D2, ME,- Chowing down

[Taime Jorel]

Taime was feeling a little better after his talk with Eir and decided that sulking in their room wasn't a terribly bright thing to do. So some food would be the next order of business. Sitting down at an empty table, he focused on eating methodically, puzzling over some lightsaber technique in his head.

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Hi, Que!" Silas offered as he plopped down across from his fellow trainee, pausing a moment before asking the obvious.

"Mind if I sit here? Or is Pixie gonna want this seat?"

Taime looked around, trying to figure out who this person was talking to. Realizing when he sat down that it was him, his confusion continued. "Uhh. My name's Taime. I don't know who Que is. or Pixie. But yeah you can sit."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"You're, Que." Silas offered with a nod. "And Pixie is your girlfriend." At least they had seemed like they were dating. "But thanks, I'm Silas." He beamed a smile at the other boy as he picked up his silverware.

Taime paused, still sort of off his game. "She's not my girlfriend..." He says, hating that this always happened. "We grew up together, that's all." He gave a small smile back.

"So why am I Que?"

That didn't quite ring true for Silas, they didnt really look like siblings to him. Not that he was a expert. "Oh? Do you have another girl you like then." He asked as he dug into his dinner.

"Because you look like a Que." He said in explanation a moment latter.

Everyone here is so friendly. Does everyone ask questions like this all the time? "Uhh. No. Not really. I've been...pretty focused on getting here."

He brushed off the Que part, cause he had literally no idea what on Nagi that meant. "What about you? Is there anyone you like?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Huh." That was a bit disappointing, but then the guy was pretty new. "Any hobbies then?"

At the question silas paused thoughtfully. "No one in particular." He replied after a moment. "But Valee is pretty cute, and Di is too, especially if you can make her smile. Meli is pretty gorgeous, and so is Aina. I suppose I don't know Pixie well enough to say for sure." Then there was the bombshell that was Farissa.

Man, maybe I am kind of boring.

"Uhh. I like...watching vids sometimes? And seeing new places. We traveled a lot before the trials. It was cool." He listens to him rattle off the various qualities of each girl, somewhat baffled. "Wow, you've really gotten to know a bunch of people. I've only met a few."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"I've been here a long time." Silas offered with a grin. "So I know lots of people. " it was a simple explanation but as good as any.

"Traveling sounds fun. I watch all kinds of vids, and make things like costumes and armor. I want to make some of the costumes from Force Caliber 6, but I need people to wear them."

"Oh! Have you played Force Caliber 6?" If not, that would have to be remedied.

Taime blinked, working hard to follow the rapid trains of thought Silas was expressing. "You make armor? That's cool! How do you do that?" There must be a thousand different ways to make something like that.

Force Calber 6 sadly was not a topic he was informed on. "Uhh...I don't think so. What's it about? Is it like a story?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yeah, I'm still not super good, but I'm getting better! Maybe I can try to make you something sometime?" It was good to practice after all.

"Oh, Force Caliber 6 is a fighting games. It's a bit over the top, and not all that force related but it's fun. And some of the character designs are really cool!" He grinned. "You and Pixie should come play sometime!"

Am I weird or is he weird? Maybe I can ask Eir.

"I mean, I wouldn't want to take up your time. I'm sure the training will be pretty strenuous." He cocks his head to the side. "So why is it called Force Calber 6 if there's not much Force in it?"

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"It's important to know when to relax though." Silas replied with a smile. "But you dont have to come if you don't want to."

"Well, that's because it's based on stuff people think force users can do." The redhead said with a chuckle. "It wasn't made by jedi, so it's not exactly right, it's still cool though!"

[Taime Jorel]

He ponders it. "I would have to admit relaxing not my strongest skill. But I guess I should strive for a bit more balance. That's what we're supposed to do, right?"

He looks unsure for a moment. "So its like tactics and stuff? But done by people who don't use the Force? That sounds kind of fun."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"Yup!" You couldn't work all the time and never play. "Being Balanced is good for us, if we dont relax the stress can pile up until we lose our balance." That seemed like something the masters would say. Right?

"That's close enough!" He offered with a grin. "If we dont get to play before we leave, maybe we can play some on the ship!"

Taime's brow furrowed and he looked down for a moment. "Well, it sounds like I have some learning to do. I'd be glad to learn from you." He said, his face far more serious than Silas likely intended.

"I will make some time. This is clearly an area I've been neglecting in my studies."

[Silas Myles Pearson]

"It's not really something you need to study." Silas replied with a laugh. "That would actually be the complete opposite of what you need to do!"

"Still, I'll do what I can to help you out!" Que needed to learn how to relax after all.

Shaking his head, Taime sighed. "I plainly have a great deal to learn. But I'm glad to have a teacher, at least." He gave a small smile at Silas.

"So how does one play 'Force Caliber 6'?" He said, pronouncing the game carefully, as it was a foreign language.

Silas paused to blink a few times at that question. "I see I'm going to have to start from the beginning." He said with a nod.

"It's best to learn by doing when it comes to Force Caliber 6, though." He pulled out his datapad. "For now, I'll link you some vids to watch to see what it's like."
