Sometime during the evening hours there was a soft knock on Murah's door. Upon opening her door she would discover Mir, clad in his long robes asking her if she had some time.

Mir didn't have to wait long after knocking until Murah opened the door. "Of course," she nodded, smiling gently. "We always have time. Come in."
The rooms the masters were staying in weren't much bigger than that of the student, and they were rooming in groups of two. Judging from some of the clothes folded on one of the beds, Murah and Jaric were roommates here.
"What can I help you with, Mir?" she asked as she showed him to a couple of chairs to sit in.

Mir tip-toed into Murah's rooms, squinting his eyes to offer her a smile as he did so. He took a chair, moving his paw within his robes to tug his tail out of the way so he would not sit on it. That happened all too often with the furniture designed for humanoids. Satisfied, Mir glanced up at Murah before dropping his gaze once more. "I don't understand jedi. Or what we are supposed to do. Byron suggested beating up the sith to teach them a lesson. I said we should not do that." Figuring he should not lie to her, Mir gulped. "Well I said that if we are going to do that we better stab them dead before they punch us back. Byron didn't like that and said that I should be sent back to Coruscant. Uh, so. Is he right?"

Murah took the news calmly. In a way, she had been waiting for Mir or Byron to step forward about it since she found out about it. She sighed softly, "do you think he is right, Mir?"

Well. I don't know. He's older." Mir admitted. "If he's right then I shouldn't be here. But here I am. Does that mean he is wrong?"

"Age does not make him right, or anyone," she corrected him and stifled a sigh. "He should probably not have said that. But you were just as wrong too to follow up on it like you did."
Murah managed to look somewhat stern now. The way a mother did when she was very disappointed in her child. "Jedi do not murder."

"He seemed rather certain about his position and he is older. Been with the order longer than the rest of us. Uh, I think. But if punching people to correct them is fine, then stabbing ought to work even better. People whom you punch might come back to pay in kind."

"I did not say that punching them is fine." She corrected somewhat tersely. "Or that Byron was right."
"And you don't stab people either to correct them, Mir. What gave you the idea that that is acceptable?"

"Doloran." he murmured. "Say Master Murah, you watch mandel-oreon shoot two civilians down because well, honor or something. And he's aiming for two other civilians. And you left your saber home. Are you going to watch the mandel-oreon to kill two more people or are you going to shoot him? Or just pretend you didn't see a thing?" Mir's voice was tad accusatory.

"I would subdue him. With my bare hands if need be," she responded without hesitation despite his tone. It wasn't the first time the pacifist had been asked such questions. "Just because others have lost themselves to the point where they freely kill other does not mean I need to give up on my own morals."

"But what if you could not? They are fabled warriors? Is it worth dying in vain to save possibly no-one?" he sounded suspicious. "There is a lot of evil out there." he waved his paw towards the skies and the worlds beyond. "Some of it's not going to wait or listen to words."

"I will not know if it has been in vain before making the effort, and in your hypothetical situation, I would not have time to decide if it would be in vain or not. Besides, I have the Force on my side - I need no weapons," she said calmly.

"Well. I guess." Mir's ears flopped down a little. "And what if he or she comes back later day and kills you, when you least expect? Because bad people do things like that?"

"Mir..." she began, pausing for a moment.
"Do you think I am a stranger to war, or those who choose to fight in them?"

"I guess not? I still think you'd want to live?" Mir asked, tilting head to the side.

"There are probably many people who want me to die. Sith, some Mandalorians I'd guess too, and other members of the Sith Empire. Because I've helped free prisoners of war from their camps, or I've foiled an attack."
She looked at the young feline thoughtfully for a few moments. "... Though, I do not think you're one to understand my point of view easily. I feel this might be a subject that the other teachers can more easily relate to you on, such as Master Orgus, Knight Corvin, or Knight Farissa. They are more warriors than I am, and yet... well, they are not the type to committ murder."

"Un-nuh." Mir nodded. He knew what it meant when people wanted you dead. "Well, not saying you should murder anyone. But to save lives!" he insisted. "Or so I think? It is not murder if you have to kills someone to save people, is it?"

"But was it to save lives? Or was it because you were afraid, Mir?" she retorted.

"Uh, I'm only afraid of more people getting hurt and killed. So if I save them, I am a little afraid yet saving lives?" One of Mir's ear's pointed up while the other was drooped. This meant that the poor farghul was lost and confused with the situation.

"There are many ways to save lives, Mir. Killing should be the last resort to do so," she said after a deep breath.
