The waiting game (Day 10 LM)

Silas hung around the dining room admftet his meal. They would be entering the crystal caverns later today, and while he wasn't exactly nervous he was a but anxious. Waiting was the worst part afterall.

Taking a deep breath he looked at the ceiling, he just needed to think of other things right? Things that didnt involve pretty green girls and soft lips.

Carrying a cup of warm caf, Farissa passed through at a slow pace as she sipped from her mug. "Oh hi, Silas," she gave a wave as she noticed the student.

Silas glanced down from where he had been studying the ceiling. "Hi, Ionee." He replied with a wave at the lovely blue woman.

"Having a good morning?" He asked with a warm smile, maybe he should of got a cup of caf too.

"The crystal cave will be opened soon, so it's a good morning, I'll say," she smiled as she took another sip. "Excited? Nervous?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

A impish smile made it's way onto his lips. "Bored?" He said simply before a light laugh rolled from his lips.

"Really I'd say a bit of both? Though I'd say more excited on nervous. I had to give up on drinking Caf, or else I might start bouncing off the walls." His voice took on a whiny, childish tone. "Why aren't the caves open yet~."

Farissa chuckled. "I can relate to that feeling... it's pretty intense to wait for something like this. It was the same for me, and the rest of us too. Though don't tell Master Jaric that we know he was once a giddy young boy too like you."

She smirked and her eyes watched him with some amusement. "It will take longer the more often you ask that~."

"That secret is safe with me." Silas replied with a serious nod. "I mean, he'd probably try and make me run laps or something if I mentioned it anyways." Even if it was pretty amusing to imagine.

Oh? They were playing this game? His own eyes were dancing with amusement, but he managed to keep the grin off his lips. "But Ionee, I want to know what color my crystal will be~"

"It will be bright pink!" she exclaimed with a big grin. "Aren't you excited?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Very!" He flashed a grin and llaughed a little. "There is nothing wrong with pink after all!" A short pause. "Though I figure there are a bunch of people out there that might be embarassed to be defeated by the man with the pink saber."

"What color is your saber though? I don't think I ever asked."

[Farissa Kho]

Rather than answering, Farissa removed her saber from its holster and ignited the double-blade. It glowed with an indigo color.

"Having a blue lightsaber might've been a bit too cliche?"

The quip about there being no lightsabers in the hallways died on his lips as Silas' eyes were drawn to the blade. "Wow, that's beautiful..." He managed afetr a few moments of staring.

"And you're right about the blue, it probably would be a bit too much.. Like all those Sith girls with their red clothes, and red lightsabers, and red lingerie." He flashed the older woman a grin. "You need to mix it up sometimes."

Farissa raised an eyebrow. "Red lingerie? Silas, do I even want to know how you know that...?" she asked with an almost seductive tone.

She spinned the saber with a flourish before extinguishing the blade.

He couldn't help but blush a bit at her tone, and he found himself looking away. "Just a guess really, but I figure that's what they have to pass out in Sith Academy or something. Well, that and black."

"It's not like I'm peeping on Sith girls or something." He added defensively.

[Farissa Kho]

"Suuuure," she teased him a little. "I saw how you chatted with that Drascovina girl, you know. Did you get to take her measurements for those outfits you were going to design for her?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

He stuck out his tongue in response. "You make it out like I have a subscription to Sith girl monthly or something." He half grumbled before shaking his head.

"Nah, strangely enough she knew them off the top of her head." So had Aina now that he thought of it, he dismissed the thought from his mind though as his lips curled into a slightly teasing smile. "But I have my tape ready for whenever you're ready for your new dress."

Farissa tossed her hair as she laughed. "Are you sure you're ready for that kind of distraction before your final trial?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

He coughed his cheeks turning red as he looked away. "I've had a bit of practice with distractions lately, so I could probably manage."

"But its likely wiser not to tempt fate, so it can probably wait until tomorrow. I mean I might really end up with a pink crystal if that's all that's on my mind."

[Farissa Kho]

"Probably for the best," she snickered and eased up on the teasing. "It's best not to have your mind wandering elsewhere during this part. It might seem a bit silly to say that there is a crystal for each one, but it does seem to be true... at least, that's how it was for me and everyone else I've spoken to about it."

He was rather relieved she didnt follow up on the hint he dropped, he probably should be a bit more cautious. "Yeah, that's what I heard." Silas replied after a moment.

"Which means I should probably come up for a name for it. Since we are going to be partners after all." Did crystals have a gender?

[Farissa Kho]

"If you like," she nodded. "Some people give names to their lightsabers, some don't. It's an individual thing, really. Maybe it comes down to how much time they spend on playing around with it?" Judging by her smirk, it almost seemed like a double-entendre.
