Grrrr! [Day 9 LA, open]

Zanja sat on a low cushion by an ice-laced window in one of the temple's common rooms, a scatter of small electronic parts spread across her lap and the floor around her. The expression she wore was unusually stormy, even for her, and she looked a bit tired and disheveled--partly from her recent adventures out on the ice, but partly because of the smaller, fiddlier, and altogether more difficult adventure in which she was currently engaged.

"Ugh, what is wrong with you?" she muttered, flicking a tiny transistor with a fingernail so it skittered across the stone flooring. It wasn't entirely clear whether she was talking to the inanimate machine part or herself.
