The queue was getting shorter and shorter as they chatted and sooner than neither could have expected they could see toydarian debate with his friend exactly what they should order, the smaller alien fluttering in the air as it was trying to have his friend agree on something. The smell of charcoals and fried fish hung heavy in the air. Mir peeked around to spy what the vendor had on his grill. To Mir's delight, it was the same toydarian as before, grilling fish and shrimp on sticks. The two pots for sauces sat by the grill, just as before.
"Ohh, fishies." Mir's ears trembled with excitement. "No bread it seems." he noted apologetically. "But fishy good." A short moment later the toydarian and yarkora tool their leave, both carrying a skewer dipped into a suspicious looking brownish sauce.
"Oh, the jedi kids again. How I may help you this time?" the chef-on-wings asked, fluttering effortlessly above his own grill. "Thinfish, fatfish, scalefish, deathfish, ghost shrimps and purple shrimps, Dan'git has it all. the alien proclaimed, pointing his stubby digits at his wares. "Hot sauce and zesty sauce!"

Re: Fish #2 (D6, MM, Bazaar)
Esla pursed her lip with a bit of disappointment that there was no bread to complement the fish but she wasn't too sure if it would have been the same if the bread was made out of seaweed. She gave Mir a faint smile and shrugged. "That's fine. I don't have to have bread and you said that everyone seems to like these fishy...fishies on their own. But I don't think I want any sauce..."
Her gaze wandered over to the sauces on the grill and perhaps spoke more to Mir than the chef actually making the food. "Uhm, what's the difference between all the fishies? And does it have to be with a sauce? Is it really spicy?"

"You can also get a fish without sauce miss, no problemo!" the toydarian gave Esla a thumbs-up. "All fish good, thinfish more bony, fatfish more blubbery, very good. Scalefish meaty but hard. Deathfish very nice. Leaves you all tingly." the chef-of-le-fishies wiggled his fingers. "Dan'git only has the freshest of catches! Anyhow, shrimps are shrimps, soft and juicy! Ghosties have white flesh and purple, well..." grabbing a pair of tongs, Dan'git poked one of the purple humps skewered on a stick. "They are purple. Both delicious, I assure. Our hot sauce is good too, free on fish, good going in, burns very nice, yes." Crossing his stumpy arms the toydarian stopped to regard the duo. "Now, what you would have?
Mir was watching the the display with saliva coating his lips. "Two fatfish onna stick. Zesty sauce!" he pushed his paw towards Dan'git, stabbing two of his digits up in the air.

Re: Fish #2 (D6, MM, Bazaar)
Esla found herself rather overwhelmed by choice and quietly watched Mir make his order effortlessly. The hot sauce didn't sound any more appetizing the more the toydarian talked about it, as she didn't exactly have a good tolerance for anything hot or spicy. The shrimp sounded intriguing, she had to admit but would it be a wise choice to order than when Mir only talked about the fishies here? That didn't to be their speciality. Thinfish seemed to be the right choice but bones didn't make it sound very appetizing.
She could have almost stood there all day debating her life choice regarding buying breakfast until she recalled that long line from behind was still there, except with her at the front this time. It would be unfair to make others wait. Confronted with making a hard decision, she swallowed before speaking. "Uhm...I'll have a fatfish and a ghost shrimp please...No sauce. Is that a good choice, Mir?"

Mir shrugged seemingly nonchalantly. "Should be all delish. Choice between fishy and fishy is no choice at all." He was also rather busy licking the grease of his skewers. Meanwhile the toydarian nodded to Esla and reached for two skewers "Fatfish and shrimp for the lady. That would be oh point six credits, but for you guys, Gan'git it's making it oh point five. The fairest fried fish onna stick on Auratera." the floating alien seemed to be rather happy about himself even as he handed Esla's order to her.
Mir reached into his pocket and handed the chips to the toydarian who happily pocketed to money. "Have a good morning younglings! Aaaand how I may serve you? With that the peddler's attention moved to the two blueish humanoids who had stood quietly behind Mir and Esla.
"I suggest we head to the beach. it's very pretty." Mir mumbled while nibbling one of his sticks, his ears's twitching ever so slightly. "I hope you like the beach?"

Esla smiled faintly as she was cut a deal on the fish without asking for it, which are the best deals in her mind! She took the skewers in her gloved hands after handing over the credits for payment. "Thank you! That's very nice of you. And thank you, Mir. You have a good morning."
She ducked her head at the chef to excuse herself afterwards and made her way over to where Mir was after he made his purchase. Watching him curiously, she followed his lead and gave the skewer a lick before she realizing that might not be something she wanted to do. "Uhm, sure! The beach was okay, feeling the ocean on your feet and hands was pretty interesting but I don't think I will be doing that today."

"Didn't mean swimming. Just walk." the young farghul insisted while nibbling on his fatfish. "It's nice and warm. Just wish it wasn't this bright all the time." he squinted his eyes behind his shades. "At least there are the curtains for the night." With the fish bit cooler, Mir bit the fish head clean of the stick, chewing it happily. Luckily for Esla he kept his mouth closed as he ate, though this was more to ensure that he didn't drop anything rather than the concern for his fellow creatures.
"Are there many jedi in your family?" he asked out of nowhere. "My mom told me my grand-grand-grand mother was a vedma. Umm... someone who healed people with the Force. A wise-woman. But that it's rare among us."

