Snow Mk 1 (Day 8 Early Morning)

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Snow snoops sounds lovely, though I think you may have a bit of trouble baking the ice bread." Silas replied with a playful grin. "Something tells me it would sink in the baking process."

"Science..." He looked at one of the snowballs he had made, then tossed it at Meli. "I think I can get behind that!" He said with a laugh as he dashed away, the rest of his ammunition in his hand."

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy reached up to catch the snowball and it smashed into pieces on her hand instead. She laughed and threw one back at Silas.

"Maybe snow's not so bad. You can't do this with sand. It just gets everywhere."

"Everywhere? You make it sound like you got sand in your swimsuit, Meli." Silas teased, ducking under the snowball, though the manuever caused him to stubble through the snow.

He righted himself soon enough though, and another soft ball of snow went flying towards the Mikkian girl.

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy laughed, dodging Silas's throw and threw more of them back at him. "No, my suit was nicely fitted. It's getting the sand out if my tendrils that takes forever. Snow's better that way at least."

"I know, I could tell." Silas replied with a teasing grin, dodging out of the way, of Meli's throw. Though one did manage to barely swim a arm.

"I guess that does make too advantages to snow though, with only one to sand at the moment." Fire was returned in the form of two snowballs thrown towards Meli, though it seemed he had to pause to restore his ammo after.

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Oh could you now?" She blew him a kiss. Then, rather than throw a snowball she called on the force to throw a bunch of snow that covered Silas.

"I know, that's cheating, but it's pretty funny." Zizzy giggled and tucked her thermal cloak a bit tighter.

"Hey!" That was definitely, cheating and without any awesome snow throwing powers of his own Silas had but one recourse.

Picking up two big handfuls of snow he went dashing after Meli. There would be payback!

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Hey you wish you were that good!" She laughed as she ran away from him, though eventually he would catch her. At least they were keeping warm.

"I may not be that good, but at least I'm faster!" Silas replied with a grin, as he dropped one of the snow balls, so he could grab her wrist and pull her close.

"Got Ya." He said with a smile, lifting his handful of snow menacingly above her head.

[Zizzy Roosh]

She looked at him defiantly. "I guess you leave me with no choice!"

Zizzy didn't use the force to knock the snow away. She didn't grab her training saber and swing wildly at him. She just leaned in and kissed him.

It was very distracting.

So distracting there was no way he would remember what he had been going to do with the snow.

She wasn't wrong there, in fact it was so distracting he didn't even manage to hold on to his handful of snow, and it dropped uselessly onto the ground.

It was his first kiss, and probably a little bit awkward, but such was the way of things. "That's cheating." He murmured a little breathlessly as the kiss ended. Not that he sounded like he minded in the least.

Zizzy pulled away with a smile that was warmer than Silas's thermal cloak. "Well that was nice, but we'd already established that I'm a big cheat Silas."

With a giggle she grabbed his hand and starting leading him back to the base. "Episode 27: I kissed a Jedi and I liked it. Come on Silas, we've explored enough for the moment, don't you think?"

Silas couldn't really argue with that, though now he was quite curious if she knew how much she was cheating all along. It seemed likely. "I think Master Ogrus refers to it as using every advantage you have. He might be proud that you're paying attention."

He laughed as she grabbed his hand and they started walking back towards the base. She liked it, that meant they could do it again right? "Yeah." The young man agreed with a grin. "Best get inside before I try and imitate Episode 63: Vera and the Snowpeople of Hoth."

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Master Orgus is very wise for a human. You can tell him I said that " She laughed happily. "Yeah, I heard Episode 63 was done as a dare. I mean the villain's dialogue was bad, those costumes were terrible, and Vera just told puns the entire time. I can only take so many puns."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I will." He replied, his hand shifting in hers slightly so their fingers could intertwine. "Though I suppose that means I need to work on using things too my advantage too."

"Even, Vera's!" He agreed with a laugh. "And that like never happens" A playful smirks made it's way onto his lips. "But I can't believe you didn't like. 'What killed the Rancors!? The ice age!?' Or 'Ice to meet you.' "

[Zizzy Roosh]

Zizzy rolled her eyes. "Yeah one or two of those would have been fine, but 'You're not sending me to the cooler?' and 'There snow place like home?' it was like, every line!"

As they walked back to the landing base it was clear that no-one else had been out this way since the last snowfall. Just one set of tracks out and one set back.

"It's nice and peaceful here, don't you think?"

He couldn't help but laugh at that. "Yeah, you're right. Though I have to admit I watch it still from time to time. It's just so cheesey? It makes me laugh a little, Especially that Wompa costume."


"It really is." Silas mused, slowing to a halt so he could look around the base and the fields of snow most of them unbrowen by movemnt, at least on this side. "It's different then what I'm used to, but I think I kind of like it." He cleared his throat, a bit of pink touching his cheeks. "Though I think I might find it a bit boring in time if I didn't have the right company?"

"Oh that wampa costume, that was like: is that two Jawas in a suit?" She rolled her eyes, but humourously. It was fun to talk about this stuff.

"Yeah, I wouldn't want to be here forever. I mean, beach volleyball is completely out. It's a nice place to visit but, yeah, good company definitely helps. I guess with good company and some serious mystery I'd keep myself occupied." She gave him a cheeky grin. "Let's get back to base so you can plan out how you're going to win this snowball fight of yours."

"That's the one! I kept thinking one of the two would fall off the others shoulders." That would of been an absolute disaster.

"Beach barbeques too." Not to mention swimsuits, not that he was thinking about swimsuits at the moment, or Meli in hers.

Silas' eyes wandered down to glance at the young woman at his side. "Yeah, we probably should, before I decide to take drastic measures and attempt to tickle your strategies out of you or something."

[Zizzy Roosh]

"I suppose we could get posted anywhere. Who do you think you'd like to... Oh right, Farissa! That's who you want to be a Padawan with, right?" She couldn't help teasing him.

"No tickling for you young man." Her hands were on her hips like she was lecturing Black Sun thugs.
