[D6 EM] Sand Gets in Your Suit

“That’s so cool,” she breathed. As an afterthought, “shame I don’t have my datapad, I could have taken a photo.”

[Taime Jorel]

He nods. "You'll just have to take a picture in your mind and store it. The old fashioned way." He said with a smile at her. He knew he would be storing this memory away. A bit of lightness in the midst of all this and Eir, smiling and laughing.

[Eir]

She chuckled softly, "yeah," the girl didn't even mention that she couldn't show a memory to someone else. As the pair watched, it became more apparent that the pool was teeming with life. A cleaner shrimp approached a small fish, its little legs cycling wildly through the water, and there were at least three different tropical fish, none larger than a few inches long.

[Taime Jorel]

"Its like a miniature aquarium. All so tiny." A small noise comes out of his mouth, unexpectedly. He never knew he'd find shrimp cute.

[Eir]

A half dozen fish gathered around the shrimp to be cleaned, and a small, brightly coloured, slug-like creature slowly wandered about. So close to the sea, the pool was quite large, and a starfish stretched its slender limbs, and felt about for scallops hiding in the sand bed. "I could get used to a place like this."

[Taime Jorel]

He looks at her and smiles at what he sees. She's relaxed and open here. Like she's thawed somehow inside and out. "I think this would be a good place for you Eir. You seem to be...glowing almost with how much you like it here."

It was oddly distracting, but he supposed it was just cause he wasn't used to seeing her so relaxed and happy.

[Eir]

Eir shifted, carefully dipping her little feet into the pool, trying not to alarm any of the inhabitants. The fish darted away at the disturbance, before slowly peeking out at the intruder. The half-arkanian looked over at Taime, smiling, the light of Auratera's suns lending the glow of her eyes a sort of warmth. She squeezed his hand.

He squeezes back, not wanting to break the moment. He just let himself enjoy the sun and sky.

[Eir]

It was a very nice moment. The little fish nibbled at Eir's toes, and the waves lapped against the shore, and it was all very calm.