Esla gave a relieved nod and walked alongside the farghul. "I think it's pretty neat to have a place that's almost day all of the time. I feel more awake even in the later hours but I can imagine it gets a bit exhausting after a while...I guess people must be used to it around here. There are some pretty dark days on Centa, especially during the snowy seasons. Seeing all of this sun is refreshing."
She blinked when Mir took off the fish head, possibly bones and all. Slowly averting her gaze, she instead worked on hers so she didn't end up choking on any of the bones. Her inner physiology was probably less tolerant. "I, uhm...No. I don't think there are many Jedi in my family. I might even be the first, probably."

"Well, it is better than near-always darkness." Mir murmured in agreement. Doloran's suns were far from the planet and the air was filled with heavy smog."Though I think I wouldn't want to live here all the time." he shook his head, his whiskers wobbling. "Even with all the curtains. I'd miss seeing the stars."
"Mmmh, we got snow on Doloran too, but it was almost grey or dirty. The air wasn't the best with all the fires at the scrapyards." Mir explained, wrinkling his nose. "I kinda hated that. The place was cold enough without snow around. It made everything slippery too."
"Oh I see." the young farghul nodded as Esla spoke. "Your family must be proud then." At least he had been told that it was a privilege to become a jedi. He himself had agreed to be trained in exchange for warm bad and free food. Back then the deal had seemed pretty sweet. Even if Pollo hadn't been quit as frank as he had hoped. "You plan to go back home after you become a jedi, then?"

Re: Fish #2 (D6, MM, Bazaar)
"Daylight seems harder to come by. If you have a ship, maybe you could consider going into space once in a while?" Now that she thought about it, there weren't many stars in Coruscant at night. "But ships are hard to get and I wouldn't know how to pilot one if I lived here."
"I heard there might be snow on Ilum, or at least it will be cold..." She murmured before a few nibbles of fish.
Esla couldn't help but give a small shrug when her family was mentioned. "I guess they were okay with it, it came as a surprise, actually." Her tone seemed to indicate it was more an accident than a celebrated blessing. "I think I will go home but surprised has changed so quickly before I left, ever since I found. I don't think that things will be like before. It will be so strange."

"Don't think most here can afford a ship." he looked around. Sure there was wealth and prosperity but space ships didn't grow on trees. "But if I lived with a ship. Well, I think it's not the same. Stars on the sky are prettier. Up there they are are different, no?" Mir pointed his paw. "Don't you think so?" blue eyes glanced at Elsa, the eyes narrowing behind the shades. This was how the farghul smiled.
"Mhmhm. I heard that too. That's why I got a warm coat. Well, two. And lantern to stay warm in the night. I hope it's enough." He might have been tad paranoid when it came to the weather, but somehow he expected the trip wasn't going to be walk in the Coruscant high park. "You got stuff ready?"

"No, it's probably not the same," she said with a sheepish smile and a shrug. "I prefer to be on land rather than on a ship. I guess I haven't been on a ship or in space very much before my training. But that's an alternative around here at least, maybe the only alternative. It must be like day and night for the inhabitants here, so to speak."
"I think I'm ready...I was shopping with the others when it came to being ready. Zizzy and O'vala seem to know what they're talking about," she gave a slow nod, not completely sure but it was as sure she was going to get until they landed.

"Trip here was my second time in space. Well, third if you count when I was taken from Farrfin. I don't remember much of that trip, except that I was afraid." Mir's ears flattened and he sound uneasy. "Trip here was the only real fun trip I've had. Even if all I did was study, sleep and eat." In Mir's books that was still ok. Sleeping and eating was pretty good. The way he looked at his fish likely told Esla as much.
"Good, good." he nodded. "I have't talked with Zizzy much. O'vala sounded like a ditz." Mir noted all to honestly. "But I'm sure she'll do well. She wouldn't be here otherwise. I think." the masters were supposed to know the students they had chosen were at least mostly ready. "I have my fur going for me, which is nice." he patted his arm, sounding rather pleased. "Helps with the cold!"

Re: Fish #2 (D6, MM, Bazaar)
Esla nodded slowly in sympathy, getting a sense that he might have hinted on his harsher days where people got ganked, or something. She paused to take a few more bites of the fish before she continued on. "I'm sure we'll get more trips like this in the future but they will probably be less like class trips and more missions...whatever they might expect from us after our trials if we become Jedi."
She pursed her lip in thought for a moment at his opinion of O'vala. Esla couldn't make much of one of the other girl, they had just met briefly, but she found her talkative and upbeat at least. "Zizzy sounded like she would be ready, at least. I have a lot of layers from my days on Centa, so I think I would be fine...I also might have bought too much while I was with O'vala and Zizzy."
Sometimes sitting on a bunch of credits did make her overspend when she didn't have to.

"Mhmmh, missions! A chances to set wrongs right. Awesome." he tapped the side of his shades with his paw before taking another bit from his fish he held on the other paw. "Hopefully. That seems to be for the most part what the jedi are doing. That and talking. A lot of talking." he didn't seem to impressed with that particular line of duty. "That don't think I can do that bit. But I can stand there and look scary or something."
"Mhmhm, well I bought a survival kit, ropes and lantern and coat and whatnot." he explained, making a mental list all the things his kit had contained. "Lotsa stuff, should help. But I don't plan to head out if I don't have to. Don't like cold that much." So the two walked along the beach, chatting about the trials and occasionally the fish which Mir seemed to consider about as important.
