Deactivating her saber, "teamwork," Eir cheered and held her fist out to bump with the girl.

He listens closely, glad that he wasn't being shamed at least for his failure. Nodding along with Orgus's words, he squared up and tried again, attempting to relax and tap into the Force. And this time, his nerves didn't get in the way.

He moved to the side, blocking the shot cleanly and then stepping back to tap the droid for a hit.

"There you go." Orgus nodded. "You got it."

He studied Taime for a few moments, hands on his hips. "Just focus on the deflecting for a bit. Soresu may be about waiting for an opening, but sometimes that takes a lot of waiting. It's good for cultivating patience. You don't get the occasional satisfaction of hitting the training remote."

He nods. "Yes Master Orgus. I will continue."

He throws the remote back up, watching Orgus out of the corner of his eye for a moment, before focusing on the deflection. And that focus is absolute.

"Yes!" Tanya said, grinning. She quickly deactivated her saber before reaching up, bumping her fist against Eir's. Puling it back, she gave her best approximation of an explosion sound, waving her fingers as she did so.

He nods. "Yes Master Orgus. I will continue."

He throws the remote back up, watching Orgus out of the corner of his eye for a moment, before focusing on the deflection. And that focus is absolute.

Watching, Master Orgus gave a slow nod of approval. But no words. For a Jedi master, that was pretty good, really.

Satisfied that Taime was doing well, he moved on.

Only someone who knew Taime well would know it, but inside he was beaming. He nodded. He's never done that before.

Taime went to his work with vigor, trying to earn all the approval he could before the missions started. The Jedi were his family. He had to show them his best.

Tanya stood up straighter. "Great job, senior student! Together, we defended, um, the senate! Against, ummmmmmmmmmmmm..." She put on her thoughtful look again. "Who did we defend them against?"

She tilted her head to the side again, chewing her lip thoughtfully. "Maybe we could train again sometime? I think you helped me a lot, and it was more fun, too." She nodded firmly.

Ares smiled, and moved to pick up a remote. He clicked a few things, and threw it in the air. "What, the imaginary sith hit too hard?"

"Hey now." She stuck her tongue out at him and settled into her stance as the remote started to move around. "Jedi work together. You can fight the sith, I'll point them out to you."

Fzaap. "Ugh." It hit her, but she moved into a good position to smack it one in return.

"Your help will be greatly appreciated. I shall shoulder bump their lightsaber to death." He replied sarcastically. Still, he smirked, and observed her. "Not bad. Try again. Pay attention."

[Zizzy Roosh]

"Yea...ugh." She finally deflected one shot, only to get hit by a second while she was busy feeling pleased with herself. She muttered something under her breath.

"Maybe I should just learn telekinesis."

"Mandalorian assassins!" Tanya agreed with an eager nod. "Well fought! Yeah."

She tilted her head to the side again, chewing her lip thoughtfully. "Maybe we could train again sometime? I think you helped me a lot, and it was more fun, too." She nodded firmly.

"Sure thing, Tanya. I'm going to be away on Jedi business for a bit, but when I get back, okay?"

With a small smile, Eir closed her eyes and nodded once, "a little, but I have faith in the Force."

"I bet you loved every minute of it too." She sighed before pulling herself together. "Okay. Resilience." Zizzy got hit several times but as time went on she started to deflect more and more of the shots from the remote. It was a start at least. Perhaps Ares' words had really had the desired effect.

"No, I hated it." He turned more solemn. He did hate it, but every time, he got up and thought of his parents' body, burned and cut, and he soldiered on.

Zizzy didn't need to know that though. He observed her clinically. "Better. That's a good start. Yeah. Pay attention. Your senses are sharp. Listen, anticipate and act. Strength is useful, but it is not what decides a duel between Force users. You don't need muscles to shove a lightsaber through someone. You need to be able to hit them. Same in defence, you need to be ready to parry and reflect at a moment's notice. Yeah, that way. That's it."
