The city of Dewbright was founded by Ithorian colonists, who continue to dominate the population well after its earliest days. The city is located on the southern hemisphere of Auratera, in a large cove on the eastern coast of the Crystal Sea. It began as a humble fishing village, the city has now spread into a semi-aquatic city that stretches far into the ocean. Walkways and plazas stand on stilts and elevated platforms, and many buildings feature underwater levels - which are popular for nature studies and marinebiology.
Boats of various sizes and shapes ferry people around like water-based taxis. Speeders are of limited in use within the city-limits, as the locals try to avoid polluting the sea and its nearby coral-reef.
On the mainland, most of the landscape is agricultural, though with some new mounds taking shape in the area with the arrival of a nest of Killiks.
