Ares sat down in front of the holocom, the large one with the interstellar capability that the hotel allowed him to use. He just got back from the beach with the others, still in his trunks, he was in such a hurry to come back.

He dialed the Coruscant Jedi Temple nervously. If he calculated the time difference correctly, Ayura would be having some free time now. He wasn't sure what would be her reaction to him calling. They never talked about anything like this, and he had no idea how this is all supposed to work at all.

And the call was answered!



Ayura was wearing a bathrobe and her hair slicked back and wet. It seemed like she had just stepped out of the shower. "Oh, Ares!" her face lit up in pleasant surprise. "How are you? I'm so glad that you're calling!"

Ares smiled back, feeling relief wash through him. He was nervous about leaving her, but well, that is what his training required of him. "i'm good. Better now, that I see you. Sorry it took so long, were busy here." Playing volleyball with...Zizzy and her hips.

"How are you?"

"Doing alright, I suppose... I wish I had gone with you too for the trials," she sighed. "How is it there?"

"You will be here, soon. I believe in you." He smiled hopefully at her, looking into her eyes through the holosystem. "Bright. Like... there is no night. It's disconcerting. I think I got sunburnt today."

"Thank you," she smiled as he said he believe in her. "Bright? So... is it a binary-system then? Two suns or something?" Ayura pondered out loud. "Are you on Tatooine?"

"No, not tatooine. Aureteraia?" He replied hesitantly. "There are two suns... I think. I dind't take a look." HE blushed and looked away. "Not much for stars and stuff like that. I'm not smart like you, just muscle."

"You didn't take a look at what led to your sunburn?" she asked with a laugh. "Better hope that the masters aren't docking you points for that. Auratera you said? I don't think I have heard of it before... you give me far too much credit."

Ares smiled. "I was too busy looking at...the ocena." He amended hastily. Saying female hips would not be a good answer.

"You're smarter than me." He smiled at her appreciatevely. "There are some sith here. We are going to meet them later today."

"The ocean? Sounds like quite the beautiful place then. How I envy you."

At the mention of Sith, she visibly tensed. "Sith...? You can't possibly be serious about meeting them under pretenses of peace? It's probably a trap."

"You"ll be here for the next batch, I am sure!" He smiled at her, trying to pour confidence through the holo.

"Well, the masters will be there, and I will be vigilant. And I'll take dad's sword as well, just in case."

"Be careful, Ares... we cannot trust them. Ever," she said quite firmly. "Don't let them trick you into anything."

Ares nodded. "Don't worry. I know how treacherous they can be." He took a deep breath. "We both know. I'll take my father's blade with me. I am not going in there unarmed, don't worry." He relaxed, slowly. "There's a vergeance here. I don't know what the masters are planning for us to do, but I expect it to be... interesting. Challenging."

She seemed to take his reassurances to heart and trust him to be prepared.

"A Force vergence? Must be an important part of your trials then, I'd guess. Vergences all act differently, at least that's what Master Reikiss says."
