Datapad Discovery (Day 6 Early Eve DLH)

He was definitely not listed as a casualty. There was mention of him, but not enough to track down elsewhere; just enough to confirm that he was in the war, and didn't die in it. Or, so far as could be determined, anything else.

At least, so the records indicated.

The girl clucked her tongue and rapidly drummed her claws on the desk in front of her. Finally, she snorted and pushed back from the console. "I think someone was trying to wind me up," Eir waved her hand dismissively at the screen.

That caused Silas to raise his eyebrow. "Now you have me interested." He murmured in return. "Not that you need to tell me of course."

[Eir]

"You remember Lord Destrus, right? Well, I took him up on his offer to tour the Sith Temple, which was pretty awesome, by the way," she interrupted herself. "He said something about there being an arkanian Jedi called Sembylus, so I think he was just blowing smoke." Indicating to the screen, "like, sure, there was a Jedi Sembylus, so what? Like it would be that hard for a Sith Lord to know a few names." Eir deliberately left out the relative unlikelihood that Destrus would specifically know an arkanian Jedi to taunt the girl with, not to mention the wide and varied rumours of her absent parentage.

"Maybe he thought he was related? A lot of times force sensitivity moves through bloodlines after all." Silas offered with a shrug.

"Not, that a sith could do more then guess about that. It's not like the Sembylus fellow is the only Arkanian jedi out there." He smiled. "So you're right, he was probably using the information to get you worked up somehow."

"I am curious what was neat about the Sith Temple though."

[Eir]

Eir shrugged, "I mean, a race so deep into eugenics? We're probably all related." Happy to talk about something else, "their architecture is really different to the Jedi temple, but in some ways it's really similar. Like, the Force is gently channelled through the Temple architecture, but the Force is the Force, so, y'know," the girl steepled her little hands, "pyramids are foundational. It's not like they built them upside-down or whatever."

In fact he really didn't know, Silas wasn't as sensitive to the way the force flows as some of the other students were after all. He couldn't sense it in quite the way they could. Still he nodded, he'd already went over his deficency before, and he didn't really see the need to belabor the point.

"Anything else? Or just the way the force flowed through it?" She had said it was pretty awesome after all.

Eir screwed up her face, “I dunno, it’s... cold. Like, the Jedi Temple feels welcoming, you want to go in, but the Sith one has a definite Stay Out kinda vibe.” Shrugging one shoulder, “maybe I’m just like, an architecture nerd or something.”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"You do seem to liek archetiteure." Silas replied his tone a little teasing. "Not that there is anything wrong with that, I suppose I'm just more a fan of machines and ships then I am with buildings." Buildings didn't tend to move around after all.

"Though I suppose I do kinda like ruins, they're pretty neat to explore, it's exciting trying to find out the secrets sthat might of been hidden there." On second though, maybe he just liked secrets.

Eir smiled, “I just like stuff.” Opening her pack, she took out a custom toolkit and showed it to Silas. It was a little smaller than a standard toolkit, but not as streamlined as it could be. “I made this before we left Coruscant, kinda just to see if I could.”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

Stuff was pretty neat, well as far as Silas was concerned. Looking over the toolkit the young man grinned. "This is pretty nice, Pixie. Pretty portable too."

""Though I suppose its possible to bring the weight down a bit more too if that was your aim. Maybe use a different composite?"

[Eir]

Nodding, “yeah, I’ve been toying with the idea of having another crack at it. The materials aren’t exactly cheap, though, and what would I even do with two toolkits?”

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I gave my spare to Que." Silas offered thoughtfully. "I suppose you could check if anyone else needed one? Or maybe trade it for crafting supplies to someone in the city?" It couldn't hurt to try at the very least.

[Eir]

"I might just donate it to the Order, I'm sure they wouldn't say no."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Not a bad idea either." Silas replied with a grin. "I'm sure more then a few people could use one." If not here then maybe back on Coruscant.

[Eir]

Putting her toolkit away, Eir sighed wearily. It had been a long day, "I think I'm going to head to the Temple, you staying here?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"For a bit more." Silas relied with a smile.

"Have a good night, ok?"

[Eir]

"Yeah, you too," she hopped down off the tall stool, it was a bit of a drop for her. "See you in the morning," she slung her rucksack on her shoulder and headed out.

"See you tomorrow!" He delivered Pixie a friendly wave before turning back to the screen.
