"Aaaand finished!" She looked at the others and then at the door. She wondered what they were about to find hidden behind the door.

Byron drew his sword and said, "Well done, I wonder what else we will have to do?"

“Easy, huh?” Zanja looked on with a faint scowl (also known as Resting Zabrak Face) as Zizzy tackled the puzzle. She tensed up in anticipation as the door slid open.

As the door slid open, the final room on the map began to blink red.

It wasn't so much a room as a brief extension of the wide corridor they were in, ending suddenly in a wall. The students would get a brief glimpse of a transparent case against that wall, a metal cube suspended within.

The view was blocked, though, by the droid that quickly unfolded itself from in front of the case. It was large, made of some dark grey metal, and unusually cuboid in form, being made up of a series of squares and rectangles. Except for the two poles that extended suddenly from what might be called its hands, crackling with electricity. Those were cylinders, of course.

"ϟ₪#$★♈" it rumbled in a metallic voice as it advanced.

Byron was in the moment and the Force gave him foresight to sense what the danger nano-seconds before the door spread open so he was ready when it advanced violently.

“What the—?” Zanja was... moderately ready for trouble.

"Well done, Meli!" Kai offered in excitement as she solved the puzzle. He went quiet a few moments later though as the droid started moving.

Still he was ready for it.

Her tendrils spotted the danger and she found herself moving into a ready stance without really thinking about it. She was really glad the others seemed to be moving quickly too.

Byron advanced forward in a more measured stance and then struck true with his ancient blade, dealing a critical strike to internal systems hopefully impairing some of it’s attack capability.

Silas wasn't quite sure if his training saber would do anything at all to this behemoth, but he had left his hydrospanner at home. So drawing it and stepping forward he struck at the creature.

Sadly it managed to dodge to the side.

Zizzy attempted to get around the droid to grab the little cube in the box. Unfortunately with all of the melee going on around it she couldn't quite get a grip on it. However, she did get close enough to see a better way of grabbing it next time the opportunity presented itself.

The droid clicked and whirred angrily, turning to focus on the one who'd actually struck it. "ϟ₪#$★♈" it said, possibly again, as it swung one of its crackling electrical poles at Byron.

Byron took careful stock of the droid and then struck quickly trying to keep it off balance and buy time for Zizzy to get the object. As long as he could keep it focused on himself was more time for her to get the job done; he smirked and said, “Stupid droid, don’t worry the feeling is mutual.”

His attack was true but it would leave an opening…

As the trainees pressed their attack against the droid, Zizzy was able to time her movements perfectly. Dodging to one side she managed to get by and pull the cube out. With the object in hand she danced back behind the others.
