Fishing for Food (Day 5 Early Evening, Plaza)

He shook his head. "I wanted to know if I'd have the time for one more get together with all the others before we all leave to who knows where. Master Chriala said that all of us that pass throught the trials together share a bond through the force, and I just thought it would be nice to have a get together with all of us, before we take the next steps on our journey."

"It's an unlikley event that we will all ever be brought back together in one place after all." He smiled slightly and picked up his water. "Of course you and the other teachers will be invitied too."

"Ah, I see... hmm... I guess it could be possible to do that when you get back to Coruscant from Ilum," she said with a slow nod. "Seems like you all are good friends, yes? Thats good. Good. Anyone you like more than the others, hm?" Farissa smiled a little more slyly now.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"That secrets gonna cost ya." Silas replied, sticking his tongue out at the older woman.

"I suppose there are some of the boys I'm better friends with then the others though. Abs and I get along well, and Que is pretty cool."

He didnt know Naps super well though, and Cap and he disagreed on things pretty often.

[Farissa Kho]

"Hey, I'm already paying for your food, I'm allowed to pry a little," she grinned and sipped her drink again.

"Who's Abs and Que?"

"Oh? So that's how this works. You buy someone dinner and you get to pry into their private lives?" His tone was teasing, as he didnt seem to mind.

"But to answer your question, Abs is Ares, and Que is Taime." He offered, picking up his cup and taking a sip.

"As for the other bit, maybe?" I mean Aina and Meli are both pretty cute." Di was pretty fun to hand out with too.

"Isn't it? I mean, if it's not I've been doing my job all wrong all this time! What would my master say?" she feigned shock for a few moments before laughing. "Abs, huh. I can see why you gave him that nickname. And why he's got a girlfriend waiting for him back on Coruscant. Don't quite get the Que, but I guess there's a story there?"

She snickered. "All these nicknames. Do you have nicknames for me and the masters too?"

"Abs got a girlfriend? And he didnt even tell me?" This was going to require some payback. Or at least some grilling for information. "I cant say I'm really surprised though, I bet a lot of girls find him pretty dreamy."

"As for Que? It's just because his name kinda looks like the Basic spelling of the Ryl word for love. So I named him after some ancient spirit of love named Cupid. It helps too that he's a bit of a pretty boy."

It was his turn to look a bit sly. "Nick names? For you and the masters? Would I do something like that?"

Farissa laughed as he explained the meaning behind the nicknames. "Oh, grill him all you want. It's probably good for him."

"And yes, you would do something like that. It's certainly the kind of thing you would do, Silas."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Your wish is my command, Madam." Came the reply laced with false seriousness. "I'll get all the juicy details I can."

"Mmm..." He let the silence build for a moment. "Well, since you asked so nicely, I suppose I could tell you that yours is Ionee."

[Farissa Kho]

"Ionee?" she raised an eyebrow at that, mostly because it was not one that made sense to her. "Care to elaborate? You seem to have a lot of thoughts behind your nicknames. And well... sometimes not. Like Abs."

The young man brought his glass to his lips. "I dunno, I'm not sure if one dinner with a lovely lady is enough to give away all my secrets."

"You're right though, I give some names more thought then others, I suppose. I'm not sure exactly why, I guess it just works out that way."

[Farissa Kho]

"You're not sure?" she chuckled warmly. "At your age, you can't possibly have that many secrets already."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Sure I can, especially since according to Ionee I should use them as bargaining chips to get dinners with ladies." Was Silas' grinning reply.

"But it's from a bit of folklore I read about, a goddess of snow named Khione." His water glass was really quite interesting. "I just kinds chopped off part of it."

She grinned. "You learn quickly. That's a good skill to have," Farissa took a deep drink of her juice.

"Speaking of learning quickly, have you been thinking about your future after the trials are over?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Master Ogrus encouraged me to think of my future after I came to be a knight." His lips curled into a slight frown.

"But I haven't thought about what would happen after the trial itself. Other then I'll be assigned a knight to learn from." He took a sip from his glass. "I suppose I really didn't think I had much choice in that? Like what the knight and I do, or who it is."

"Well, if you have some idea of what you want to do, that could have a lot of bearing on the decision of who you will be assigned to. In some cases, they match master and student to what sort of duties they are most inclined to - myself and my own master being an example of that. While in other cases, a student might be assigned to a master that is very different from them, to balance eachother out, so to speak. Master Jaric is a good example of that," she explained with a small smirk.

"Oh? I suppose that makes sense, though I think Master Orgues said they also try to match a Padawan with a Knight that will teach them about their weak points in undersstanding of the code? Well, it might of been more along the line of matching people that will strengthen the other's weakpoints. I suppose there is a lot to it though, more then I could think of easily."

"I suppose if I thought about it, I'd say I'd like to be able to travel? I want to see more of the galaxy, this is my first time off Coruscant after all, and I feel there is just so much more out there to see. I think I'd like to be able to meet more jedi that can manipulate technology with the force too. I was able to get a grasp of things with Master Murah's, help but I think it was mostly just experimenting? I'd like to get a better grasp of that. Not that theere is any hurry on that count.

"Then as I told Master Ogrus, I want to help people. I really liked freeing those kids from the Black Sun, and I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been poking my nose a little into the disappearences here. With the kiliks out of the picture it leaves only a few leads though, there doesn't seem to be any connection between those that have disappeared either."

"It leads me looking in diffrent places, not that I think the Kilik''s were really responsible in the first place." A small tinge of red hit his cheeks. "Sorry, I think I'm rambling now."

While Silas rambled, food was placed on the table. In the meantime, Farissa listened attentively and let him get it all out.

"Heh, I suppose you are rambling. Nothing bad about that," she grinned and helped herself to one of the calamari-rings. "So what's the theory on these missing people? I might share mine if you're a good boy."

"Well, slavery was the first thing that came to mind." Silas murmured as he started in on his salad, might as well get the veggies out of the way.

"But the people that went missing are from all walks of life, targeting such a varied group seems strange." He pursed his lips thoughtfully. "Then I look at the fact the girl the Sith were harassing last night was a force sensitive and I wonder if that has anything to do with it? The fact that the Sith Lords apprentice was sneaking around our rooms is a good indicator that might have something to do with it too."

"Really though, that many unknown force users seems odd, to say the least. So I'm thinking there is some other thing at play, and I haven't really put my finger on it yet." He shrugged and looked down at the table, before looking up and flashing Farissa a bright smile. "Now, what did you mean exactly by good?"

[Farissa Kho]

"It is a possibility," she nodded in response to his theory. "But I wonder how you're tying in the Sith apprentice there? Surely, if they were looking for Force sensitives, wouldn't he have tried to kidnap you?" Farissa suggested.

"What I mean by good? Ohoho," the Pantoran covered her mouth as she laughed. "Wait and see."
