"I think I forgot a few parts on that list." silas muttered as he looked ovet the nearly finished product. "I'll just need to use a few things from my parts supply though." He grinned up at Valee. "Looks liek we are going to finish early too!"

"I'm so bored." Gone was all the enthusiasm O'vala had earlier. At the moment, she was slumped on the ground in her squat, head hanging low. "How do you do this like everyday?"

"It won't be too much longer!" Silas said with a grin. "and because I think it's cool! You can take a break though if you want, maybe do some dancing or something to pump yourself up?" Valee liked dancign right, and moving around might help her get back in the mood for work.

O'vala's comm was beeping about an incoming call.
And it was a very familiar number for her too.

The fact that the number was familiar didn't matter at all because O'vala was the sort to just pick up without checking who it is. "Hello, this is O'vala!" she chimed. Surely a comm call would be more fun than work.

"Where are you?!" a familiar sobbing voice inquired in a frustrated tone.

Oh kriff. O'vala smiled real wide for Silas, because obviously nothing was wrong. "Um, I'm doing Jedi stuff right now. You should be too, right?" she poked at random lightsaber stuff in the meantime. Did I break it? Ah crap, maybe I'll have to, uh, buy some additional parts.

Silas wasnt one to pry into conversations, so he busied himself actually working why Valee fidgeted around.
Maybe she had gotten a boyfriend? Byron maybe?

"Why are you acting like I never even existed?!" Avilea shouted angrily through the line, sniffing very loudly as she tried to talk again. "Just doing Jedi stuff? You just left Coruscant without even saying a word!"

"It is Jedi stuff! We're here for the trials." O'vala waltzed a bit away from Silas and huddled over in a corner. "I'm not trying to hurt you. It's just better if we both focus on our studies."

"How can I focus when you're just running off without even talking to me?" she sobbed. "I'm still thinking about us!"

"There, there," O'vala said with a very stilted tone. The best way she knew how to comfort Avilea was to kiss her! That wasn't possible now for multiple reasons! "Maybe you can ask Master Lyshea to lead you through a meditative exercise. Is she there?"

"She's here still," she sniffled. "But... why couldn't you tell me you were leaving? Why, O'vala?"

Silas frowned softly as he tried not to listen in to the conversation. That didnt seem like it was Byron on the other line.
Maybe it was Taime? He was a bit of a pretty boy, and supposedly girls liked the vulnerable types. Taime had looked pretty scared on the field trip too.

"I was trying to keep distance, or something. I thought everyone knew we were leaving the planet." O'vala flopped onto the ground. "Please stop crying."

"No one told me..." she sniffled, and it sounded like she wiped her nose a few times. "Why are you being like this?"

What? It was someone back home? Ow Silas was super interested. He really shouldn't eavesdrop though, so he softly started to hum as he continued to work.
There is no Valee, only training saber.

O'vala tightened her fist on her commlink. "Honey," she started, but then stopped after saying the word. It wasn't the right choice, not now, and the fact that she used it frustrated her more. "I've told you so many times why but you don't listen." It was getting harder to keep it confidential. "Stop thinking only about what you want! There's stuff that's bigger than us!"

"But..." she whimpered and her voice croaked before she managed to reply. "But... didn't I mean anything to you then?!"

O'vala bit her lip and suppressed all the emotions that were swelling up in her. At least, she was doing her best to. "Of course you did. You do. Stop trying to guilt trip me. I'm trying to do what's best for both of us so just listen to me."
