Ares nodded. "I will speak to him for sure. His defenses were highly impressive today." He smiled. "Did you try other other forms before settling on Juyo? Besides Shii-Cho?"

"Not really, to be honest. I did give a brief study to all the Forms, but nothing too deep to truly learn them - only enough to learn the basics to understand how they work and how to fight when facing them. As a teacher, I have given a bit more study to them though, but I'm hardly one to teach these forms."
He sighed a little. "Shii-cho just felt natural to me, as did Juyo."

"Yeah, I understand. I will want to explore some of the other styles. I was talking to Knight Farissa today about Shien, and I will visit Master Orgus as well." He glancedd down at his blade once again. "I want to make sure I live up to my parents, and don't bring shame to their legacy."

"You won't," he assured the young man. "You are a good student, and have strong discipline and focus. I am confident you will not shame them."

"Thankyou master. That means a lot." He hesitated for a moment. "Master Jaric, I heard you like to fight with two sabers... is that true?"

Jaric nodded in confirmation, his expression neutral. "Yes, when the situation calls for it. In battle it has served me well. It does require a high level of skill to use efficiently, without hampering yourself - it is already difficult to keep track of a lightsaber, as it is a weapon with hardly any weight to give you a good idea of its movements compared to a sword like this," he gestured to the old blade. "Sometimes, the focus of a single lightsaber is better than trying to use two. As always, you must adapt to the situation at hand."

Ares pondered. "Do you think it is worth trying my hand at dual wielding, or should I wait until later? Is it worth it to start early, I wonder." He seemed to fall in thought. "Are there any forms that place a particular focus on dual wielding? Or wielding dual bladed sabers, do you know?"

"Nothing wrong in starting to train with it now, so that you become adjusted to it. At some point, you must learn when it is right to adapt to the right tactic in a fight - single saber or two sabers."
He sighed thoughtfully. "Much of it is preference. Ataru tends to lend itself well to two or dual-blades, because of its rapid assault-style, but as with many things, you find what works for you. Shien has no special preference for dual-blades, yet Knight Farissa feels most comfortable with a dual-blade."

Ares nodded. "Thank you master. There is much for me to think on." He sighed. "I appreciate it, and your time." He glanced at the sword, and smiled. "And your trust in me."

"Anytime, Ares. Anytime," he gave a brief nod to the young man. "We're here whenever you need us, you know. Not just me."
