It seems there is a presence of Sith, and it's unmistakeable by now as they are not keeping a low-profile in the bazaar. It seems some of them are stirring up trouble, a group of seven youngsters - students like you it seems - are harassing a family of Ithorians in their family-restaurant, and to your trained eyes it is obvious that they are using the Force to play subtle tricks on the Ithorians' minds to keep them in a state of confusion.

What will you do?

Step 1: United we stand
GM Note:This part will close 24 hours after posting, or if everyone active PC has posted.

Post your entry to the scene, and whether you want to A) seek a peaceful solution with the Sith, or B) use violence to stop them/chase them off. Please make it clear in your post which option you are going for, as that will determine the rest of the Event. The Option with the most "votes" determines the result.

In the case of a fight, those who did not vote for the violent option may choose to not engage in the combat and instead focus on helping the Ithorians present at the scene. They are then not participating in that step of the event, and must wait until the end of combat.

Likewise, if the peaceful solution wins out, those who voted for the violent option may choose to not take part in the following steps, and are free to assume a passive role if they want.

For sake of ease, post your Initiative (using Cool/Presence) in your entry post and any weapons or armor you might have on your person, in case of combat. If you have no wish to partake in combat, there is not need for rolling Initiative, and you just need to say so in your post.

Ares did not like this. Not. At. All. He stood up in a menacing manner, his grip on his new sword tightening.

Mir was trailing Ares, his hair standing. This meant that his tail resembled a bottle brush. Despite this slight setback his eyes scanned the surroundings. He held his right arm close to his body as he grasped the training saber in his paw.

Just so we're 100% clear.

Zanja had never actually seen a real Sith before. If Sith were here on Auratera, shouldn’t the military turn out or something? Sure, the Empire and Republic had signed a peace treaty a few years ago, but that didn’t mean Sith Lords could just go waltzing onto independent worlds and harassing the citizens.

After asking around, though, Zanja realized the supposed Sith were just kids. Some dirtbag teenagers messing with the locals? Nobody should have to call out the guards for that. Zanja knew all about dirtbags, and by and large they wanted to push weaker people around way more than they wanted to actually fight. This could be resolved without anybody having to get hurt. Probably.

It was dinner time, and the promise of food had brought Eir to the area where the Sith were making a scene. Determined not to stoop to their level unless forced, the girl edged closer, waiting to see which way things would swing.

The ringleader of the Sith seemed to be a young woman. She wore a school uniform, although its materials and precise tailoring spoke of extremely expensive custom-make. Her blonde hair was long and artfully done, expensive clothing and expensive grooming combining into a pretty, arrogant, package. Or perhaps just pretty arrogant. She leaned forward with a smirk over the table the Ithorians sat at; they shrank back as she drew near. Her lips moved, but her voice was too soft for the Jedi to hear.

Suddenly she straightened. One hand came up to partially cover her mouth. It did nothing to cover the peals of haughty, mocking laughter that came from the young Sith woman. To her side, a pair of flunkies laughed along with her. The remaining Sith at least grinned.

Those poor gentle Ithorians! When Zizzy saw what was going on she got really annoyed. Sith seemed to be just as bad as Black Sun, and those guys were serious dummies.

She braced herself for a rousing speech about why they should go home and think about what they had done. It was comforting to see that so many of her fellow trainees were here too.

Someone should give that girl fashion tips... School uniforms could be cute and all, but chances are her high school wasn't just up the road. Maybe she couldn't afford anything else and wore it to keep up pretenses? 'If I look rich my friends will think I'm rich' Or something like that?

Either way, what she and her friends was doing was wrong, and someone needed to put a end to it.

O'vala was a champion of truth and justice! This could not stand. It would not stand. She was ready to teach them a lesson of humility rather the good, old-fashioned method of beating them up and then telling them that they're wrong. That's how it worked in all those shows she watched.

Byron glared at the murder of Sithlings.

Taime wasn't impressed by the Sithlings much, especially knowing what he did about the Ithorians from Master Corvin. However, just cause his head was feeling a little hot didn't mean he thought a fight was the best way out.

While what the Sith were doing wasn't right, Esla felt that it was probably best to avoid trouble around here. Perhaps this was a test in itself and the Masters were watching. What would they do in this circumstance? With the recently brokered peace with the Sith, it was best to follow the example of the galaxy.

Step 2: Divided We Fall

The Sith look at you, scoffing disdainfully. "Oh look, Jedi kids coming out to play."

This will be a series of rolls to end the conflict

• Each PC may choose to roll once or assist another PC once. Feel free to coordinate!
• Only one person may assist at a time.
• Advantages can be used to give Boost to the next roll (2 Advantages for 1 Boost), and Threat gives Setback (2 Threats give 1 Setback).
• Triumphs and Despairs can be used to Upgrade the next roll, or the player who rolled the Triumph/Despair may use it instead for narrative effects in the scene - simply let the GMs know.
• We'll have a brief pause between each required roll to give you guys chance to roleplay things out too. Social combat with speaking pauses!

The ringleader turned, her pale blue eyes first widening, then narrowing, lips curling up into a cruel smile.

"Well, well." She said, casually strutting a few steps closer. Angled this way, they could see she carried a sword, the secured to her hip. "If it isn't the Jedi junior section. I should have sensed the self-righteousness as soon as I stepped in the room."

Her chin tilted upwards. "What do you want? You're interrupting our dinner conversation."

If someone wishes to establish dominance and show you're no pushovers, a player may roll:
Leadership (Presence) against Average Difficulty (◆◆) with 1 Setback (for the suddenness of the situation), or Coercion (Willpower) against The Average difficulty (◆◆) with 1 Upgraded Die.

Byron crossed his arms across his chest but did not dignify the woman with a verbal response. Another petty bully high on their power, why did he imagine that this situation was rampant among the Sith.

He even gave her a cool smile as if this was all just the most amusing situation in the galaxy.

"You may be used to owning the places and people back home, but here, others can and will let you know if you're being annoying." Said a strapping young man, standing full height, bolstered by his comrades. He also wore a sword on his hip, and he stood with arms crossed.

"And you're being annoying. To everyone here." He stated simply, while staring into her eyes, his gaze unwavering.

Eir, arms folded and hands tucked inside her sleeves, scowled at the haughty blonde girl, but inside she was cheering as Ares firmly stood up to her. Too wealthy and pretty to have any brains, she mused uncharitably.

"Hmmm." The leader's eyes narrowed again, and she looked Ares up and down. After a moment, she smirked. "It looks like the Jedi come in flavors besides pint-sized and weirdo after all." She cast a scornful eye over the rest of the group.

She waved one hand back towards the Ithorians. "Besides, they didn't think we were being annoying. Did you, hammerheads?" They shook their heads, eyes downcast. Behind her, other Sith glowered and flexed. It was clear that tensions were still high.
