Ares knocked on Master Din's door. He sent a text on the holocom, asking for some time from the master, and he hoped the master would still be up.

It wasn't the first time a visitor had come to his room at night, and it probably wouldn't be the last. The door slid open, revealing Master Orgus, dressed in his usual robes.
He smiled. "Ah, Ares. Hope you're having a pleasant evening. What can I do for you?" He waved entrance to the room.

"Master Orgus, I hope I am not bothering too late. I...got caught up in Dewbright, to be honest, but I wanted to talk to you for some time now." He took a deep breath. "If it's fine for you now. I would like your opinion on some further education opportunities and lightsasber forms."

"Sure, sure." Orgus casually waved a hand towards a chair as he sat on the bed. In the backround, there was the sound of running water from the shower.
"What'd you have in mind? More learning is always good." He said.

"Well, Master. I want to sort of explore my options." He stepped into the room and sat in the chair. "I am working on my Juyo, and I feel I am getting better, but I am not blind to its disadvantages. I was thinking of picking up on another form, that might help me with some of the lack of defense that Juyo practices."

"I see." Orgus said. "Well, we encourage some amount of training in all the forms, and deeper study of a few. What did you have in mind?"

"Well..." He took a breath as he gathered his thoughts and words. "You are well versed in Soresu and Niman. Soresu is a highly defensive form, which might complement the weakness of defense in Juyo. While the Ferocity form is quite powerful on the offensive, if I am caught off guard I need to be ready for attacks. Niman,, on the other hand, makes use of Force more than most forms, perhaps Ataru and Juyo excluded. That is why I think you might be able to help me. What would you think of this so far Master Orgus?"

"That's true." Orgus said, nodding. "Niman is often developed alongside Force powers."
His brows drew down thoughtfully. "Soresu is defensive. It requires patience. It may be difficult to move from one to the other. Have you considered Shien? It's defensive too, but with a bit more emphasis on forcing openings."

"I did speak with Knight Farissa about Shien." He nodded. "I just wish to discuss my options with everyone with experience. I do not wish to make a hasty decision."

Orgus chuckled softly. "Training with the lightsaber, as with anything, is the work of a lifetime. I don't think you can make a hasty decision."
He nodded, smiling. "Tell you what. You want to get some more practice in soon? We can work on them a bit, see what works best with what you already know. Or what adds the most to your current set of tools."

"I would appreciate that master. Greatly appreciate it." He replied with a smile. "What did you have in mind exactly?"

Orgus shrugged. "Training. I show you some moves. Farissa shows you some moves. You try them. See what works. Just the usual."
He smiled gently. "It's no commitment. If nothing else, training is almost always worthwhile."

Ares nodded. "THat is something I would like. It sounds... fu neven." He smiled. "Have you been here before Master Orgus? On this planet?"

Orgus gave a sturdy nod. "I have. More than once. It's common for students undergoing their trials to visit here."

"Did you visit here while you were a student too?" He asked eagerly.

Slowly, Orgus nodded. "I did." Orgus wasn't exactly a voluble speaker, but this was a little on the terse side for him.

Ares raised his eyebrows. "Did you....like it here?" he asked a bit unsure.

Orgus smiled tolerantly. "Well enough, I suppose."
He gave Ares a little nod. "Is there something you're thinking about, Ares? Something you're worrying about? It's okay if you are. We can talk about whatever you like."

"Yeah. It' nice here, but having no night is... weird. The beach is pretty good." He recalled the swimsuits worn by the girls earlier in the day, and blushed.
"Erm, Master Orgus... do you have any experience with...attachments?"

Orgus smiled blandly. "The beach is pretty good, yeah."
At the big question though, Orgus sighed. "Sure I do. I think it'd be hard to find a Jedi who didn't." He gave Ares an encouraging smile.
