, genuinely curious.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Nah, just drew up some designs, nothing special either. I didnt get to the actual making until Que came by." And she had the chance to see that outfit already.

[Eir]

"So, the embellishments, your idea or T'ame's?" Eir gestured to her shoulders as she spoke.
