After a few moments of looking Silas wasn't able to find a really all that out of the way place, but he did find a bench near a wall, and as he hunkered in near Cap. He glanced at the screen.

"You should use Acklay Slice here." He said, trying to slip some enthusiasm into his voice.

Ooc: okay, I'm also only stealth two, but you can benefit from my rank in computers.

Byron did his magic, slicing the system with some ease... so much so he was able to actually play a game if anyone looked.

Clash of the Bionoids.

OOC: 1 success and 1 advantage, to make him less suspicious.

The two kids, totally playing some kind of vidya-gaem, managed to slice into the security-feed of the starport's cameras. They saw the Dantooine's Last Hope in one of the hangers, and a couple of small freighters in another hangar. In a third was a large black ship. In the next, what must be the Gilded Serpent, judging by its shiny surface with a paint-job that had a golden serpent along its side.

It looked a little smaller than the Dantooine's Last Hope, and seemed like the kind of ship that would allow for its passengers to travel in pretty good comfort. It seemed to have a ramp on the back into a cargo-hold.

"Dibs on the black ship," Byron joked.

"You can have it." Silas replied, sticking out his tongue.

"Still that gold one looks pretty fancy, I don't know how good it is for transporting stuff." He examined it for a few moments. "But then, if everyone isn't moving in comfort." Silas replied as he looked it over, trying to identify what class of ship it was.

((Roll to identify ship type?))

“Is slavery even illegal here? I just assumed it was, but that might not be the case,” he replied.

That caused Silas to pause. "Well even if it's not we can assume kidnapping is? But still, we should look into that. Maybe you can look up local laws as I try to identify what type of vessel that is?"

Divide and conquer, that way they both had something to do.

Byron agreed and looked up the basic laws of the planet to see if slavery was illegal.

According to their info on Auratera, slavery was not outright banned. There where, however, many laws regarding work ethics and workers' rights that more or less made slavery illegal in that it broke a numerous amount of other laws, but slavery had no explicit mention in their laws. Maybe it was just not something the colonizers had felt the need to legislate against yet?

It was a odd ship, and the paint job was a funny one to boot, so Silas seemed to be having a hard time identifying it. "It doesnt look corellian." He mumbled mostly to himself.

Not Corellian, no, but from one of the other big time shipwrights - most likely a custom-job from Kuat!

Not that it made it harder to gauge how spacious the cargo hold might be as it seemed likely it had converted storage space to luxury space.

"This golden one looks like it's a custom job from Kuat." Silas murmured thoughtfully.

"It doesn't look like it has the storage space to transfer much cargo either. Mostly luxury accommodations from the looks of it." Which meant it likely belonged to someone important.

"It could be a company executive or something setting up a new branch though?" Still that felt like a long shot.

"Well Ogon and Sith are our best leads so we need to follow both up, before we leave this world. I would like to have some answers for the people," he said thoughtfully.

"Yeah." Silas replied with a nod. "Maybe we can look into if Ogon has bought any property in the area?" It couldn't hurt.

"Maybe, it's something to look into at least." Silas agreed with a nod. "Of course it's more likely that the sith have them locked away in their temple or something, but that still leaves the why of it."

"Why kidnap these people?" He shook his head. "It would almost make more sense if they were a cult or something."

Eventually one of the startport security officers strolled past the two youths. "Hey, kids," he said in a polite but kind of authorative-tone, "what you doing here?"

"Kids?"

Byron cleared his throat and said, 'Yeah... we are playing video games. Yep." Sometimes Jedi Cop had to deploy subterfuge and deception, not as cool as punching or explosions but effective.
